The Space:
Pakhuis aan de Zaan is characterized by its industrial look and classic elements. The apartment totals 60 m2, has several rooms and comes with a private dock for guests who are traveling around by boat. The kitchen is equipped with an American refrigerator, oven and dishwasher. The patio equipped with dining table and chairs, looks like a gallery through the light from above, the artworks on the wall and the modern classic look. With two steps down you are in the beautiful bathroom with double rain shower and Mediterranean floor. Following that you will find the bedroom with a double bed and a spacious walk-in closet, including built-in television. On the second floor is a spacious corner sofa with smart TV. This corner sofa can also be used as a sofa bed (160mx200m).

The Pakhuis aan de Zaan is nestled in the picturesque village of Wormerveer, just a stone's throw away from the bustling metropolis of Amsterdam. From Zaanweg, you'll enjoy unobstructed views of the region's industrial heritage, including the 1893 Rice Mill. Situated in a residential area, the B&B is surrounded by various small businesses, dining establishments, and Wilhelminapark, one of the few private parks in the Netherlands. The vibrant Zaanbocht, located 300 meters away, offers delightful shopping and dining experiences. Just 2 kilometers away lies the iconic Zaanse Schans, a unique village dotted with wooden houses, windmills, barns, and workshops where traditional Dutch products are crafted. The Wormer and Jisperveld Nature Reserve, only 1.5 kilometers away, boasts the largest continuous peat meadow area in Western Europe, renowned for its diverse birdlife and breathtaking hiking and cycling trails. The nearest beach is in Castricum, a 19-kilometer drive away.
