Our property features a charming circular courtyard shaded by 200-year-old yew trees. The centrepiece of the enclosure is a lovely fountain.
This modern, comfortable gîte features a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, a large living room, a bedroom, and a WC. You will find two bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms on the first floor. The Gîte also Offer two areas for alfresco dining (patio furniture and BBQ). Our property boasts two swimming pools perfect for sunbathing while enjoying a refreshing swim. Both pools are securely fenced off for your safety and peace of mind. Games areas and 2 acres of garden to enjoy and relax. Ideal for families and friends who want to appreciate all the delights of Southern France!
There is free Wi-Fi and parking with large communal swimming pools, games areas with a pool table, a football table, table tennis, and a swing set with ample space to play football or relax. The impressive Chateau de Javarsay in Chef Boutonne has a fishing lake and picnic area within walking distance. There is a Saturday Market, various shops, restaurants, bars, two supermarkets and all the general amenities you might need, all 1.5 km from your front door. Within one hour’s drive, there are many things to do and see. Nearby activities include the city of Cognac, with different visits to the distillery—the long sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast, La Rochelle and its historic harbour. Les iles de Ré et d'Oléron . Take a boat trip from La Rochelle around the famous Fort Boyard. The architecture of Poitier, Angoulême, and Rochefort is fascinating, and there are sightseeing opportunities. The Futuroscope theme park, Zoodyssée, la Vallée des Singes. Or the Prehistoric site of the Tumulus de Bougon, the Gallo-Roman theatre of Saint. Kayaking or boating on the Charente or cycling on cycle route V93, passing along our property following the Boutonne River.
