Visit wonderful Como by staying at HOME N.5 Como Downtown, right in the historic center, just a few meters from the great Piazza Cavour and 1 minute from the city's lakefront!

This recently renovated one-bedroom apartment, located in an elegant building in the heart of Como, is tastefully and creatively furnished, where the choice of original pieces, such as the chest of drawers and caramel-colored armchairs, give the house a vintage soul. 

The cozy living room has a TV area, with a comfortable sofa and armchair where you can read a book and relax after a day of sightseeing. The sofa becomes a double bed for the night (Please note: The sofa bed will not be prepared as a bed for your arrival, as we deem it proper to use it as a sofa during the day. You will find the bed linen, pillows and blankets in the wardrobe/shelf closest to the sofa.).

Behind it, there is the beautiful marble dining table for 4 people where you can have lunch and dinner together. Next to it, the separate kitchen is modern and complete, equipped with everything you need to cook like at home and with a convenient counter with stools for breakfasts and quick snacks.

The bedroom is a double bedroom, large and furnished with an armchair and a chest of drawers for storing your wardrobe.

The apartment concludes with a bathroom with bathtub also equipped with a private washing machine.



Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. 

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

Any commercial activity within the apartment is prohibited.



The apartment has no parking available. Guests can easily reach the apartment by using the city's public transportation, or by paying parking outside the walled city.

What's nearby: 

HOME No. 5's location allows you to visit the entire city center on foot. In 1 minute it is possible to reach Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which it is possible to take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna). In 1 minute you can also reach Piazza Duomo and its Broletto, and shopping streets such as Via Vittorio Emanuele. Other squares to visit are only a 5-minute walk away, such as Piazza San Fedele and Piazza Volta, the latter of which has become in recent years a major meeting point for the city's evening life with its many restaurants and bars.

Also on foot, or by renting city bikes, one can reach Villa Olmo and its park by taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by riding along the lakefront Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno is also the Funicular station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse.



How to arrive: 

By car, from the A9 highway take the Como Centro exit and drive along Via Pasquale Paoli, Via Napoleona and Viale Innocenzo to reach the center, or take the Como Lago exit and drive along Via per Cernobbio and Via Borgovico Nuova.

Park in the blue parking lots (paid from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) or in the city's parking garages (Autosilo Parcheggio Centro Lago, Autosilo Valduce, etc.).

By train, from Como San Giovanni station take bus C70/ C10/C28/N4 and get off at "Como - Lungolago Trento" stop: in 3 minutes walk you will reach the apartment.
