Great location and view

The residence was as advertised. Great location with many restaurants within walking distance. Very comfortable living area with a phenomenal view of the ocean.

Excellent vacation

We had a wonderful time in our rental. The condo was everything it was advertised to be. The owner was great and checked on how everything was going periodically during our stay. We would definitely recommend this rental. Clean, updated, and a fabulous location!

Great location and condo

This top floor condo has a fantastic ocean view. As it is a corner unit, the desk situated by the window offers an additional outstanding side view as does the kitchen window. The property is loved and well cared for by the owner. Mike is a wonderful and responsive host. The unit had everything we needed, and we had no issues whatsoever. The description of the condo on the listing is completely accurate. We would welcome another stay in this property.

Perfect!

This property was just perfect for us, both in the unit itself, plus the location and facilities. It was exactly as described, with a wonderful view of the ocean and beach. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen provided everything we need. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and responded quickly. This place is a gem!

Beautiful views

This is a great place for a couple. The beach is quiet. The condo is very comfortable. They have a nice clean pool. The hosts are always helpful if you should happen to need them. Parking is under the garage which is an added benefit. The Gulf is warm and clean and we love watching the pelicans fly by. We can't wait to return.

Very nice condo

The condo was well equipped and furnished comfortably. Easy access to unit and pool area. Quiet and relaxing. The only drawback was the unheated pool. Owner responded immediately which was nice.

Relaxing on the beach

A nice 5 th floor condo that allows a great view of the ocean and beach. Manatees and dolphins could readily be seen. The beach is nice and not as busy as in some areas. The condo was well equipped. Walking distance to restaurants, and under cover parking. Mike checked on us via text, on arrive, mid stay and at end of our stay making sure we didn’t have any issues.

Perfect relaxing ocean front getaway for two!

Quiet relaxing stay. We hope to return. Prompt and courteous communication with owner before and throughout our stay. Owners were more than kind to accommodate our fragrance allergies. Reclining sofa was comfortable, and so was our mattress. Kitchen was well stocked. Watch the sunset from your lanai! Central location to Clearwater and Saint Pete. Many wonderful restaurants nearby…TJ’s for family owned old school Italian. Seaweed grill for wonderfully fresh sushi. Crabby bills for casual fresh fish. Café de Paris for authentic Parisian cuisine, And much more. Publix around the corner. Thanks Mike for all your helpful attention!

Wonderful Indian Rocks Beach Condo

My husband and I had a good first impression of this Indian Rocks Beach condo when we saw photos of its interior and exterior on VRBO. It did not disappoint when we saw it at check-in. We loved that it was an end unit with windows on three sides and that it was on the top (5th) floor. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathroom was modern and we were so glad that it included a stacker washer/dryer. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a small balcony off the bedroom with a view of both the Gulf and the Intracoastal. The location is fantastic and you can walk to so many eateries and shops. One of our favorite places to walk to was an ice cream shop right across the street and it boasted having more than 140 flavors! Grocery stores, parks and churches are a short drive away. The Florida Botanical Gardens is a little over a mile away. Our host was extremely gracious and easy to contact. He was quick to respond to any question and made sure that we had all we needed to have a most enjoyable stay. We plan to return to this fabulous place and we highly recommend it. It has a magnificent view of the beach!

Great location, spectacular view, comfortable condo, helpful host

We enjoyed our stay so very much! The view is great, right on the Gulf, perfect to watch sunsets and even moonsets if you get up to see it! Catch the sunrise out the front door too. The condo is furnished comfortably. Leather wrap around couch with recliners and the bed were especially comfy. The walk-in shower was large and felt great. The water pressure that was mentioned by other reviewers has evidently been fixed, so no problem there. Location was close to all you could want: restaurants, ice cream, drug store all in walking distance, and an easy drive to grocery and shopping, and other attractions. It was nice to have a parking space under the building, too. The car was never too hot and if it's raining, no need to get wet to get to the car! All the other residents were friendly while we were there. Washer and dryer and dishwasher were helpful. Our only advice to renters is: bring your own drying rack. There are really no places to hang your towel or wet suits but the one small towel rack inside the shower. We brought a small foldable drying rack and that worked well for us. Mike, our host, was friendly, & super helpful. Any question we had, he was quick to reply and he took care of everything that came up without it being an issue. We hope we can come back sometime!

