Acerca de este alojamiento
The Old Tractor Shed, Cheltenham - sleeps 12 guests in 5 bedrooms
Simple elegance meets rustic charm when it comes to this cosy Cotswold hideaway. Situated in the heart of Gloucestershire, and just a stone's throw from Cheltenham, where centuries of history lie waiting to be discovered, The Old Tractor Shed is your bolthole for an unforgettable Cotswold stay. Whether you're an avid walker, keen cyclist or seasoned foodie, this special spot offers the best of both town and country life.
Set over two floors, The Old Tractor Shed welcomes you with a light, airy entrance hall before you're met with a charming living/dining area that forms the beating heart of the home. Here, a dining table for twelve sits under a thick beam that only adds to the charm of this place - complete with a bar and open fireplace, this majestic room only gets better. The kitchen is bright, airy and classically Cotswolds complete with a breakfast table and ample space for rustling up local produce or sipping on organic cider from nearby farm shop and taproom, Dunkertons. Spend evenings in the sitting room, perching in front of the finely crafted wood burner - the most comfortable spot to sink into a book or chat with friends and family to the sound of crackling flames.
Just a few footsteps from the property lies direct access to the breathtaking Cotswold Way, which you can follow for miles of majestic walks through The Cotswolds' symphony of scenic woodlands, weaving pathways and vast common land. When you get peckish, grab a drink and food at one of the glorious pubs in the area where popular spots include Winchcombe, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water - all within a short distance from The Old Tractor Shed.

Entrance Hall:
Wander through the light-drenched entrance hall and you'll find a white Belfast sink and plenty of useful cupboards for storing all those holiday essentials.
Cloakroom:
The ground floor cloakroom has a WC and hand basin perfect for freshening up after long walks.
Living/Dining Area:
The Old Tractor Shed's living/dining area is the heart of this considered hideaway. The natural light flooding in through the floor to ceiling windows with french doors amplifies the neutral and stylish decor. This magnificent space also features a bold and bright bar right by the open fire place. Even in its most contemporary moments, the building's heritage never seems far away - the room proudly flaunts its original exposed beams. The perfect spot to gather together, the dining table is the centrepiece of the vast room - complete with twelve spaces for everyone to enjoy some local delights.
The Snug:
Ambient evenings await with The Old Tractor Shed's welcoming snug/sitting room, where a wood burner crackles away and a large three-seater sofa and two armchairs invite you to rest and relax in good company.
Kitchen:
The bright and cheery kitchen features flagstone floors and chic cabinets, with plenty of space to cook up a storm. There is a delightful breakfast table to display your morning croissants and pour fresh coffee.

First Floor
Bedroom One:
In bedroom one, you'll find a grand super-king size bed punctuated by a slate blue headboard, which lends this room regal elegance. Rustic beams, two bedside tables and a generous window sign off bedroom one on a high note.
En-suite
Find sanctuary in bedroom one's sparkling en-suite - your space for revitalisation come day or night. Featuring a WC, hand basin and shower, there's also a bath apt for a luxurious evening soak.
Bedroom Two:
Stepping into bedroom two, you'll instantly feel at ease thanks to its cloud white walls, rustic beams and a plush super-king size bed that create a peaceful nest to return to as the sun sinks over the Gloucestershire skyline.
Bathroom:
Fresh, light and airy, we love the chic feel to The Old Tractor Shed's bathroom, equipped with a bath, shower, WC and hand basin that'll have you indulging in a little TLC after long days exploring the Cotswolds AONB.
Bedroom Three:
Serene and tranquil, bedroom three is the most peaceful of places to bed down for the night. Cast in neutral tones and accented by leaf print artwork, there's a sumptuous king-size bed, two bedside tables and elegant reading lights that give this room a glow.
Bedroom Four
This fabulous king-size bed has sophisticated details and a muted pink theme. There is a dressing table where you can read or set up a laptop if needed and a chest of drawers for storage. Above, the exposed beams add rustic elegance while the statement headboard is a beautiful addition.
En-suite
With a shower, WC and basin the en-suite gives guests in bedroom four some extra privacy.
Bedroom Five
The bunk beds here are beautifully crafted. A solid wood frame houses two single beds, suitable for adults, creating a cosy nook. There are two further single beds making this a great room for parents to share with younger children. There is a chest of drawers and a colour theme of gentle green hues.
En-suite
The handy en-suite has a shower, WC and basin, ideal for getting the children to brush their teeth before bed.
Outside
Outside The Old Tractor Shed is an enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs just perfect for soaking up afternoon sunshine whilst tucking into farm shop delights. A fire pit adds atmosphere and keeps you warm on cooler evenings and you can also use it for BBQing. Take in the views through the trees across your Cotswold surroundings, perhaps finding inspiration to head out and explore, but we understand if you'd be happy enough just staying here.
