Set on the Royal Crescent in Whitby, in an elegant 1850s townhouse which has been renovated throughout into luxury lift-served apartments. Saltwater Suite has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The living area is open plan, with the balcony accessed through the tall sash window, where you can sit out to enjoy the panoramic sea views. Inside you have the modern and well equipped kitchen as well as the dining table, where you can create meals to enjoy together. In the bedroom is a sumptuous kingsize bed, again with those wonderful sea views. The apartment is complete with a shower room benefitting from a cubicle shower, sink and hairdryer so you can start and end each day refreshed.
Ideally positioned you have an array of bars, cafés, restaurants and independent shops all within a 5-minute walk. From the cliff top you have a footpath zigzagging down to the golden sands, with a surf school as well as colourful beach huts. You are in close proximity to the Pavilion as well as the Metropole, both of these venues hold year round events, including live music for Goth Weekend, Northern Soul, Folk Week, Motown Weekend and Steam Punk. Whitby is the jewel of the Yorkshire coast, oozing with history, culture and attractions. Boasting stunning beaches, charming, cobbled streets, scenic walks and trails as well as the iconic Whitby Abbey.
Surrounded by the vast expanse of the wild North York Moors National Park, there are many beauty spots nearby to visit. For walkers, you can join the Cleveland Way along the rugged cliff edges visiting coves, bays and picturesque little coastal towns. Or ride the steam train over the hills and through the valleys on the moors railway. If you really want to embrace the spirit of the town, why not try your hand at fishing?
