The Loft is a fabulous apartment just a few steps from the beach, located on the historic Island Wall in Whitstable. Tastefully decorated in soft muted tones, the interior reflects the joy of coastal living. The open plan living space is perfect for relaxing and socialising, and the two bedrooms and bathroom make this lovely apartment perfect for couples or small families. The apartment has the additional attraction of an allocated parking space. A short stroll along the beach brings you to the iconic The Old Neptune pub, one of the few UK pubs situated on a beach, from where you can catch the most stunning sunsets. Continue along the beach path and you reach the centre of Whitstable which is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous.

Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the property at any time. Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house. For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property. Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am. Parties and loud music are not permitted.

A beautifully designed apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Excellent location for the beach, the high street and access to further along the coast.
Just exactly what we needed and some tasty treats left for our arrival. Very kind!

Great location so close to beach and shops
My wife was born in Whitstable and we got married their 52 years ago, hadn't been back for a very long time. It was lovely being back but it has changed it brought back a lot of lovely memories, will stay at the loft again

The Loft
Comfortable stay although small living, dining kitchen area. Disappointing entrance and from the outside but much better inside. Can be some road noise. Good parking. Loved Whitstable.

A sunny week in Whitstable
The Loft was a superb apartment in a great location. The only criticism we would make is the shortage of some of the usual household supplies.
i.e. Bare minimum of toilet paper, washing up liquid, hand wash in the bathroom, spare rubbish bags etc.The dishwasher was broken and you had to fill a huge sink with water to wash up. It would be a good idea to supply a plastic bowl.
Only minor things, but would make a difference.

A few improvements & this accommodation would be perfect.
On the whole the apartment was very nice . Furnishings were modern & comfortable with nice artwork & cushions giving a luxury feel & the location was perfect. It was a shame that detail to cleaning was a little lacking especially the shelves in the kitchen & the cooker hood being very dusty & you could see they had not been cleaned in quite some time. The bench seat at the dining room table had mildew on it & the sofa could do with a clean. The dishwasher was not working & had not been working for some weeks as we were advised about this before hand. An addition of a microwave would have been helpful. The grounds of the property were poorly looked after & were very scruffy but the car park was handy to have. Attention to the cleaning would bring the apartment's standard back up to scratch.

Thank you so much for bringing these cleaning faults to our attention. We wish you had let us know at the time of arrival, as we would happily have sent our housekeeper back for you. Regardless, we have feed this back to her and will ensure that going forward, these items are checked thoroughly. The dishwasher unfortunately has been out of action for some time, as it's a very tricky appliance to repair. As you say, you were told prior to your arrival, but we're still sorry if this caused any inconvenience. The property owners have also been told about the communal areas for them to look at, along with the neighbours and management company who look after the building. Thank you again for sharing this review, and we look forward to hopefully hosting you again in the future!
