This is my third time staying at Arena Blanca and it was amazing! The staff, the location, and Judy’s food recommendations are 10/10! We will be back!

Cute. Actually, very cute

It is difficult to not like this property. It is best described as cute. Actually, very cute. The on-site staff and management are fantastic. They are all very accommodating and kind. All in all our stay at Arena Blanca has been terrific, but there are a few things that I wish I would have known before staying here and there are some minor improvements within the unit that I think would benefit other travelers as well. Yes, this complex is correctly advertised as quiet. However, the the outside surroundings are not. There is a bar just a few doors down that is very loud at times. Also, the surrounding traffic noise is pretty constant. I bring my work with me when I travel. The unit had no desk space. In fact, the only table that could be used for this purpose was the small patio table. The upstairs private deck table area would have been perfect but there was no Wi-Fi connectivity there. It made me think that the space that the spare bed in the living room is taking up could be better utilized for a desk or table. Frankly, this unit would be very crowded with more than two people occupying it. For this reason, I think the unit would benefit from being re-configured and furnished accordingly. Other than that, just add a better stock of towels for the shower. Three towels for two people is at least three towels short. Finally, we loved that the doors were keyless! The key code system should be the standard for all Vrbo rentals. We thank you for letting us stay at Areana Blanca.

Great Condo in the heart of Playa

Our experience with Judy and the property manager were very good. The property is very nice and close to the beach, 5th avenue. The property behind us during our stay was very loud and kept us awake a few nights but that is not the fault of Judy or her property manager but instead a lack of respect on the renters part. They were rentals and that would probably not be an issue in the future. Overall a great property!

The property was just as advertised and as pictured. It’s very charming and feels more like a home than a condo. Very well located for access to shopping , beaches, restaurants and grocery stores.

This is our second time at Arena Blanca. The condo was perfect for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd stay at arena Blanca. The property is well maintained and property manager and grounds keeper went out of there way to help us. This serene little property is close to everything that you need and the beach is only five minutes away. Loved our stay!

Charming, comfy and clean. Great staff!

My husband and I stayed in Judy’s condo for 12 nights, to escape the cold Canadian winter. The condo is lovely and well cared for by local manager, Nadia, by the maid (whose name we never heard), maintenance man, Isaias, and the nighttime security guard, Manuel. We had a few bumps at the beginning but the owner, Judy and her staff tried quickly to fix the issues. Unbeknownst to the owner, the clothes washer wasn’t working, which was an inconvenience. We had packed lightly, thinking that we’d be able to do our laundry as needed. Realizing that it couldn’t be repaired while we were there, Nadia and Judy were creative with looking after the problem. Not an ideal solution, but it worked. Having 1 1/2 bathrooms was what we were looking for; not easy to find in a one-bedroom unit. Judy was usually quite responsive and passed along messages to Nadia, when necessary. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the opportunity to actually meet Judy when she was there. The condo is on a busy street, with several bars and restaurants nearby, but we never found it too noisy and never felt unsafe while we were there. Mid-stay cleaning was nicely done, and appreciated. If you plan to do any amount of meal prep, you might want to take measuring spoons/cups, vegetable peeler, and grater for cheese or vegetables, folding bowl for salad or mixing ingredients, dishcloth . . . Our biggest problem while we were there, was the unreliability of the internet. We weren’t given the password until our 2nd day. We were relying on that to communicate with our family back home. Unfortunately, my 88 year old mother (in Canada) was taken to hospital by ambulance, 2 days after we arrived in Playa. I was trying to assess the situation, and determine if we needed to return home. Another Canadian guest contacted Nadia on a Mexican holiday, to get the password for us. We eventually connected, but it only worked if you were in front of the balcony door, or actually on the balcony. The owner, Judy, said that it was because we were in a concrete building however, if there was a router or booster in the unit, the problem would be solved. We went to another family member’s condo, about a 3 minute walk away, to use their wi-fi. They were on the 3rd floor of a concrete building, with great wi-fi, so we were able to monitor the situation at home. That was our biggest disappointment while there. All in all, it was a relaxing vacation. We would consider staying here again.

Beautiful Arena Blanca

We stayed in Arena Blanca January 5 to February 2 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location being close to fifth avenue, a short walk to restaurants, the beach and grocery shopping. The grounds are very visually appealing with all the flowers and the pool and kept spotless by Isiah who was always there to help with any issues that you had . Being completely gated with a security guard at night you always felt safe. Nadia and Judy were always quick to respond if you had questions or problems. Our fridge stopped working after 3 weeks but was promptly repaired. We had maid service once a week and she did an excellent job of keeping the place spotless. We are looking forward to our return stay at Arena Blanca!

amassing and unforgettable

this is an amassing place to relax and enjoy. great service from management and employees, comfortable and clean like new,and everything is to a walking distance so need to rent a car. But if you decide to rent one they will bring it to your door step. I can not wait to to go back to Arena blanca's .

A honeymoon we will NEVER forget

My wife and I came here and stayed for one week for our belated honeymoon and we will never forget it. It was seven days and nights of absolute bliss. We stayed in the roof-top suite and just loved every second. The staff was very kind and the location is ideal for anyone that likes conveinience and things that are cool. Great dining, easy to buy stuff to make meals, the beach is a five minute walk away, and the location makes it so if you wanna keep it low key you may, and if you wanna get wild, fun is just blocks away. So sad we must leave but we will be back!
