The villa is in a super location, above Agios Georgios with a view across the bay. You need a car, even though you can walk down into the village the walk back up that hill is a killer in the heat.Inside is clean, tidy and well laid out. All the rooms have air-con which is a must and much needed. Each bedroom and the lounge area has a balcony that you can sit on and look at the sea. The pool area is clean and well equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas on movable stands and selected inflatables. I knew going when we booked that the decor was dated but the bathroom was a let down. While clean, the shower head was partially blocked (a 5 fix), the tap was very hard to mix (either scorching hot or cold) and the bath (with screens mounted to it) was hard to get into for short people like our family. The whole bathroom needs renovating. The most modern thing in there is the toothbrush holders and soap dispenser. The kitchen is similar. While clean and practical it’s dated and needs upgrading. The toaster, sandwich maker and microwave are from another time. We don’t drink coffee so never tested the coffee machine. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fabulous place to stay. I’d just like to think they’d upgrade through the winter one season and make it worthy of the price tag.
