Watchtower House, Prime familiar, construido en 1 ha. De olivares

La casa Watchtower es un lugar de vacaciones ideal para toda la familia. La villa está situada en un olivar de 11 ha. Posee una piscina extra larga con sección para niños. Una playa tranquila está a 350 metros. Las vistas al mar son asombrosas.

La villa se alquila semanalmente, de lunes a lunes, pero pregunte por los diferentes días de llegada e intentaremos servirle si podemos.

Esta hermosa y espaciosa villa ha sido construida en 10.000 metros cuadrados de olivares en una ladera suavemente inclinada justo por encima de la costa noreste.

La casa de la Watchtower tomó su nombre de una antigua torre situada al lado de la villa que se utilizó para vigilar los barcos enemigos.
La casa fue hecha con cuidado y gusto clásico. No se ahorraron gastos en la construcción y creemos que tiene todos los lujos que uno puede pedir.

La casa tiene tres niveles. En la planta baja se encuentra la sala de estar, la cocina y dos dormitorios con sus baños en suite. En el nivel superior hay dos dormitorios con sus baños en suite y en el nivel inferior se encuentra la sala de juegos (mini gimnasio, mesa de billar, PS3) más dos camas, un baño y una sala de lavandería.

En el exterior, un atractivo comedor sombreado al aire libre se complementa con una cocina exterior totalmente equipada junto a la barbacoa, todo bajo una pérgola sombreada. ¡No creemos que puedan arrastrarse lejos de este lugar de amor! La escena se completa con una piscina de horizonte excepcionalmente grande con una pequeña sección para niños poco profunda y otra área sombreada detrás de la villa que alberga una mesa de ping pong. Instalaciones adicionales de juegos para niños se pueden encontrar en el césped junto a la piscina. Las vistas a lo largo de toda la costa, a través de Albania y hasta la ciudad de Corfú, son simplemente impresionantes en todo momento del día y se pueden disfrutar desde todas las áreas principales de la casa y las terrazas. Los terrenos cuentan con senderos para explorar y muchos árboles frutales de los que puede recoger y probar deliciosas frutas: ¡simplemente una excelente villa que parece cumplir con las expectativas de la mayoría de las personas y excede a muchas!
Por último, pero no menos importante, la cumbre de alta montaña que se puede ver desde la parte trasera de la casa.

Salón comedor con puertas de patio a terrazas y área de piscina. Cocina. Habitación doble con baño en suite. Habitación doble con baño en suite conduce a la terraza con vistas a las ruinas de la "torre de vigilancia".

Escaleras al primer piso: habitación doble con baño en suite con bañera Jacuzzi® y ducha separada. Habitación doble con baño en suite con bañera Jacuzzi®, todas con salida a un gran balcón con vista al mar.

El nivel del suelo inferior (al que se accede por escaleras internas) ofrece una amplia sala de estar adicional con dos sofás grandes que se convierten en camas (ideal para adolescentes y pueden acomodar a otras 2 personas y ambos sofás cama son armarios), televisión con DVD, piscina de tamaño completo mesa, mini gimnasio con cinta de correr, bicicleta estática, colchoneta y pesas. Ducha. Lavadero. Puertas de patio a un área de terraza con escalones que conducen a la piscina.

Spectacular!

This property is a true gem. Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Watchtower House. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mr. Dimitri and his family with a delicious meal of traditional Corfiot foods and many snacks for us to enjoy. The property was immaculate and the pool was cleaned daily. Although the house was charming and very comfortable, the outdoor space is second to none with breathtaking views from every angle. We visited the local butcher and fish monger and prepared several meals in the outdoor kitchen, some of the most memorable we shared as a family. The location of the Watchtower house is perfect for exploring Corfu, a short drive to many amazing beaches and villages. Delicious taverns within walking distance. We were sad the week came to an end, but will always treasure the memories made at this spectacular property. Highly Recommend!

Paradise in Corfu

The Watchtower Villa is heaven on earth! Our family of six stayed there for a week, and everyday was pure bliss. Dimitrius is the best possible host, and the vistas and swimming pool area are unsurpassed!!! We would stay there every single summer if we could!! The villa is ideally situated to explore the island and is less than 25 minutes from a myriad of idyllic beaches. Quite honestly, everything at the villa is perfect and now I know why it is consistently rated a 5+ .

Wonderful Watchtower

Perfect villa, ideally located with excellent views. Beautiful pool, outdoor seating and BBQ area. Dimitri and his wife couldn’t have done more for us, so helpful and kind, they went above and beyond. Beautiful food prepared for us on arrival for lunch and tea. We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

The dreamiest of places!

