Great location to visit Copenhagen - very central and easy to access transportation. We were a group of in shape seniors so the stairs wee not a problem - a bit nosy at night but what you would expect for a downtown location.

I was travelling my wife and 3 adult daughters. The location was perfect for us. Very convenient to public transportation and easily walkable to many of the sights we wanted to visit. The unit provided plenty of space for the 5 of us. The host was very accommodating and helpful when we had a last minute situation prior to check in.We would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Excellent location! Right on the middle of the action…so close to palaces, castles, shops, pubs, restaurants!!!! Very walkable!

The location was great, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It was an easy metro ride to and from the airport. Street noise was significant, but that's the price to pay for being on a main thoroughfare. One caution would be that the kitchen was sparsely outfitted. Travelers hoping to cook in for some meals may be disappointed.

Although it stated that the property was not appropriate for handicapped, the three flights of narrow stairs would be a detrimental to anyone with even a minor disability. After accessing the street entry door, persons must traverse a 40 foot hallway that had no working wall lights, garbage and refuse containers plus a working pigeon nest, complete with droppings. We used our phone light to make it through this area when dark. The apartment, itself, was large and airy but minimally furnished, lacking even the basics such as salt and pepper. Ideally located near attractions, this was a lively, fun spot to view the action but needs to work on the amenities.

Thank you for your feedback , As stated in the listing, the property is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The apartment is located in the heart of Copenhagen, in one of the city's historic buildings, where access is via the original staircase. The common areas of the building, including the hallway and entrance, are managed by the building administration rather than by us. We only manage the apartment itself, which we understand from your review met your expectations.

The place was not clean! The toilet in the MB was dirty. The kitchen drawers were dirty inside. It was difficult to sleep with loud music from downstairs in the front and back of building. ( front is a restaurant/bar that has loud music and a neighbor supplied a different music and party atmosphere) The kitchen is not equipped for cooking. The coffee machine is antiquated and doesn’t work well. Location is excellent! Size of apartment is great!

Great city apartment!

This was a wonderful apartment for our family of 4 for 4 nights. Located right on Stroget for shopping and a block from Nyhavn Canal it was a fantastic location. The washer and dryer were helpful for packing lightly and worked well. I would highly recommend this unit. For a 3BR the price and location can’t be beat.

Central City nice location

The apartment is centrally located. The coaches need to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned and entrance needs better lights. Aside from that the apartment bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice hot showers. My family loved the location and all they cared about was having a place to sleep.

I was going to write a review - then realized Joanne P's review summed up everything I would say about it. The noise was especially loud on Saturday night but it was a rare Germany/Denmark finalist soccer match game. The centricity of this property can't be beat however. Great stay!

As whole, the apartment was nice. From a convenience standpoint, the location was excellent. The apartment is generally in good condition and well appointed. However, one of the couches in the living area was broken and extensively stained. It was not useable from our perspective. Also, be aware that the area is very noisy, including a shared courtyard that was filled with very loud commotion (likely from the restaurant on the first floor) as early as 5:30 a.m. each day.

Perfect Location Downtown

This apartment is right in the thick of things- an absolutely perfect location. The courtyard was a bit sketchy and there is no elevator so we were a bit worried as we climbed the stairs, however the place was spacious and clean and comfortable. We slept well on the beds and there was plenty of bedding. There is a grocery store just around the corner and a restaurant/cafe downstairs. It’s right across the street from Magasin du Nord- so, it possible to walk indoors from the metro almost to the front door, which avoided pulling luggage-over-cobblestone streets. Appreciated the washer/dryer as we have messy pre-teens. It was great that there was laundry detergent provided. We would definitely stay here again, but just know that if you’re not a night owl or you are a light sleeper, this perfect location does mean it can be noisy on the weekend. The kitchen was well-equipped with tableware and pots/pans- with the notable exception of a microwave, we managed to reheat leftovers the « old fashioned » way. Excellent coffee was provided, but you’ll need ALL the other staples. Be sure to bring a hairdryer and soap/ shampoo.

This location cannot be beat- super central to walk anywhere and everywhere, or access the wider city from the central metro station a block away. Inside this apartment needs work- the couches, as mentioned as far back as a year in reviews, are quite gross and falling apart. One of the beds/pillows had a rank/musty odor that I am still trying to wash out of my clothes. The courtyard, as others mentioned, is quite loud as trash is collected in the early morning and a pretty gloomy way to be greeted upon entry. We had great weather and wanted the windows opened, but because of trash storage in the courtyard, flies came in through the windows our first night. Would have tried to leave street facing windows open to cool off the apartment instead had we expected that. I did reach out to the "owner" through VRBO, but this is managed by a company, not the actual owner. They are responsive to messages but they didnt address anything during our stay if that is a priority to get a vacation rental from an actual owner in case of serious issues. My concerns were primarily cosmetic, so didnt need urgent addressing during our stay. Overall, this is a comfortable and spacious rental for a larger group (traveled as 6 adults), but some of the amenities you might expect from an apt over staying in a hotel are lacking here.

In The middle of Everything

We were a group of four older family members and had a great stay in Copenhagen in this apartment. I want to be fair on this review so pros and cons.PositivesLovely spacious flat with large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels and bedding supplied.The location is perfect if you want to be central and walk around. Just a couple of minutes to Nyhaven, The metro, Magasin Du Nord Shopping and the main shopping street of Stroget etc.Cons ( No fault of the owners but be aware)The location comes with some trade offsThe central location of the apartment does mean there is a lot of noise from the streets and cafe just below and from cafe staff in the courtyard at the back.(I will be honest and say that we were lucky with wonderful weather but this meant having windows open as the apartment was hot - noise levels not so bad when windows closed).There are a lot of stairs! and no lift so if you have any mobility issues be aware. The entrance area which is right by the cafe bins wasnt the most pleasant entry route.Some things that need approving:Both settees were stained one quite badly and it had a tear. I note this was mentioned in a review earlier so really needs addressing.The shower curtain was also badly stained at the bottom so could do with replacing. Neither of these are deal breakers but just give an air of lack of care for an otherwise wonderful apartment.Supplying two key fobs would be good as well.

This was a very nice place to have as a home base for our family's 5 nights in Copenhagen. The location is amazing with so many things in easy walking distance.Beautiful apartment with nice views of Østergade shopping street. The neighborhood can be quite noisy at night, so if you want peace and quiet, look elsewhere (particularly in the summer when you will want to have windows open).

It’s a third floor apartment with narrow stairs so if you are carrying heavy luggage, it’s a challenge to get up and down the stairs. Also, the entrance at street level is quite trashy and unkept, not a good first-impression introduction.
