The perfect location for your Deep Creek escape! Enjoy a quiet retreat in this custom-built oasis near the golf course! Amenities galore: ping pong, foosball, arcade HeadsUp poker, hot tub, disc golf, basketball, golf driving net, kids’ tree fort and play room! Relax by the gas fireplace or in the hot tub after a day of hiking or skiing. Easy access to the fun of Deep Creek (<10 min to Herrington/Broadford, 2 min to historic downtown, easy drive to DCL/Swallow Falls/WISP ski resort)!

The space
You’ll have full access to every part of this 4-acre property with a 3-hole disc golf course on site.

The charm of this custom-built home shines from every carefully-planned area:

-Newel post at the bottom of the stairs
came from gazebo in downtown Oakland in the late 1800s
- Arched front porch matches the interior arches in the kitchen and represents the flow of the Youghiogheny River
- Stacked stone indoor gas fireplace carries same arch; represents the flowing river
-Cherry floors and cabinets made from the cherry trees on the property when cleared to build

Work from home as desired in your private office or escape from work playing ping pong, foosball, or darts in the game room.

Golf is across the street! Wisp Ski Area is a short drive, Swallow Falls and Herrington Manor are just two gorgeous State Parks within a few miles. Deep Creek Lake is less than 5 miles. Oakland is 2 minutes away to hit the farmer's market and great shopping or to savor the eclectic food and brewery options. This property is the perfect location for your Deep Creek vacation! Other things to note
4x4 strongly recommended for winter stays. The driveway and surrounding areas are difficult to traverse in wintry weather.

This was a beautiful, clean, stocked, and spacious house! The host was very responsive too. The area was beautiful and everyone we encountered in Oakland was very friendly. The train museum was very cool too! We hope to come back!

Our stay was wonderful! We didn't have the best weather (cold and rainy), but that didn't stop us from having a fabulous time! The house was spacious, cozy, well-kept and perfect for 6 kids and 6 adults. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub were very nice too! The home was well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels and all the basic amenities we needed. The kids really enjoyed the garage and the kid room for their double-night sleepover! Thanks again for your flexibility and accommodations!

This was a great property for a large group with wide age range of kids. The house had everything we needed to have fun and be comfortable, but there were also fun things to do nearby. Kasey was a very responsive and helpful host. We had a great time here and would definitely come back!

Great Host, Great Place!

Took a quick little trip out to this house for the weekend and, wow! Great set up for a group of guys looking to have a get together for a few days and unwind. And the host was fantastic. Communication was great and everything from check-in to check-out was easy as could be.

Perfect getaway!

The home was perfect for a family getaway! We had such a great weekend enjoying the game room, play room, fire pit, and hot tub. We stayed 3 nights and never left the property because everything we needed was there. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of toys and games for the kids and adults and TVs in every room.The host was so nice and very responsive. I definitely recommend this rental!!

Great house.

House was perfect for our stay. Communication w the owners was fast and responsive. AC in room above garage was not working and owner offered help right away. Would definitely stay here next time.

Great Girls Getaway

My group of girlfriends booked this house for a weekend trip and it was perfect. The house was perfect for us. It was quite spacious and also private, set off of the main road. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for a group of friends or a couple of small families!

This house was perfect for a getaway. It had more things to do than we even had time for. The beds were comfortable and we loved the hot tub and outdoor firepit. There was some miscommunication with the cleaning people and the home was not clean when we arrived but they had it taken care of right away and compensated us for it which was greatly appreciated. I don't think this was something that happens often and it would not prevent us from staying again.

Grandbabes loved it

We stayed for 5 days. First few days rainy, but we made the best of it. Once the grandbabes came they didn’t want to leave. There was so much there for them to do. Fireplace was great, house was amazing, kitchen , everything all amazing! The owners were the best ever!!! I prob drive them. It’s with all of my questions. But they answered every single one of them. I highly recommend this house!
It was a little on the cold side and rainy so we were able to enjoy a fire inside.

Comfortable Stay with Thoughtful Hosting and Family Fun

We had such a memorable stay, comfortable, fun, and full of little discoveries. Kasey was an attentive and kind host, and we really appreciated how thoughtfully he handled everything.The house had a lot of charm and great amenities. We played disc golf in the yard, played table tennis a lot, relaxed in the tree fort with the kids, and introduced them to Jaws in the spacious living room, one of those unexpected moments that turns into a core family memory (we did this only after the experience at Deep Creek, not before haha).The location worked really well for us. Being close to downtown Oakland made it easy to grab coffee at Black Hawk, enjoy a delicious lunch at 206 Alder, take out from Tomanetti's and spend time poking through the local antique shop. Wisp and Deep Creek Lake were both a simple drive away, which gave us plenty of options for exploring.When a hiccup came up, Kasey responded quickly and in a way that felt personal and fair. We left feeling well cared for and grateful we chose this spot.

Perfect Micro Wedding Stay!

A huge thank you to Kasey and Lisa for allowing us to hold our intimate micro wedding of abt 30 people at their home. Everything turned out beautifully! We exchanged vows in front of the fireplace and enjoyed some finger foods after. The kids "wing" of the home (in and above the garage) provided ample entertainment for the children ages 4 to 16. Sleds were even available for them to sled ride! My husband and I continued our stay for our mini honeymoon after the wedding celebration. While we were snowed in due to the winter storm passing through Kasey and Lisa addressed any and all concerns quickly that were caused due to the heavy amount of snow and single digit temperatures. Would highly recommend them and their property for you next get away!

Great House for Family Reunion!

The house was easily able to accommodate us, our three grown children, spouses and kids. The central hangout area was perfect for multiple families. There were smaller spaces to go to get some peace. The hot tub was in great condition. The garage had fun games. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, the house clean, but comfy and worn enough that we were not walking on eggshells. There were lots of games, toys, fun climbing wall, books, for the kids. They loved the bunk beds. The location was remote and peaceful with small woods, but close to town and shops. Our hosts quickly delivered a child gate when we needed and were good communicating. Would definitely visit again, perhaps at a warmer time of year, to take advantage of more outdoor activity, as it was cold at Christmas time. We also enjoyed the fireplace and large dining table for games.