We had a wonderful holiday in Corfu and that was 95% thanks to our lovely host and house. The setting in the olives trees and the views on Old Corfu are stunning and we couldn't hope for a more warm welcome. Definitely coming back!

The perfect holiday home

If you think this property looks good in the photos, you will be blown away by it in real life!! Without doubt the most beautiful villa I have stayed in, the pool is huge with the most spectacular views surrounding it. Perfect for all ages with a lovely little kids pool, shallow steps down into the main pool and a deep end for the bigger kids. There are plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy all with comfortable seating. The outdoor kitchen in just incredible and you feel like you are sitting in your own private Greek taverna. Inside there is plenty of space, although we spent very little time inside! Everything has been thought of and there was wifi and a music system. The owners cannot do enough for you and we were welcomed with a delicious authentic Greek meal, bread, milk, juice, wine and beers. They keep the pool clean and are outside tending the garden first thing every morning, making sure everything is perfect - which it was! We love this little corner of Corfu, we hired a boat from Nissaki harbour and also enjoyed meals at Glyfa Taverna, Nikolas Taverna in Agni and Restaurant Caryatides in nearby Barbati - where we ate a couple of times as the staff were so lovely. As we were travelling with my elderly parents and 2 small children, we did find we needed a car to get around, although the more mobile of families would definitely be ok walking. I really hope to return here someday and would highly recommend a stay here.

Stunning villa and views, great location and perfect for families

Perfect villa for our 2 families with children ranging from 6-13. The pool was huge with beautiful views towards Corfu town and Albania. The pool table and table tennis kept the kids entertained when they wanted a break from the sun. Great location to walk to Glyfa beach and taverna, with Nissaki and Barbati beaches only 2 minutes in the car. Kassiopi was only a 25 minute drive and easy to reach by boat hired from Nissaki, stopping at coves to swim along the way. Corfu Town was only 30 mins away, with Aqualand 40 mins (a must for the kids!) and the inflatable obstacle course at Ipsos 10 mins away also provided lots of fun. We were greeted on the first day with a delicious lunch cooked by the owner Dimitris - such a surprise and gorgeous local food. The owners were so helpful and lovely. Would recommend and love to return.

Perfect In All Ways

We absolutely loved Corfu and our stay in this property. The house is completely as described in the listing but does not fully capture the charm you will actually feel once you arrive. It was our private oasis for the entirety of our stay and it felt special to open up and bring the house alive each morning and to welcome us back after any of our adventures. The owners were amazing and truly have thought of everything. They start you off with a gorgeous, authentic meal including a main, salad, bread, wine, fruit, coffee and waters. The house is well stocked for any cooking needs as well as the basic soaps, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs etc. The layout of the house including the outdoor kitchen, garden, seating areas and pool work so nicely together. The pool was the biggest and cleanest of any home we have ever stayed in with incredible views. The beds were also very comfortable and the house was well designed and maintained from top to bottom both inside and out! We felt the coves starting with Glyfa and moving north were the best on the island. We spent our days either by the pool or at the Nissaki beach just a two minute drive away. We rented a boat one day to tour the coves north of Barbati. There are some wonderful restaurants for both lunch and dinner all along those spots and you can use a water taxi to pick you up and drop you off if you would prefer not to drive. The walk down to Glyfa beach and the Taverna is made safe and easy by a path. It does require you to be semi fit but you can certainly take breaks along the way! Apologies for the long and gushing review but it can be daunting to book a holiday over the Internet so hopefully this has helped. You won’t regret your stay at this amazing property. Pair it with a few day stay in old Corfu Town and it will be your dream vacation.

Ein perfekter Urlaub mit Freunden

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Ausblick und schöner Einrichtung. Der Pool ist spitze, die Ausstattung im Haus lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren zu fünft sort und hatten noch Schlafzimmer frei. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit auf Korfu!

Wonderful villa

Our family of ten (grandparents to grandchildren) arrived on August 24th for one week. The owner prepared supper for us on our first evening and it was delicious . The villa is perfect, especially outside with a beautiful pool in front of views of Corfu Town and Albania. A five minute walk takes you to Glyfa Beach which has a superb restaurant overlooking the beach. Agni is a little further away but we took a water taxi to one of the lovely three restaurants there. We also rented a boat for a day which took us to Koloura where another good restaurant hosted us. I can't recommend this villa strongly enough. The owners keep the place very tidy and apart from a dodgy fridge which gave us some grief nothing went wrong. We want to return next year health permitting.

