Couples Getaway

Great location.

Property was a great location. The cabin was nice but would use some updating with the furniture and decor. It was VERY dusty. Maybe didn’t have any occupancy for awhile, but the dust was almost unbearable. You could actually see the dust flying in the air. Also cob webs in all the corners. The kitchen felt like there was a film on the counters and stove.

Wonderful Vacation

We loved this house! It was beautiful and just right for our group of 6. The location to restaurants, stores, activities, and the lake was ideal. I would highly recommend staying here if you enjoy all the amenities and ideal location that this house has to offer.

Enjoyable stay in a great location.

Recently rented this home to stay for a nearby family wedding in Friendsville, MD. Home was very nice and in a great location. Some minor cleanliness issues upon arrival that have been reported to Vacasa. Very peaceful and quiet, short distance to shopping center and necessities. Enjoyable stay.

Short Girls Trip

Great location it's close to stores, restaurants and Deep Creek Lake. Cozy wooded back yard and wrap around porch. Plenty of kitchenware, parking spaces and enough space in the house for everyone to be comfortable. We had no issues during our 2 night stay and easy check-out.

Great house with three floors

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We came with two other couples and each of us has our own floor with bedroom and full bath which was great. Enjoyed having pool table and wrap around porch with furniture to enjoy sitting outside. Will definitely stay here if we visit area again.

Very comfortable cabin in a cozy setting

Our group of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay. The set up was ideal with a bedroom and full bath on each floor for each couple. The space was very comfortable and conducive to allow for lots of gathering and socializing together (though the kitchen is very tight). We enjoyed the outdoor deck a lot and appreciated the covered space to be able to enjoy even as it rained. The wooded setting was so private and peaceful. We could hear the party in the cabin next door but only a few times and for brief periods. We loved being able to walk down the road to the stores/shops. There is a well equipped grocery store to meet all of your needs and we really liked the large gift shop with lots to offer. There are some good restaurants very nearby too. We didn't realize, however, that there is no public access to the lake in this area and it requires a significant drive to access it. While the indoors were very clean, everything outside was covered in dirt, pollen, and cobwebs so we had to clean it all ourselves before we could use it. The hot tub was very nice and provided a great place to relax. We appreciated that linens were provided though some additional towels and dishtowels would have been helpful. Be aware that any issues are handled by a large national management company that doesn't really know the property so they weren't able to really offer much assistance such as understanding that the door lock times out which makes it challenging to enter a 10 digit code.

Spectacular

The property in question accurately matched the description provided by Vacasa. Its location on the mountain offered a picturesque view of the slopes, while also being conveniently situated near a grocery store, restaurants, and Wisp Resort. The house itself was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, as depicted in the photographs. We anticipate another enjoyable stay at this property next year.

A Beautiful Get-A-Way

We loved everything about this house. The home is located very close to the slopes, an awesome bakery/coffee shop and grocery store. The size of the home was great with multiple areas for family/friends to stretch out, including the main level and lower level. I loved how the bedrooms were all spread out, with 2 bedrooms upstairs, one bedroom on the main floor and one on the bottom floor. The downstairs is like it's own apartment with an area for visiting and watching TV, as well as a pool table. The downstairs also steps out onto the bottom porch, hot tub and fire pit. We enjoyed using the amenities of 5 Little Acorns when we were not on the slopes, including the hot tub, pool table and fire pit. The home is in a development, however, each home is on it's own large lot with plenty of woods for privacy. There are plenty of large windows, giving a view of the slopes and wooded areas, plenty of outdoor porch spaces for outdoor entertainment, and plenty of televisions in each living space and bedroom. We will definitely be coming again. Thank you, 5 Little Acorns.

Beautifully decorated but disappointing stay

Overall the place was nice. It was very nicely decorated for the season. The attention to detail with regards to the theme was outstanding. We did however encounter several issues within the property that were not appreciated and if I had known of these issues I would have booked elsewhere. Firstly, I contacted the property ahead of time to ensure certain features would be available such as hot tub and grill. The hot tub was functional but the grill was not. I was told to buy a propane tank which I did. Upon inspection of said grill, there was ALREADY a propane tank however the grill's pilot did not light. It was inoperable and the tank itself was $80 which clearly was a waste. When I contacted the property regarding this issue they were not helpful at all. Another very big issue was that the full bathroom on the main level was inoperable as well. This is a huge problem as you might suspect. Not everyone on the trip knew each other and we were expecting 3 full bathrooms and was only able to use 2 of them. Again when I contacted the host, they were not helpful and provided no resolution to our issues. In addition to these very problematic issues, the fireplace on the main level also was inoperable. It really was frustrating that every single day of the trip we found a different issue which brought our rating down significantly. It was most frustrating that the hosts did not attempt to rectify any of these issues or address them at all. Check out is way too early also. Bad time

Great Cabin

Plenty of space in the cabin. They had a lot of cute details like their dinner wear. The kitchen was fully equipped and then some! Wi-fi was excellent. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The cabin has been well taken care of- including the grounds. We most enjoyed the wrap around porch. It’s really close to groceries and restaurants which was so convenient. I would book this cabin again.

Best house ever

This house is just beautiful and in a very quiet location surrounded by trees. Our family of our children and grandchildren had plenty of room to spread out for quiet time, but also had a lovely open concept kitchen and living area for games and spending time just being together. The location is such that it is secluded and yet we were only about .2 miles from Perkins pancakes and a grocery store. There was also a Fun Zone that the grandkids enjoyed nearby. Everyone in our family agreed that this was the best house we have rented for our family vacations! Thank you for sharing your comfortable home, We left with some fantastic memories for all!
