Welcome to our cosy Victorian stone cottage in the heart of Fortuneswell, on the scenic island of Portland in Dorset. This charming home-from-home is set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers the perfect base for exploring the Jurassic Coast.
With three bedrooms across three floors, our lovingly restored 1870s cottage combines original features with modern comforts—including fast WiFi, central heating, and smart TVs. From the top-floor bedroom, enjoy sweeping sea views over Lyme Bay. We’re within walking distance of Chesil Beach, local pubs, cafes, and the South West Coast Path.

Bedroom 2 (First Floor): Twin beds with hanging rail—great for kids or friends.

All beds are made up with fresh, quality linen for your arrival.

We chose Portland because it’s wild, dramatic and completely captivating — and a little different from the usual seaside spots. The community is welcoming, the views are epic, and the sea air does something magical to the soul (and the sleep!). Whether it's a windswept walk on Chesil Beach, a lazy paddleboard on a still morning, or a post-sauna stretch on the cliffs, there’s something special about this place that keeps drawing people back.
