Perched on the hillside above the fantastic Kalamaki Beach, Villa Katostrato Beach is well placed for days on the sand. Locally, there are a few tavernas a stroll away. You can also head to the village of New Perithia, just a 3 minute drive from the villa. Here you’ll find a couple of mini markets for essentials as well as some restaurants. A few minutes further in the car takes you to the laid back resort of Agios Spyridon, with its charming beaches and eateries. If you fancy a livelier setting, try Kassiopi. The largest town in northern Corfu, it features a buzzing harbour and a great selection of bars, shops and eating establishments, just 7 minutes’ drive away. To see the traditional Corfu and sample rustic cuisine from the island, the formerly abandoned village of Old Perithia is now full of authentic tavernas and less than 30 minutes’ drive up the hillside.
