¡Nuestra acogedora casa es bastante pintoresca por dentro y por fuera! Originalmente construido en 1938 y renovado en 2017. Tenemos una habitación disponible para que pueda recostarse, y el sofá también es un sofá-cama. La habitación puede dormir cómodamente a dos personas. Es ideal para aquellos que buscan un lugar cómodo y completamente privado para alojarse cerca de todas las mejores atracciones del espacio del armario para poner sus artículos personales, cama Queen Tempurpedic, mesitas con lámparas y un baño con conexión. Moved out of our house while having floors redone and went back to Benson, our old stomping grounds.Cute and cozy place, well appointed for cooking. Close to lots of restaurants and bars and our favorite coffee shop.

Perfect Spot

Just as described. In a great neighborhood that we could take a walk in the morning! Everything worked great and was comfy! Close to all the things we needed to do! College World Series, high school baseball tournament in Bellevue, Old Market etc. Downtown Benson was cute as well as Blackstone area! Thanks for sharing your Roost!

When another property alerted me that I couldn't stay there for all of my dates, I found Robert's Roost for my entire duration. The little house had everything that I needed and some things that I didn't know that I needed. I love the history behind it. The owners were very friendly and quick to answer questions. The attention to detail was apparent in every room.

Where do I even start? First, the owners are spectacular friendly hosts. So very accommodating. This lil house is so unbelievably decorated and cozy, you literally suck your breath in when you open the door and see inside. I had booked for two nights, but was able to extend an extra night, which saved me!!! Definitely my go to place anytime I’m in Omaha. An added bones... they have a gorgeous dog named Teva that will melt your heart with here sky blue eyes❤️

Excellent Place and Owners

Please direct any questions of less than 5 stars to software and systems as I feel like the owners of the property were truly caught off guard by our arrival. Loved staying here for our first trip away from home together. Response to our arrival was immediate and much appreciated after our drive out. So nice having a place to stay and feel like we had amenities you can’t find at a hotel. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, dishes, spices, coffee, and a clean refrigerator in the kitchen. The previous guest left behind a bunch of flower petals, and pizza sauce & crumbs but I don’t blame the owners. They were really nice and I’ll stay again when my girl wants to revisit the gem of a restaurant we discovered. We had fun playing “Sxxx on your neighbor” with the 2 card decks in the living room when not checking out the museums and gardens.

Delightful little place!

We were in town for a youth baseball tournament and found this was a great location to get to all the tourist sites and fields!! Nice, clean, cozy place that we felt safe and welcomed!! It is small but with the owner keeping it uncluttered we had plenty of room and didn’t feel cramped... way better than a hotel for sure... and plenty of room on the big deck to hang out and enjoy the fireflies!!

Perfect Lovation in Omaha with everything you need

This property was just perfect. It was just myself and teenage son on the short trip but plenty of room with a full kitchen if you like to cook. The best thing about the property was the bed. It was the most comfortable bed I have ever self in and I have stayed at many 5 star hotel and this matches it and beats it. Don’t hesitate to book this perfect house. Can’t rave about it enough.

Wonderful place to stay in Omaha. Nice location, within (long) walking distance to Benson downtown for restaurants and nite life, but still close to everything Omaha has to offer. Quite neighborhood, comfortable bed, no problem sleeping. Very comfortable, well stocked and well maintained cottage for 2, (max 3). We will be back!

Aly & Zach are great hosts. Robert's Roost is adorable. All the little homey touches were inside this renovated home. Since we were there during the College World Series it was great to be able to sit outside on the back deck in a wooded setting and relax. Overall we would recommend highly.

We stayed at Robert's Roost for a weekend getaway and it was awesome. The Roost was beautifully decorated, clean, and stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and appliances. The area was very quiet, and we were able to sleep in late and relax. We especially loved the Chromecast. We stream TV and movies from home, and we easily connected our laptop to the system. Aly also provided an iPhone with apps preloaded (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) so if you have accounts you could stream from there instead. We had a great time and truly appreciate you sharing your tiny farmhouse with us!

My husband and I both grew up here in Omaha. We both have lived in other states and in other countries. We met when we moved back to the states. and have been together for 5 years.

Welcome to the Robert’s Roost,
Here is a short history of the Robert’s Roost:
Built in 1938 this house was originally erected to be a large chicken coop. The house next door to the East (where your lovely Airbnb host’s live ;) was the main farmhouse. The original owner of these two properties was known city wide for their chickens. The city nicknamed him “The Chicken Man”. You would pull up to the coop and pick your chicken. From there “The Chicken Man” would chop, pluck, and bag your chicken for you and send you on your way!
While renovating the Robert’s Roost in 2017, we found a message in bottle from the original owners and builders of this dwelling. We framed the message and it can be found by the front door of the house.
We are so happy that you chose our spot and hope you enjoy and appreciate the history. We hope you have a relaxing stay and can embrace the small farmhouse feel, while still having the convenience of the city around you.
