The Space:
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, Lime Tree House is the ideal spot. Sleeping up to four guests, it’s the perfect place for couples, families and small groups of friends. With a spacious living room, kitchen diner, two bedrooms, an ensuite shower room and a family bathroom, you’ll have everything you could need for a self-catering stay in Holme.

In the separate utility room, you'll find a large fridge freezer, as well as the washing machine and tumble dryer
The living room offers character and charm in spades. Boasting a vaulted ceiling and original beams, this space has a traditional cottage feel. Gather your loved ones together and cosy up on the velvet sofa and armchair. Turn on the TV and keep up with your favourite shows on Freeview or streaming apps.
Head to the master bedroom and you’ll find a relaxing space. Every care has been taken to ensure you have a comfortable night's sleep as the king size bed benefits from plush bedding and premium bed linens. You’ll have ample space to store your belongings as there is hanging space, a chest of drawers and bedside tables. The second bedroom at Lime Tree House also has a king size bed. A wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps complete the space.
A luxurious sofa bed can be made up on the living room upon request prior to your arrival, increasing the occupancy of Lime Tree House to six.
In between the bedrooms is the family bathroom. Boasting a modern bathtub, separate walk-in shower, WC and wash basin, you’ll be able to enjoy a relaxing cleanse or refreshing soak.

Nearby Carnforth was just perfect for Oscar-winning director, Sir David Lean, when he chose the town’s railway station to film the most iconic scenes for his 1945 classic Brief Encounter, described as one of the greatest romantic films of all time. All these years on, you can watch the film in Carnforth station heritage centre at Carnforth railway station - winner of the 2019 tourism award! The heritage centre offers exhibitions, regular events and a gift shop. You can even take your picture under the famous clock which featured so prominently.
Carnforth is home to many independent shops but if outdoor pursuits are more your style, Warton Crag overlooks Carnforth.

Kirkby Lonsdale is market town that was voted as the best place to live in 2022. Here you'll find lots of small independent shops and plenty of bars, along with restaurants. All in all this is a very popular location locally.
Head to Ingleton to enjoy a waterfall walk and Ingleborough, or visit Greenlands where there are a range of things to do for families including soft play and crazy golf. You'll also find an hour-long walk down the canal, or alternatively you can take the bus route for a pleasant round trip.
