The well-known North Downs Way offers spectacular views and a fascinating heritage, passing through the nearby Kent Downs Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The following part of the trail incorporates the historic Pilgrims Way and the heights of the top of the Downs.

The nearby farm hosts an annual (April) ’lambing day’ and country market in the field directly opposite the property.
