Escapada familiar en el lago cerca del campus de Clemson.

¡Tómate un fin de semana tranquilo junto a la chimenea! Esta casa privada y cómoda del lago está ubicada en una cala apartada en el lago Keowee con un muelle privado con amarres laterales para sus botes y motos de agua. Un montón de habitaciones y baños, además de una cocina abierta y sala de estar con vistas al lago. Se admiten mascotas bien educadas - se requiere aprobación del propietario. Incluye un centro de medios de sonido envolvente en el sótano, así como dos kayaks y dos tablas de remo para explorar el lago. Parrilla de barbacoa de tamaño fiesta y porche de pantalla con vista al lago para las reuniones de su grupo. Alquiler de botes disponible en Lake Keowee Marina, así como alquileres sencillos de más tablas de remo (SUP) con entrega y recogida gratuitas. La pesca en nuestra cala, así como en el resto del lago, es excelente: hay varios cañas de pescar disponibles. Un banco de peces vive en nuestro muelle, donde sus hijos pueden disfrutar de la alimentación. Actualmente tenemos espacio para visitar barcos en el lado de nuestro muelle.

Camas: Master (king), Habitación 1 (king), Habitación, piso principal (litera, doble en la parte inferior, doble en la parte superior), Sofá cama (queen), Dormitorio del sótano (King w / Twin rolllout), Habitación familiar sofá (reina).

Baños: Un baño de tamaño completo tanto en el nivel principal como en el sótano, con duchas completas. Baño principal cuenta con bañera de jardín y ducha de tamaño completo.

Aparcamiento: De dos a cinco coches + remolque de barco.

Muelle: amarre un bote en el costado del muelle y el ascensor de motos acuáticas actualmente es de uso gratuito. El muelle está ubicado en una pendiente suave y fácil desde la casa principal. Profundidad del agua seis pies o más dependiendo del clima

Otras características incluyen: ducha al aire libre para una fácil limpieza, patio en el sótano con área de estar cubierta, sala de almacenamiento con kayaks, chalecos salvavidas (niños de 40 lb y más, adultos) y cañas de pescar, amplia cocina comedor abierta a la sala familiar / panel plano TV, TV satelital (centros de televisión principal y en el sótano), internet inalámbrico en toda la casa, área de comedor con salida a la calle, rejilla grande (cuatro quemadores + quemador lateral), sala de lavandería grande, sala multimedia en el sótano con sonido envolvente.

Barrio: tranquilo, amigable para la familia, amplia área común (una puerta abajo) con área de picnic cubierta (para grupos grandes), área de juegos para niños, rampa para botes y espacio adicional para amarrar botes. Solo para fiestas maduras, envueltas o en casa (sin ruido exterior) a las 10 p.m.

Lovely quiet get away

We have stayed at several homes in the Clemson/Seneca area and this was one of the best. The owners seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible - from lake equipment to a thoughtful stocked kitchen including spices and zip lock bags to power strips in the bedroom. They seem to have thought of everything. If our daughter hadn't graduated we would have definitely stayed there again.

Spacious lake home on quiet Keowee cove

This is a comfortable lakefront home stay with beautiful views and plenty of room to spread out and relax with family and friends, both inside and out. We loved sitting by the lake and listening to all the birds. We had a few April rainy days, but had plenty of puzzles and games to keep us busy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, but it was also an easy drive to Seneca for meals out.

Fun Experience

We were visiting family and this was in a great location. Gorgeous house. So much fun on the lake with the paddleboards. Steve was very helpful and quick to respond. I can't wait to come back here.

Missed potental

The interior layout and space worked well for our multi generation family vacation, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and the beds were comfortable. Pillows should be replaced so you should bring your own. However we were very disappointed in the exterior of the property which was not rental ready and unusable. The screened porch, decks and patio areas were dirty with cobwebs, dirt, pollen and debris from trees. Some of the outdoor furniture was in bad condition and should be removed or replaced.

The property had great water sports equipment . Which we didn’t use because we came for parents weekend at Clemson . There were only 3 towels for three adults for three days. That’s is not enough. The furniture in the sitting rooms needs to be replaced and the pillows on the beds are awful. Needed to be replaced a long time ago.

We loved our vacation at this beautiful home. It had everything we needed for our nine day stay. The dock was easy to access and the fishing was great! We hope to return soon.

Pleasant stay

Back porch was not clean. There was old food u fee the table and it looked like a while since floor had been cleaned. Under the porch on first floor was a disaster.

Clemson Graduation weekend

Great Lake house for our stay to celebrate daughter's graduation. Lots of room and very comfortable. Great view and access to kayaks and paddle boards. We had a great time!

Family Christmas

This is the second year in a row we've held our family Christmas here. The house is perfect for a family gathering. The hosts are very communicative and great to work with. If you have a family gathering to plan, definitely consider here.

Lovely home! Great location!