Beautiful sunsets from the balcony

This was a very nice place to stay and was exactly as described. The furniture was very comfortable and so was the bed. Plenty of room for two and the kitchen was well stocked. The only negative point is the bathroom needs some help, i.e., the lack of water pressure in the sink was very frustrating and there was only one towel rack which was in the shower so not ideal for hanging wet towels and bathing suits. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful trip, even with a hurricane!

My husband and I came down to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and found this wonderful property. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen with all kinds of storage space. Even before we arrived, Mike was in touch to keep us informed of Ian as it was approaching and to give us options. We did need to evacuate for a few days, but Mike let us know when it was safe to go back, and we were able to return and finish our time at the beach. The views off the balcony are amazing to watch the water and we saw some fabulous sunsets and full moon set. We could not have picked a better place to stay and can't wait to go back again. Thanks Mike and Deb for making our trip special!

Location and Condo Were Great

We enjoyed the location as it was a less crowded part of the beach. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Everything was readily available for us to do more “home-cooked” meals since we were there for around 10 days. The overall area was pretty calm. Loved the relaxing part of the trip, whether it was on the comfortable sofa, wonderful mattress, or sitting out on the deck with a wonderful view of the beach/ocean. This condo also provided views of the beach out of three different windows on the side in different rooms. A nice little perk where you can see the coast line from almost anywhere inside! The owners were very nice, helpful, and prompt when we had questions too.

Great building and unit for IRB stay

As Indian Rocks beach has gotten busier (and busier) over the years, we realized the best way to have some buffer against some of the negative consequences of the high density of short term rentals is to stick to buildings with a 2-week minimum. We discovered Pelican Cove a few years before the pandemic and it is a gem- smaller building with 25 units, well kept, and located between (not right next to) public beach access points so there was always room on the beach directly in front. As units get sold and full time residents replaced with more vacation rentals, I just hope they keep enforcing the 2-week rental period- really keeps the building calm and quiet. This was the first time in this unit and we'll be back for sure! First off- top (5th) floor - so no footsteps above. Amazing gulf views, ample space for a couple, nice open layout, comfortable bed and quality linens- all good. Also, loved how there were no upholstered pieces of furniture- at all. Anyone who has stayed in vacation rentals with stained furniture knows why this is worth mentioning - so nice to have clean leather sectional and even dining chairs that are free from fabric and stains. This is also an end unit so extra side windows give extra light (and views); the paint is a little dark for my liking, but that is just personal taste and by no means a deal breaker. The bedroom does face the road and there is minimal road noise- but the tower fan that we found in the master closet more than masked the environmental noise (and I am a light sleeper). Lots of nice touches- both a pod and regular drip coffee maker, decent condition beach chairs, and a reasonable stocked kitchen (although the non stick pans are pretty well past their lifespan and there were no BBQ utensils to use with new grill that is down by the pool). I was a little jealous of some of the neighbor's new Tommy Bahama beach chairs, but the ones provided were in decent shape, just a little awkward to carry. All in all, if IRB is your destination and you have the ability to stay 2 weeks or more, I don't think you'll find a better option- We're just trying to figure out how we can stay even longer next time!

Lovely condo on the perfect beach

Our two weeks spent at this condo was wonderful. The unit is perfect for a couple looking to have a peaceful trip to Indian Rocks Beach. Mike was fantastic at communicating and the condo was lovely. We can't wait to return!

Perfect IRB Vacation Spot

This gorgeous condo is in a building of 25 condos making it a community feel and very comfortable. The condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. This is perfect for couples. Mike is so helpful and responsive to any questions you have. We’ve been coming here for several years and will continue considering this “our” spot!

Indian Rocks beach

The condo was very clean with everything we needed. The beach is wonderful plus a very nice pool. Met some of the condo owners who were very nice. We walked to many restaurants in the evenings. Keegan's, Guppy's Yellow Banks Grove, P.J. Oyster Bar and Sandy's for breakfast are great places. Crabby Bills is one block away and is OK. We would like to return soon to this place as we are beach people!

The View

We chose this condo because of the perfect ocean view from the balcony. The bonus was that we could also see the ocean from all three side windows and the side balcony, too. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the condo. Our favorite was PJs. If you like shopping and don't mind crowds, Clearwater and St. Pete are not too far to visit in an afternoon. Mike was the ideal host. He responded immediately when we had a small issue concerning technology and the television. And yes, this condo met my high standards for cleanliness. Janice Ohio
