Perfect holiday home for extended family break

Gorgeous spacious large holiday home perfect for the larger or extended family. Very private garden and grounds. Lots of sitting areas and rooms inside so it didn’t feel like you couldn’t get any space. Well kitted out kitchen. We have stayed in many Winterton properties now and this is definitely up there as one of the best.

Another wonderful stay

We have stayed at Cleveland House a few times now and we love it. It is just home from home. The property has everything you can need for an enjoyable & comfortable stay. It was spotless as always and it is a lovely bright and homely property. It's location is perfect as you are right on the doorstep of the village amenities and a short stroll to the dunes. Definitely won't be our last stay.

A perfect break with the family at an amazing, convenient location.

Cleveland house is one of the best houses I have stayed in. Not only do most of the bedrooms have their own bathroom (which makes it so much more comfortable) but the space in the communal areas is outstanding. We stayed with 7 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs and we felt like we had so much room. No one felt on top of eachother and the children and dogs had tonnes of space to play. The location is another thing to shout about… the beautiful beach and beach cafe is 5 minutes walk down the road. There is a premier shop, fish and chip shop and cafe literally steps away so it doesn’t matter it you forget something or don’t feel like cooking, everything is on your doorstep! I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough. My friends and I love it so much that we would like to make it an annual visit. A truly hidden gem!

Family get together

Cleveland House was a lovely spacious house ,perfect for a long weekend to get together with our grown up children. Pub literally 3mins walk and a beach perfect for dog walks within 15mins from property. 10 mins drive to see the seals and 20 mins to Yarmouth .

Perfect house for a perfect break

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Winterton and our stay at Cleveland house made it extra special. Everyone enjoyed it and the house has all the amenities you would need. We loved the fact it was so peaceful but you could also pop to the pub to your left and the beach on your right. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house, everything you need at the house and in the locality. We did find it a bit busy as was tourist season, so will be back during quieter times. Can’t wait to visit again.

A short stay in Winterton

This was our second stay in Winterton, and the first at Cleveland House. The location was excellent, just a stones throw away from fabulous unspoilt walks by the beach and in the dunes - our pointer Dora loves it too! Although limited availability meant we only had 2 nights, we were able to make the most of the Friday, parking by the beach, enjoying a walk and an early lunch at the excellent Fisherman’s Return pub just a few minutes away. The late 4pm check out for Sunday’s helps too. The house is lovely. Beautifully presented and very well equipped with very comfortable beds and lots of space. The only minor issue would be the small TV in the lounge. With 7 of us taking in a film one evening it needed a bit of manoeuvring. It’s quite pricey too if you don’t have the full 10 guests the house can clearly accommodate. We would certainly consider returning.

Family stay for a birthday

A fabulous local basket of goodies was waiting for us in the kitchen ,very welcoming, thank you ! The house was stunning ,clean, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a family weekend including beach towels and children’s toys ! Very convenient for the local shop ,pub and beach all within a few minutes stroll . The gardens were fully enclosed making it safe for our dogs and grandchildren. We had a fabulous weekend as always with Winterton cottages and look forward to our next booking.

A full family week for 9

We stayed with six adults, two young children and a toddler, plus two dogs. Lots of room for all of us. We particularly liked the spacious dining room and table. The hot tub was an added bonus for us as well. The lounge gave us all space to sit and enough floor space for dogs and children. The kitchen worked well, we did a lot of cooking and the generous fridge space (one fridge/freezer plus a freezer and a tall fridge) was a bonus and kept everything cool. Lots of beach equipment too.

A family break with grandparents, grandad’s birthday.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Cleveland House. Family had a great time making memories. Woody the doggie loved the space and chasing his ball in the garden. Our grandchildren loved the hot tub. Loved our stay and hope to return soon. X

A lovely house, comfortable stay

We had a lovely time at Cleveland house, we loved that we could take the family dog and all be together under one roof. We were also provided with a cot, stair gates and high chair for our toddler which was really helpful and convenient. Some of these items were looking quite tired / didn't work as well as they once would have but it was ok for a short stay. The house was really clean and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves for the weekend. The hot tub was lovely and a great addition to our stay!

Amazing stay

We all loved our stay at the Cleveland house, a very spacious, comfortable and a well maintained property. The beds and linen were very comfortable. Plenty of mugs, glasses, pans, crockery and utensils, we cooked a large roast dinner on New Year’s Day with no problem and enjoyed it in comfort around the spacious dining table. The local pub/restaurant The Fishermans retreat was a cozy atmosphere and very welcoming, the local store was well stocked, all the locals were very friendly. Rachel the host was very informative, and we will definitely be booking again. Many thanks Winterton cottages.

A perfect house for a relaxing stay

We stayed this weekend at Cleveland House and have to say it was beautiful. Clean, spacious and super quality, it provided us with the perfect base to relax and catch up with girlfriends. Meals around the spacious table, evenings in the cosy lounge and great walks to see the seals within 10 mins stroll. We would absolutely recommend it to others looking for a perfect base to relax. Wonderful Winterton Weekend

We booked Cleveland House for a family get together to celebrate a 60th birthday. From the initial booking everything went smoothly and the owner really helped us out. The property is large and spacious with everything we needed - even towels to use for the hot tub! The large dining room was great for a large family meal. The property was spotless and bedding and towels were great. The late check out on the Sunday was a real bonus as we were able to do a full Sunday lunch before leaving. We thoroughly recommend Cleveland House and look forward to returning soon.

Very nice house in a great location

We loved our stay at Cleveland House. The house had everything we needed, it was warm, comfortable and had loads of space for our family. The hot tub was a particular hit. I think what we liked most was the location though, we didn't know anything about this area or village before we came, but we would likely return now. The house being right in the middle of the village with a shop, chip shop and nice pub within a minutes walk, only a few minutes walk to the beach and just a few miles from Great Yarmouth, really an ideal location and especially being such a nice village as well.

Wonderful stay

We have just had 3 nights at Cleveland house, the house was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. The house was so well equipped and had everything we needed. We loved having the hot tub in the garden and the supply of towels was great, saved extra space when packing. Lovely walks through the dunes and onto the beach, the village pub was lovely and everyone was so friendly. We had some lovely fish and chips from chip shop and used the local shop too, we didn’t get to go to the tea rooms this time but we will return. Everywhere is in walking distance and very dog friendly.

Wonderful Stay

We booked Cleveland House for my daughter’s 40th birthday , the booking process was easy and communication from Rachel was very good . The house was so cosy, very clean and comfortable for our family of 10 . We cooked our meals in and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need , also so many mugs and plates etc so you could load the dishwasher and still have lots of stuff to use .Beds were all very comfortable and the hot tub was used even though it was sleeting outside . We all agreed that we would love to come and stay again especially in the summer ! If your looking for a large house for all the family you can’t go wrong with Cleveland House it was amazing

Great house in a great location.

The house was lovely, lots of space and well equipped. Plenty of room for 10 people. Winterton is a beautiful village, and the beach, a short distance from the house was stunning.