Beautiful, spacious and well stocked home. The boat ramp was close and the dock was very convenient so we didn’t have to take the boat out of the water everyday. The kitchen had tons of cookware, cutlery, and plates. Bedrooms on all 3 levels made it easy for family to have privacy. Mr. Kraus clearly cares for his home. It was difficult to read his tone when communicating and felt defensive at times hit our stay was pleasant. There is a musty smell in the house and I recommend bringing your own shampoo and toiletries like in most VRBO rentals.

Beautiful home and lake

We had a nice relaxing family vacation. Lake Keowee is very beautiful and surprisingly warm. It was nice to get to tie up our boat to the dock. The home was very nice, as well.

Keowee Lake House

We had a great time. The house is in a great location in the neighborhood, and on the lake. It was nice for our girls to be able to jump in the lake and the area was quiet. The house was very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. The downstairs storage room was a huge bonus for us. We really loved being able use the paddle boards, kayaks, and fishing poles. When we were searching for a rental there were not many that listed those items. This house was what I would expect at the price point. There were a few things that could use updating but it would not be a deal breaker for me to consider renting again.

My family and I enjoyed your property for our 10 day stay.

Renting the property was easy using VRBO.com. The house was very nice and had what we needed for our stay. Very clean, could have used more batt towels, and the dish network could have carried channels to watch Atlanta Braves baseball. The pots and pans were not in good condition. Glad we took our own. I was afraid to use theirs because of health reasons. All other kitchen itema were great. The boar ramp was nextdoor and the boat dock was a short walk to the dock. We were able to leave our18 ft. boat tied up to the dock all the days we stayed. So convenient. We hope this property is available for our family to stay again. Thanks to the owner for letting us rent this house and boat dock on Lake Keowee Seneca, SC.

Will not book again

My family and I have stayed at several houses around this area for several years. This was our least favorite and only one we would not want to rebook. We are not super picky but the place was not clean. We did address molded pizza left in the oven and a dishwasher left full Of dirty dishes that had not been run for a good while and the owners did refund some but not all of the cleaning deposit. Also as a family that has our own rental property we have multiple towels per person readily available for use. If you want more than one towel per person take some of your own. After bringing up different issues and the owners did reconcile we just stopped bringing up Issues because of limited time there and knew we would not rebook. The place was definitely not clean to our standards and the furniture is very dated. The fans had layers of dust, mattresses and pillows were stained (which you had to make beds yourself), downstairs bathroom was just gross with dirt/hair/toilet scrub brush needing attention and dog food left out. I am not one to typically give out reviews unless they are positive but this was not ok. Hopefully this will help other families future stays have a more positive experience. This house definitely needs a new cleaning crew or to hire one.

I hate to complain but I wouldn't stay here again

Pros: House layout is great Lake Keowee is amazing Yard has a gentle slope and is easy to walk up Water toys: big Mable, kayaks and paddle boards Cons: The house was dirty. Large sticky mystery spot under couch and bunk bed, old spaghetti under the stove, someone else's hair in the shower and on the toilet, stains on bedding, pillow cases and comforters. The grill didn't work, nor did any of the 3 propane tanks with it. The screened porch has a lot of ripped screens including the door letting in lots of bugs. The outdoor furniture is dirty. I don't care that the furniture is dated but it's also very uncomfortable, beds included. The downstairs bathroom had a leaking toilet that flooded the downstairs bathroom. Someone had to come out and fix it. An exterminator came to spray for bugs and told us that a massive yellow jacket nest lives under the front porch and they couldn't remove it because they needed special equipment but that it *should* be safe for people as long as we were very careful. There were yellow jackets not only by the front door but all around the house, in the broken screened porch, and living in a lot of the shrubbery. One yellow jacket got in the house and stung my 9 year old. We have lots of wasps where I live but no yellow jackets and my son ended up being super allergic! His whole face was swollen, his neck was swollen and his whole body broke out into a rash. We had to rush him to urgent care for steroids and an epi pen so he wouldn't stop breathing from the severe swelling. The end of our vacation we couldn't do anything except keep our son alive and safe from the yellow jackets. The yard is covered in ants. They are everywhere. If you step on the grass, you will get bit. We put floaties on the grass and they were covered in hundreds of ants. Front yard, back yard, lower porch, ants everywhere. Having the owners boat and jet ski at the dock took up a lot of dock room, and we spent most of our time at the water until my youngest almost died. The fish at this dock will swim up to you and bite you. They feed the dock fish so the fish are trained to not be afraid of people, but they don't know the difference between people and fish food. Just know that you will be nibbled on if staying here. Mouse traps all over basement bedroom suite. Hard to lock upper and lower back doors. Sticky substance in master tub. Beds are not made due to covid. Dishwasher had old dishes in it upon arrival.

Nice home on a quiet peaceful cove

The home is well equipped, especially if you want to get out on the water. Two kayaks and two paddle boards are great assets to have for those who are active. The dock is large and provides easy access to take a quick dip in the lake. If you want to sit and enjoy the view, the screened in deck is great. The kitchen was well stocked with staples and has most of the tools you will need for food prep (missing a garlic press though).We did have a glitch a checkin due to the VRBO system not updating checkin info but the owner was very responsive and got us in with no issues.
