The description of the property and the pictures are very misleading. It is essentially a basement apartment (below ground level) and very dark inside. The outside courtyard is dominated by huge aircon units belching out heat and noise (and all the cleaner’s equipment which is left there). The pool had so much chlorine it gave us all respiratory problems and skin rashes. Gas tanks were left in the dining room. The host was extremely rude when we reported faulty and missing equipment, blaming previous guests for the problems. This place is best avoided

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the property did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points. The gas bottles were kept in the backyard, not in the dining room. The air conditioning units are also visible in the property photos, so they are not something that was hidden from view. Regarding the pool, we are sorry to hear that you experienced discomfort, but we cannot establish that the pool was the cause of the health issues you mention. We do apologise if some cleaning equipment was left outside. This was the responsibility of the cleaning company and should not have happened. As for the communication with the property manager, we regret that the interaction was not positive. Fantastic apartment

This apartment is much bigger than the pictures show. It had everything we needed ehuch was great! Its very close to cafes, bars and supermarket's. My only issue was the pool area was very small, it hardly got any sun which was a shame.

Here you go for our view if you are thinking of booking as I saw a lot of mixed reviews. The apartment is deceptively big with three very large double beds and a large seating area, kitchen area and dining area. The outside at the rear was great for relaxing and using the pool to cool down in. The front is to the road and we didn’t use it. The apartment was clean, a bit tired in places but not in a way that impacted our stay and to be expected. The beds were comfortable, we had towels provided, the washing facilities were great with a washer and dryer and a space to dry things outside. The rear furniture was great but could have done with a hose down. Again, this didn’t impact our stay. All in all it was perfect for what we wanted. Space, a good location, an outside pool for cooling down in or relaxing by (shaded so not much sun for sunbathing but loads of places nearby for that). There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby and the kitchen had everything we needed. If you stay go to the sea pool it’s lovely. The ferry to Gozo or Sliema is good. You can then hope over to Comina or Valletta. Bolt taxis are dead handy. The people are friendly. Take beach shoes and snorkels (you won’t regret it). We had a lovely time and the apartment was a great base for relaxing or exploring.

Accommodation huge it’s deceiving from the pictures. Equipped with everything you need. Shop around the corner, plenty of restaurants at the front in Qawra and a 10 minute walk to main square and front at BugibaThe only negative is if you love the sun it’s only around the pool area from 12 to 4.30 we stayed the first 10 days in July.
