Better than 5 stars! Our stay at this Haiku cottage was perfect in every way! From the very first communication Rosa and Karl were welcoming and helpful, and everything upon arrival was absolutely amazing for our family of 4. We didn't want for anything - the kitchen was better equipped than ours at home, the beds were perfectly comfortable and there was anything we needed. Truly the best of any rental house we have ever seen anywhere in the world. The lush green land was like heaven on earth. I will dream of our time here and we hope to be able to return. Thank you, thank you for welcoming us to your most beautiful place!

We had an amazing stay in Haiku! The home was peaceful, spotless, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect spot to come back to after exploring the island, from golf and beaches to the Old Lāhainā Luau. The location felt tucked away yet still convenient for everything we wanted to do. Our host made the process seamless and welcoming. Rosa and Karl went above and beyond and we appreciate their hospitality!! We hope to come back to Maui again someday and will definitely stay here again if we do! We will definitely recommend their house to our friends and family!!

Amazing Experience Due to Home, Property, Location, And Especially the Hosts

We were lucky enough to spend ten beautiful days at Peace and Serenity. Never have we been approached as guests in such a loving and genuinely enthusiastic way. Karl and Rosa created this amazing cottage as a labor of love, to share the beauty of the island with others. They thought of every last detail that a home would need and added more. Everything is top quality, and you are greeted not only with a hug and a smile, as if you were long lost friends, a beautiful tray of treats and refreshing drinks were left for you. Karl and Rosa are deeply involved in the local community and they are experts in sharing fun and even unusual things to do. They gave us complete privacy in our separated retreat, but were quick to reply if we ever had questions, and loved it when guests enjoyed the many tranquil spots they created on the property. You can feel the genuine love and true spirit of Aloha when you enter this amazing property, beautifully and thoughtfully curated to create a calming, healing experience. The location is great for beaches, hikes and cultural activities. We can't wait to go back, not only to stay at this beautiful oasis, but to visit our new friends and their beautiful dog, Kailani.

All that it says it is and More!

My husband and I spent 8 days here and it was wonderful. Close to Paia, Makawao, and about 25 minutes into major shopping areas. Most beaches are within 15-30 minutes. Rosa and Karl have provided everything you need to have a wonderful stay. Actually it was just like being at home ! We loved it so much we will be back in March and April. The owners are just a text or phone call away and are very responsive. Thanks Rosa and Karl!

The property was immaculate and exactly as described. The hosts are some of the most delightful people you will ever meet, and treated us like family. Rosa's attention to every little detail is amazing! The property itself is off the beaten trail, and was much more peaceful and relaxing than some of the other condos we've stayed in near the cities. We had fresh mangos falling from our trees each day, which our kids got a kick out of. The location was perfect, as you can easily jump on the road to Hana, as well as head up the volcano, while still being just a short drive from Kahului and Kihei. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway on the valley isle!

Haiku Paradise!

Rosa and Karl are supreme hosts! The property is one of a kind, located conveniently next to a wide variety of shopping and grocery stores. You will be surrounded by lush greenery on a tranquil home site. Sleep with windows and doors open to enjoy the breezes and night sound… wake up to roosters announcing the morning. Fresh fruits grow on the property and you are encouraged to wander the two acre space and gather the fruit. It is a wonderful, quiet, secluded and conveniently located rental!!!
