Ocean View Apartment at Portland está situado en la cima del acantilado y al lado del camino costero. Impresionantes vistas al mar desde las ventanas panorámicas en el salón y la cocina. Balcón, completo con mesa y 4 sillas, con magníficas vistas panorámicas al mar, ideal para desayunos perezosos, almuerzos o cenas románticas, viendo magníficas puestas de sol.
Duerme 4 en 2 habitaciones, 1 doble y 2 camas individuales. Las instalaciones incluyen lavadora, horno, nevera, congelador, microondas, vajilla, cubertería, vasos, etc. Televisor de pantalla plana, equipo de música, plancha y tabla de planchar. Como este es el lugar perfecto para "alejarse de todo", no tenemos wifi (sin embargo, hay abundantes cafés, bares, hoteles, etc. dentro del área que ofrecen instalaciones wifi si realmente necesita mantenerse en contacto)

Lo sentimos, pero NO PODEMOS aceptar estancias de una sola noche: estadía mínima de 3 noches y esto es DESCONECTADO solo entre octubre y marzo.

My family had a wonderful week in Liz's place on the Isle of Portland! My kids (ages 8 and 9) adored the place--the fun nautical decor, the beautiful sea views, and the spacious and comfortable living area that had fun kids books and games. It was a wonderful place to get away from it all, just a stone's throw from beautiful cliffside walks along the South West Coastal Path, but only a short car ride from fun beachside attractions. Highly recommended!

Flat is poorly maintained. Notes on blinds say don't raise/lower making it difficult to open windows, large stain on carpet has been there at least 2 years, false drawer front under sink fell off when cupboard door beneath was opened and Host tried to charge us for it, broken clothes airer, grill pan rack too large making it difficult to grill food, bedroom & balcony doors difficult to close. Bulbs/remote control batteries not replaced when not working. Cleaning & facilities: Only 1 black bin liner supplied, part used toilet roll for a 14 night stay. No sponge for washing up. Dust & cobwebs, windows smeared & water splashes on the inside, dirty toaster & coffee machine, dirty rubber seal in washer, dusty remains of a toilet roll behind bedroom drawers. Unsure why bedding & towels not provided post Covid as they were before. Other issues: The neighbour in ground floor flat beneath lit a wood fire on 2 nights around midnight filling the flat with smoke forcing us to close windows on hot nights. Smoke, fumes & sparks rose up to our level. They were drinking & playing loud music until at least 3 am. Our neighbour, Liz's brother, across the landing, was obviously keeping an eye on us. He was able to look into the flat & was seen looking up at the flat multiple times. We felt uncomfortable & didn’t feel welcome. The area is awful. It's messy, junk dumped in gardens & looks like a war zone. This was our 4th visit & were disappointed to be accused of leaving the flat in a dirty state

Such a great stay

The hosts were great, communication excellent and really helpful when I sent a message to them. Really could not have been better. Amazing views from the flat, right on the coastal path. Flat clean and tidy with everything you need. Thank you

Absolutely amazing!

This property is absolutely stunning. The views are to due for. The property is spacious and decor is cute for the location. Beds are very comfortable. Balcony is a positive bonus on top of an already positive space!

Stunning sea view

We enjoy our stay in the apartment very much. View from the kitchen & lounge was stunning, and there was a small balcony where we could enjoy the sea view, dinner and sunset. Both bedrooms were spacious; parking was easy plenty of parking space next to the building; Liz is very friendly and helpful, very good communications and fast responses before and after arrival, we left our coats in the apartment when checking out and Liz helped to post them back to us. Thank you

Ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Ausflugsziele

Wir waren sehr angetan von der ruhigen Lage der Wohnung mit dem wunderbaren Meerblick. Entspricht voll der Beschreibung. Wifi sollte es zwar geben, wir sind aber nicht damit klar gekommen. Bettwäsche scheint je nach Buchungsportal nicht inbegriffen zu sein. Diese wurde uns aber ohne Probleme von der Vermieterin zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir werden gerne bei Gelegenheit wieder kommen.

Beautiful view

Stunning views of the water, fun nautical decor, very clean. Liz was very responsive and helpful. Take note that you must bring your own linens. I missed that under the Covid disclosures. Liz arranged for us to rent linens for £20 so it worked out.

Stunning property, perfect for us.

An amazing place, the views and location need to be seen to be believed. Beautifully presented and staring out to sea and watching the birds at breakfast time was very special. Owners were very helpful and John, next door, was also extremely helpful and friendly. Our only complaint was that we only had three nights, could have had three weeks! Hopefully we'll be back for a longer stay soon.

Schöne Ferienwoche mit Meerblick

Wir haben in dieser hübschen Wohnung zu viert eine wundervolle Woche verbracht. Der Blick vom Balkon in Richtung Sonnenuntergang ist wirklich großartig. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und zugleich geschmackvoll. Leider stand bei fewo-direkt nichts davon, dass man seine Bettwäsche und Handtücher selber mitbringen soll. Die Vermieterin hat sich dann aber schnell und unkompliziert darum gekümmert, dass wir gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis doch Wäsche haben konnten. Dass das Geschirr nicht besonders sauber war, konnten wir leicht selber beheben. Zum Bummeln oder Ausgehen gibt es in der direkten Umgebung nichts - aber das war uns beim Blick auf die Landkarte schon vorher klar.

Portland Holiday

We had a wonderful stay at the flat in Portland. Driving up to the property we were a bit worried about what we would find. However, when we got into the flat itself we were amazed. It is a lovely size, very smart, clean and comfortable and the views are absolutely spectacular. The property itself had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It also has direct access to the coastal path so perfect for walking and exploring. It was also a very easy drive to Weymouth where there are lots of shops and a very sandy beach. The people were very friendly and the history of Portland is fascinating. We enjoyed our stay - thank you.

Fantastic location with amazing views.

Great place to stay as a base for exploring Dorset. The property is set in a dead end and far from a main road so was very peaceful. All the basics you need were available and the incredible sea view makes it a super place to stay.

Super Ausblick

Der Ausblick auf das Wasser ist unschlagbar! Die Wohnung selbst sehr sauber, schön und mit allem Nötigen geschmackvoll ausgestattet. WLAN gibt es mittlerweile auch. Wir waren vermutlich die einzigen Touris in der Umgebung, denn das Mehrfamilienhaus liegt in einem reinen Wohngebiet (ohne Supermarkt, Restaurant in der Nähe) Ein Auto halten wir daher für unbedingt empfehlenswert. Kein Problem für uns, es hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Die Vermieterin antwortet sehr schnell. Ihr freundlicher Bruder, der nebenan wohnt, kann man bei Fragen immer ansprechen. Danke John!

The second floor flat is on the very edge of an ex naval estate, but it fronts straight onto the cliff with stunning ocean views. The area is very quiet, and perfect for those who want to walk, bird watch, cliff climb etc.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The sunsets from the balcony are absolutely fantastic - a peaceful evening with a glass of wine to 'while away the time' - what could be better.
