Sunlight is a charming studio located in the upper area of Menaggio, boasting spectacular lake views while being close to all the main services. It is a studio in a condominium setting.

Sunlight consists of an entrance that opens onto a bright living area with a kitchenette, equipped with all the necessary appliances for cooking. The living area overlooks a beautiful terrace with a lake view, furnished for enjoying outdoor evenings surrounded by greenery. The bathroom is complete with a shower and washing machine, next to which is a staircase leading to the loft, used as a double bedroom. The apartment can accommodate 2 people and is equipped with heating, air conditioning, TV, and WiFi.

Upon request, baby beds are available at an additional cost. Additionally, extra cleaning services and bed linen changes are available at an additional cost.

Menaggio is a charming town located on the picturesque shores of Lake Como. One of Menaggio\'s highlights is its beautiful lakeside promenade, offering breathtaking views. Take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the lake. Outdoor enthusiasts will find a sort of paradise in Menaggio. The surrounding area offers a myriad of activities, from hiking and mountain biking in the nearby mountains to water sports such as sailing, kayaking, and paddle boarding on the lake. Nature lovers will also appreciate the abundance of hiking trails leading to breathtaking viewpoints, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural beauty of Lake Como. Menaggio is also a starting point for exploring other towns and villages around Lake Como. You can easily take a ferry to visit Bellagio, Varenna, or Tremezzo, each offering its own charm and characteristic attractions.

GETTING AROUND

For the convenience of our guests, we suggest arriving by car, but you can also use public transportation. The ASF Autolinee C10 bus line connects Menaggio to Como and other towns along the lake, and the bus stop is close to the property. From the pier, a local ferry service will take you to Como, Bellagio, Varenna, and other towns on the lake. Please note that during high season, there may be long queues at the ticket office. Tickets can also be purchased online on the Navigazione Laghi website. There is also a ferry that transports cars. From Como San Giovanni station, there are regular trains to Milan Central and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). From Como Nord Lago, there is a railway connection to Milan Cadorna. The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. A shuttle service can be arranged to and from the airport at an additional cost. TIPS

We recommend spending a day exploring the wonderful towns around the lake. Como city is the urban center of the area, but the towns are gems with beautiful villas on the lake.

When moving around and strolling along Lake Como, especially in small towns, it is necessary to wear comfortable shoes.

There are many public drinking water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless otherwise indicated. Tap water is also drinkable. You can bring your reusable bottle!

If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and still want to enjoy mountain views, the Greenway of Lake Como is an easy-to-follow path that connects the lake towns from Colonno to Griante and does not require too many climbs. A bus will take you to the starting point in Colonno.

Look for traditional restaurants where you can taste local foods, such as Lake Como fish dishes.

In Italy, many shops (especially small ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be sure to plan your shopping accordingly.

Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. However, for those who want to take a dip in the water, there are some options. There is a beach (lido) in Menaggio. Residents and visitors also love to visit Nesso, where the bravest swimmers can dive into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall. The Lido di Bellagio and the pebbly beach of San Giovanni await those who want to travel and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio, which is located between the two branches of Lake Como.

Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding Prealps may not seem very high, but the climate is still influenced by the nearby mountains and temperatures can change rapidly. Pay particular attention to weather conditions during hikes and bring warm and waterproof clothing!
