Perfect for the location in york. , very quiet area. Near the center.

This was a very lovely property, in the center of york, a short walk to the pubs and shops. Large Supermarket in ten minutes walk. Free parking outside the house, the kitchen is amazing very well stocked with cooking equipment, comfortable living room, and large dining area, downstairs toilet and good shower, the upstairs is nice with the bathroom, and two separate double bedrooms, the outside is tranquil with seating areas to enjoy the view invc wildlife in the garden, would stay again

Fabulous apartment, within easy walking distance of the historic centre. We loved backing onto the historic walls. It is very well equipped and we had a most enjoyable 6 days there.Would recommend without hesitation.

We were delighted with the house, it is furnished to a very high standard, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Great location, with parking, lovely garden and in easy walking distance of all attractions. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Brilliant stay in York

If anything the property description understates how good this place is. Exceptionally well presented and a few minutes walk to all that York has to offer, which is an awful lot. We could not of hoped for a better place to stay

A real hidden gem

A proper little diamond of a place - only a few streets out of the town centre but you wouldn't know that from how quiet it is around the property. The place itself is spacious, beautifully appointed and very welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Exceptional Home in Perfect Location

This apartment was one of the most comfortable and beautifully appointed rental homes we've ever stayed in. Excellent communication and equipment operating instructions. The kitchen is very well equipped and overall the decor is stunning. We loved the accordion glass doors to the patio and the views of the medieval walls. The glass enclosed seating area with a heater would be an exceptional bonus on rainy or colder days, but we had lovely weather for patio usage. The house is cozy but somehow also spacious. You feel like you're in the middle of the suburbs, but are three blocks from all of the wonderful York action. Only potential negative was the smaller beds- folks used to American queen or king beds will find them a tight squeeze. Even so, would absolutely stay again.

A Christmas shopping break

We stay in York for 5 days every year to do our Christmas shopping. The properties we stay in must be central, with on site parking, clean and comfortable - Hunt Court ticked all those boxes. It is an excellent property and the location is perfect- quiet but within easy walk of the main shopping areas to allow us to pop back with our bags when we needed to! Also only 2 mins from access to the walls and from our favourite restaurant in York - Little Italy. The house is very comfortable and mainly well equipped- some waste bins in the bathrooms and bedrooms would be a good addition. The mattress on the main bed was perfect for us - very comfortable. There were only two of us staying so we didn’t have issues with storage, but personally we think it would be a struggle for 4 adults due to lack of storage upstairs -only 1/2 a wardrobe in main bedroom (other side is locked) and a small hanging rail in the second ( which would cover the mirror if full of clothes!) A chest of drawers in both bedrooms would be much more useful than the chairs and decorative chests, and proper bedside tables where you can actually put things - there is plenty of room for these in both rooms. That said it did not detract at all from our stay, indeed we have already booked again for next year, so can’t give a better recommendation than that!