Es fällt uns schwer die Begeisterung für diese Location der Superlative in Worte zu fassen. Es hat wirklich alles gestimmt. Die Lage mit dem fantastischen Meerblick ist einfach einmalig, das Haus bot viel Platz und Komfort für unsere 9köpfige Familie. Den Pool, den liebevoll angelegten Garten, und nicht zu vergessen die Aussenküche haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen. Besonderes Hilight war das Willkommensessen von Dimitris und Friderike. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Beautiful property and location

This property is absolutely fantastic, the facilities are absolutely great, the view is beautiful and the owners of the villa really looked after us during our stay. The property is clean, the beds are comfortable and we arrived to food in the fridge which was such a lovely touch. I cannot speak highly enough about the property or the owners, any requests we had were met positively and overall we had the most amazing family holiday in a very special place which we will not forget in a very long time.

Fabulous villa

The owner has thought of every thing and it is like a home from home. The welcome meal was wonderful and he couldn’t do enough to help. We have rented many villas and this has the best pool we have ever had with sun all day and great views. The outdoor kitchen was just lovely. We loved Glyfa beach and the taverna- the staff were so friendly. Also hired a boat for 2 days from Nissaki and they were great. Very good meal upstairs there at Isla Cuisine and lovely cocktail bar next door. A wonderful stay in this beautiful villa.

Family Celebrations in Corfu

It is hard to imagine that there could have been a better place to celebrate birthdays and a wedding anniversary. The house was just perfect in every way for the three generations of the family; wonderful location, very well appointed property to cater for all ages and interests, lovely pool and stunning views. The owners made us feel particularly welcome. We greatly appreciated the dinner waiting for us on arrival and the Greek cookery lesson in the outside kitchen was a huge success. Thanks go to Dimitri, Athanassia and family who constantly work hard to provide the highest standards for this holiday property. It is five star recommended.

Excellent accommodation for a group of friends

Arrived in torrential rain but couldn’t have had a warmer welcome from Dimitris. Accommodation is comfortable, well equipped, spotless and private. Stunning views with superb outside space. Dimitris cooked two traditional meals for us which were delicious and was very informative about local information. We would suggest a hire car is essential if you wish to explore further afield. Lovely taverna at Nassaki and we enjoyed hiring a boat from there for a day. Thank you Dimitris, we have had a wonderful week.

Het paradijs op aarde!

Fantastic!

Booked here for one week from 25th May 2018 to celebrate my birthday with family. Villa is fantastic with stunning views, we were met by Dimitris who had made us a lovely welcome meal including fruit and bottles of wine! He was so helpful for our entire week taking us to a supermarket and helping book a minibus for us to visit Corfu town. The villa had everything you could wish for and was ideal for all ages, if you wanted to be in the pool or sit in the shade you could all interact which was perfect for all! Would love to return to this beautiful villa!

Stunning view..

We had a wonderful time at the Watch Tower Villa we stayed from May 13- 20Th 2018 , we walked to the next village as you turn right at the bottom of the hill, but you do need to rent a car to get your groceries. We went to a lovely Taverna few minutes walk from the villa you walk down the hill turn right than cross the road it’s just up on the left it serve’s lovely meals. Enjoy your stay ....

A Corfu Gem

Wow, this villa has it all! This was a two week booking for myself, my wife and our grown up children + partners. The published photos are great, but the reality is so much more. From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a wonderful base for our holiday. The views of the sea, the mountains and the Olive groves all around us were just breathtaking. We were warmly greeted by Dimitris and Frederica on arrival and shown around all the facilities of this beautiful and very well appointed property. All the room are spacious, very tastefully decorated and furnished. Even with a group of seven people there was always a quiet corner on hand to just sit, relax, and admire the beauty and tranquility of the villa grounds and the Corfu vistas all around you. We have stayed in a number of large holiday villas before, but the facilities and standard of service we received at Watchtower house really were outstanding. It delivered to everyone's expectations, young and old! The large infinity swimming pool is immaculately maintained and was enjoyed by floaters and swimmers alike! To have a completely equipped outdoor kitchen, BBQ and dining area is just so unusual and a real special touch. There are several Tavernas within easy walking distance of the villa, offering great dining locations and very nice local menus. If you want to hire a boat for the day, that is all on hand too and we had a great day out swimming and snorkeling in the various bays North of Nisaki We were treated to a wonderful selection of delicious local dishes by Dimitris and Frederica both on arrival and once again in the second week. Nothing was too much trouble if we needed assistance during their regular but very non-intrusive visits to service the property. Amazing villa, great location and lovely hosts

A lovely house with great amenities, amazing pool. Great hosts who are fantastic with kids. Lovely gardens with fruit and olives available to pick. The outdoor kitchen is perfect and really nice to eat in. A really relaxing place with nice beaches and restaurants close by. Would defintely recommend and return again!

Watchtower House in late May

Really lovely house with superb sea views. The owners are very kind and helpful. You need a car really to go shopping and to go to the numerous restaurants , some of which are superb quality.
