Yellow #3: Cozy 1 bedroom apartment.

Welcome to Yellow #3! A bright and cozy one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and large bathroom. Enjoy easy access to all areas of Omaha or stay in and relax in an apartment all to yourself! Includes wifi access and activities for all ages! Perfect for both those who enjoy a quiet neighborhood as well as those that enjoy being close to the bustling city life.

This apartment is in a historic home so you will have your usual quirks that come with an older home.

Property Details: Please note, there are stairs leading up to the house and up to the apartment.

This one bedroom apartment is a mixture of old architecture and modern updates. It is an upstairs apartment with two other units in the building (one across the hall and another downstairs). All three units have their own locked door so you will not be bothered by anyone else during your stay.

Street parking in front of the house is available to all guests. The street becomes "one-way" during school pick up and drop off and other than that is always pretty quiet.

This place was lovely! I'm only giving it four stars instead of five because I want to alert future guests that quite a lot of stair-climbing is required to access this flat. Equivalent to 3 flights. For me, however, that was a plus. Thanks to the owners for a cozy time in the deep of winter!

A lot smaller than I expected. I am a big cook and need space, so that wasn't an option. No issues with plumbing or electricity is always a plus. It was tidy enough The stairs killed me, lol. Love the location. I'd rent again.

Small but big enough for us apartment. If you can't do stairs, this isn't the place for you. Host were great communicators. My son enjoyed the oatmeal and the snacks left. This was a great place for a quick vacay.

Perfect size for a weekend visit, parking on street was easy. Neighborhood appeared a bit sketchy but thankfully was safe and quiet. Not walkable to downtown which I had hoped but appreciated the reasonable price compared with very expensive hotel rooms

Quiet and cozy

Our stay here was just what we were looking for; nothing fancy but everything needed. Well supplied (even a few goodies), quiet and cozy. There are several steps up to the apartment so not it’s not for someone that cannot do steps, but for us it was great. We stayed here because we were in town for a running race. We had everything we needed to cook pasta and enjoy a movie on TV. There’s window units to keep you cool, which we liked because it also provided white noise for sleeping but even without that the place was super quiet.

Quiet and cozy

Worked great for our short stay in Omaha. Easy access. Lots of stairs, but we are able so it was fine. Quiet neighborhood and good location in the city. A bit warm so we had to constantly run the window A/C units, but can’t control the weather! Thanks!

Bed Bugs

Sadly there were bed bugs that I found when I arrived so I didn’t stay. I contacted VRBO customer service and have been working with them regarding this. The area is not super great and the property is in a very old building with its quirks. There is street parking but you have to walk up a very long stair case to even get to the house. Overall extremely disappointed and had to pay for a hotel last minute.

Quirky and convenient

Loved the vintage charm and didn’t mind climbing the stairs at all. Convenient and quick to get to Charles Schwab stadium and plenty of good eats.

Don't do it.

We did not stay - the pictures do absolutely no justice to the place. It smelled terrible and we simply could not stay. We did not feel safe staying. The floors were bowed and the entry door to apartment was so poorly sealed that light shone through. We ended up getting a motel room instead. So disappointed.

Great experience.

Hosts contacted me to get some details. They communicated expectations as well as keys etc. While there the place was great. Anything needed was provided for. It was safe and clean and we felt at home during our stay.
