Pacific Overlook Lodge tiene increíbles vistas panorámicas de la playa de Winema, a 10 minutos al sur de Pacific City y a 10 minutos al norte de Neskowin. No es necesario planificar en torno a los patrones climáticos temperamentales de la costa de Oregón: disfrute de las vistas al mar en la cubierta o desde el calor de la cabina. Camina por el camino y explora nuestra playa vacía. Esta propiedad es el lugar perfecto para que toda la familia se relaje y reconecte.

Pase la semana en nuestra escapada tranquila para utilizar nuestra cubierta y áreas de estar para sumergirse en el Océano Pacífico. Puestas de sol, observación de tormentas y observación de ballenas: lo tenemos todo. A nuestro vecindario le gusta apagar las luces de nuestro porche por la noche para permitir una experiencia de observación de estrellas.

Esta cabina cuenta con impresionantes vistas, paredes de cedro y detalles modernos actualizados para ayudar a crear la mejor experiencia costera. Espacio habitable primario y un dormitorio ubicado arriba. Hay una gran chimenea de leña en la sala principal para las noches de tormenta, además de un televisor inteligente. En la planta baja hay una sala de estar secundaria / sala de juegos y dos dormitorios adicionales. La sala de juegos incluye TV, futbolín, mesa de cartas y muchos juegos de mesa.

Hay ciervos, pájaros, conejos, focas y ballenas que se presentan regularmente en Winema. ¡Esperamos que disfrutes verlos tanto como nosotros! Toallas de playa, tablas de surf y sillas plegables están disponibles para uso de los huéspedes.

Expansive view

Amazing view. A row of houses between house and ocean but not obstructive. Stayed many times at the coast, this was the best ocean view we have had. We expected the tricky traverse down to the beach based on reviews. I would not recommend trying at high tide as the waves come up over the rock you have to climb down.. Great quiet location in a residential neighborhood. Groceries/stores/restaurants were 10-15 minute drive either way. Well stocked, plenty of room for our fam of 5. Lots of stairs to the house but no bother at all for us. Worth it for the view!

Fabulous views

We stayed for Thanksgiving - four adults and one 8-year-old. The house has a great deck with fantastic views. The bedrooms were as advertised, the beds comfortable & linens clean. The bathrooms were adequate although the heat in the upstairs bathroom didn't work (I don't know about the downstairs bathroom as the only shower was upstairs).Where this rental left us disappointed was the kitchen. Granted, we were cooking probably more than the average renter as it was Thanksgiving. But, that said, it didn't excuse the cleanliness of the kitchen or the fact that 2 of the 4 burners on the stovetop did not work. The oven had foil in the bottom that was covered in burnt food, the oven racks had food crusted on them and the whole oven had to be cleaned before we could use it. We made do with the 2 burners as it seemed ridiculous to call someone out on a holiday just to make our lives easier. We found many dishes / mugs / pots in the cupboards that were dirty - they had visible food stuck on them and had to be washed before we used them. All that said, the kitchen was an inconvenience that didn't ruin our trip but definitely made me consider if I'd stay at this particular house again.Beach access - the trail to the beach was a bit steep and over rocks, so we drove about 3 minutes to the beach access area. The beach is fantastic! A wonderful beach for walking and beachcombing.

Family adventure at the beach

Nice place. Clean. Too many stairs. No way to open the lower outside door. Nice out of the way neighborhood. Too hard to walk to the beach. Good communication with host. Overall a good stay.

Review

The property is located ~10-15 minute drive from Neskowin. The view of the ocean is nice, but a bit windy as you are elevated. The deck is nice to sit on. The neighborhood is quiet. However, there is not immediate beach access as advertised on the pictures. In fact, the picture with the buoys is very steep and you have to climb down rock to get to the beach. The alternative path to the beach is ~1.5 mile walk. Needless to say, the beach is not close and you have to drive if you are carry any items. This was perhaps the most disappointing part. The house still requires some updating and probably needs a deep clean. The towels were musty and need replacement.

Oregon Coast Gem

My friend and i brought our teen sons to the coast for a long weekend and this stay was perfect. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, beautiful sweeping views, it is very comfortable and clean. There are two ways to get down to the beach, neither would be good for someone with mobility issues, but not an issue at all for us. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Only a 15 drive to Cape Kiwanda as well. We loved it here.

Beautiful Beach House!

