You're just a short walk away from grocery stores, shops, and public transportation, making it convenient for daily living. The neighborhood's central location means you can easily explore the rest of Luxembourg. Public transportation options are readily available, including buses and trams, allowing you to access other parts of the city with ease.

Our apartment is thoughtfully equipped for your stay—Smart TV, bed linens, and bath towels are all provided at no extra cost. We also welcome long-term stays, making it an ideal home base for remote workers and business travelers. To help maintain a safe, respectful, and pleasant environment for all guests and neighbors, please take a moment to review and follow the house guidelines below:



1. ID Requirement: Please provide a government-issued ID for all guests above 18 during the online check-in process.



2. Check-In/Check-Out: Please adhere to the designated check-in and check-out times. To ensure a smooth experience, check-in is from 3 PM onward, and check-out is by 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are not available.



3. Guest Limit: Only those listed in your reservation are permitted on the premises of the property. No visitors or unregistered individuals should have access to the property.



4. Residential Use Only: The property is intended for private residential use by registered guests only. If your stay involves additional guests beyond your reservation, we cannot be responsible for privacy concerns.



5. Respect the Neighbours: Please be mindful of noise, especially during quiet hours (10:00 PM to 8:00 AM). Parties, events, illegal activities, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited. Loud music after 10 PM is not allowed.



6. No Smoking: Please use designated smoking areas. Smoking tobacco or any recreational drugs inside the building is strictly forbidden. A €500 penalty will apply for non-compliance.



7. Furniture and Structures: Refrain from moving furniture or setting up tents or other structures. A €300 cleaning fee will apply for any stains or any items that are taken or damaged.



8. Departure: When leaving, please turn off all lights and heating, place your key badge in the designated lockbox, clean the kitchen, and dispose of any leftover items to avoid a €200 cleaning fee.



9. Liability: Please note that we are not liable for issues managed by third-party entities.



10. Damages and Cleaning: Guests are responsible for any damages or additional cleaning incurred during their stay.



11. Support Liability: As a self-check-in property without a reception, we will not assume liability for check-in problems if guests are uncooperative with troubleshooting. In-person assistance is unavailable from 5 PM to 9 AM, including weekends and holidays.



12. On-Site Visits: We offer 24/7 remote support for any issues that may arise. On-site visits are subject to availability during weekday hours (9 AM to 5 PM) after internal decision. If a guest requests an on-site visit after remote troubleshooting and no issue is found, the guest will be liable for all associated costs.



13. Compliance: It’s essential to comply with all house guidelines. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your stay without a refund.

Lovely place in a beautiful location. All the listing information about the property was accurate. Lots of uphill walking to get to the train station or old town area but the views and architecture are breathtaking and make it worth it. Pack light or leave your suitcase on the main level; you won’t get large luggage up the spiral staircase. I only used the kitchen minimally but it appeared well equipped. Highly recommend.

Fantastic apartment and location. The listing said 60 sq ft. So I was skeptical. I think they meant 600. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

Funky Apartment in the Grund, Lux

Great and very different place! Built in to the rock of the cliff behind the apartment created a really interesting interior. Location in historic Lux was handy to 2 excellent local pubs and via a convenient elevator, the downtown shopping district. Hosts always available and accommodating on the phone for assistance when needed.

I loved this property but only gave it a 4 to warn people about the tight circular stairs to the bedroom and bathroom which were only shared at checkin. In you can’t climb stairs not a good location for you. Also they are so tight I could not get my luggage up had to hand carry everything up the stairs. Also know you are staying down in the valley of Luxembourg City ie the Grund. Which is cool but the main city is quite an uphill walk. Though there are some elevators. Again cool place but not optimal for people who have limited mobility.

There were some inaccuracies with the videos for getting the key and opening the correct door, stove top video, the upstairs bathroom sink linked so we did use it - needing to use the downstairs sink to brush teeth, trash not emotied

LOVED the location, quirky vibe, and old world charm. Really exasperating to have such stingy amenities. 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel for 7 nights? Zero cleaning products. The shower would not drain the first night and we ended up with our only towels wet. We’re told to order more online for a fee. Two coffee cups? Very limited cooking supplies. Another review requested a small fry pan and measuring cups. Nope, not remedied. We bought towels, dish towels, and donated a set of coffee cups for the next guest. I would not recommend a stay longer than 3 nights or you will be running around buying what is usually provided and wasting vacation time. Outdoor space needs a maintenance review. The property is a 10 but we disliked buying what should have been there.

We Love Luxembourg

This is a wonderful property with the ideal location for us. We loved the UPDOWN, the neighborhood and the friendly and helpful neighbors. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the WIFI because of the flooding so we were unable to connect the first day making it difficult to figure out some important specifics. We would suggest some written notes in case this were to happen again. It was a frustrating time trying to connect and no one knew it was because of the flooding until after fact. Written notes would have solved the problem. There is a great kitchen but it's not obvious that there are some needed supplies- under the sink- . As we love to visit the local markets and cook when we are staying in a VRBO we found that we were in need of a couple of things- ie a measuring cup, a small fry pan and more dishtowels. Other VRBO's that we have stayed in have provided a couple of days supply of dish soap, a small amount of sugar, little things like that make it much easier for the guests and very much appreciated. If I were to have paid for longer I would have expected two more towels for the bath. Comfortable bed, nice linens. We have stayed in places all over Europe and found this to be right up there with the best. Hope to return in December. We love Luxembourg.