We had a fantastic time. The panoramic views from this home are priceless. The trek down the beach is fun, and a bit adventurous especially for the kids :). Very private, quiet beach to enjoy and very quiet neighborhood. We didn't want to leave!

Great house with plenty of room and fantastic views!! Close to beaches and Pacific city! Fully stocked everything, tons of toys and games for our kiddos which they loved! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

Beautiful views, lots of stairs

We were visiting family nearby. The neighborhood is quiet, beach is accessible via a steep path and a rope walk. The house is clean, the deck view is stunning. You should know, though, that there are 28 steps up from the driveway to the entrance and another 12 inside to the main living area. Would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems or small children, and for carrying groceries or luggage. The stairs to the entrance were not even mentioned in the description.

Fun stay!

The house was really clean and the view of the ocean is amazing! Property listed with beach access, but we didn't feel safe going down to the beach with the rocks/cliff that we would have had to go down. But, there were lots of games and my kids had fun at the house. :-)

AMAZING

Home was exactly as advertised and was so well stocked we didn’t need half of the things we packed. The stairs look intimidating but really weren’t too bad. Views were heavenly and the beach access was easily managed by not only adults but also my 10 year old. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Perfect for girls trip

We had our annual girls trip out on the Oregon coast this year, and this place was amazing! We had 6 adults and we had plenty of space to spread out. The views from the deck were amazing and the kitchen was nicely stocked. We would definitely return if we make it back out this way.

Nice location, house needs TLC

The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to the ocean with good views. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking. Our daughter had a great time playing Foosball with anyone who would play. Privacy was nice with upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. Like many places on the coast, the house is well worn and fairly musty from wind and rain. The overall layout of the house is awkward and cramped, which is no fault of the owners, just the original designers. The somewhat ragtag and cluttered assortment of furniture in the living room makes the space feel even smaller than it is. The deck is beautiful but could use more furniture other than one good Adirondack chair and one broken one. The house could use a deep cleaning, there were still some plastic water bottles, toys, and dust bunnies under the large couch. There is no yard to speak of, what little flat space there is around the house was overgrown with tall grass and weeds. The closest access to the beach just a few hundred meters down the road is over steep rocks with patches covered in algae. This was inaccessible for the grandparents and little kids. Overall the house was too expensive considering its condition and cleanliness compared to many of the other houses we've rented over the last 10 years on the Oregon coast in areas like Yachats and Bandon.

We had a great experience at this property! At home and the views are fantastic.

This home provided everything our family needed for a four day getaway. We enjoyed the home, the amazing views and seeing the whales in the evening. Although we had very little downtime, the property offered puzzles, board games and movies to bring our family together. Lincoln City and Pacific City are only a short 10 to 15 minute drive, so we recommend stopping in one of those communities for groceries before coming to the house.

Outstanding Home and View

There were four of us who traveled to the Oregon wine country in September 2021 and we stayed at this beautiful home for two nights. The home was very comfortable, well equipped and the view was breathtaking. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Cozy little beach house!!

As a family that enjoys a vacation with equal parts adventure & relaxation, this place was great!! The home is in a cute little neighborhood right outside Pacific City (under 5 miles away)….Our adventure took us there to enjoy a beer & a burger at the Pelican Brewing Company, hang out on the beach & watch the surfers, climb a giant sand dune, & enjoy a couple of delicious meals (including an amazing seafood boil….if you’re into that sorta thing) at The Oar House. As for relaxing part, the beach house was well equipped with all the things you need to make you feel right at home. The beds were super comfy. The view of the ocean…spectacular! We enjoyed exploring the beautiful, practically private beach. We spent a rainy day sipping some of the local wine & beer while watching some of our favorite movies from the provided collection of classics. The foosball table was also a hit & sparked some pretty intense competition ;) This home had everything we were looking for to make our family vacay a memorable one!

Beautiful views from a cozy house

Upon arrival we instantly felt at home here. The house was very cozy and had everything we could have wanted -- a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware, throws, nice sheets, and all the basics. The foosball table was fun, and they had a nice assortment of games. The biggest star, though, was the view(s). The only thing I might have liked clarified in the listing was that the "beach access" trail (which is lovely) leads to rocks that felt too hazardous to climb across to get to the sandy beach. It was a beautiful place to stand and look at the ocean though, and the walk to the beach was only .8 mile and pleasant. We had to communicate several times with Grace and Mike, and they were always gracious and very quick to respond.
