Flathead Lake Montana - SKIDOO BAY Finley Point CASA DEL LAGO

ESTO ES una de no fumadores, no mascotas PROPIEDAD!

Esta casa es nuestra casa de Montana, pero estamos dispuestos a alquilarlo para ciertas semanas al año. Sólo está disponible para estos tiempos: A finales de junio hasta mediados de agosto. Esta casa tiene enormes ventanas que traen la luz y maravillosas vistas panorámicas de las montañas de la cordillera Mission. La casa tiene una terraza muy grande envolvente con una barbacoa de gas.
La cabina duerme 6 (8 con sofá cama queen) y tiene dos master suites, una arriba y otra en el piso principal. Hay dos camas de día en el desván y dos gemelos en la habitación de arriba. Hay 3 baños, uno en cada dormitorio y otro para invitados en la planta principal. Hay una chimenea de piedra de leña que proporciona algo de calor. El calor eléctrico está disponible con termostatos individuales y la bomba de calor. Los ventiladores de techo están instalados para la refrigeración y la bomba de calor también disponen de aire acondicionado.

Inalámbrico gratuito a Internet de banda ancha Wi-Fi gratuita.

La cocina está totalmente equipada con horno doble, placa de gas y microondas. La cocina tiene todas las comodidades, como encimeras de granito y barra de desayuno. Todo el primer piso es de baldosas, excepto para el dormitorio. Esta habitación tiene un baño de hidromasaje doble que se asoma sobre el agua y la playa.

Hay una maravillosa playa con acceso al agua para pequeñas embarcaciones acuáticas (kayaks y canoas).

Compartimos el acceso a la playa con nuestros vecinos y no tenemos un muelle, pero enviaremos información sobre el alquiler de botes y un amarre seguro cerca. * Tenga en cuenta que el muelle de nuestro vecino no se puede utilizar bajo ninguna circunstancia. *

Great Location

Our family enjoyed this lake house and spent most of our days outside. The deck and beach and water access are amazing. The waterfront location is one of the best. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing family vacation.

Beautiful place

This is a perfect place for a family vacation! Close to lots of activities to stay as busy as we wanted and very private to just rest, relax, fish, and enjoy the views. The lake is beautiful, and so much quieter then lake CDA. We had a great week there and would absolutely go back for another week!

Perfect Family “Lake” Vacation!

This beautiful house was clean, spacious, and well equipped. There was easy access to the water, the location on the peninsula was quiet and relaxing, and the view from the deck was worth the 20 hour drive from California!!! We hiked Glacier Park, we rented a boat, we ate at the local Finley Point restaurants and truly indulged in lake life. I highly recommend this property to families with older children.

The beach is an easement, so about 1/4 of the beach (one entrance) is "yours" to use. The house that owns the rest of the beach is a rental as well. There were about 30-40 people staying at the other rental, so it was pretty crowded and a little awkward. The house was great, the deck is a bit scary as it's wobbly and not very sturdy. The view can't be beat and the large windows were amazing to see it all. Gorgeous area. The beach just isn't exactly as it shows in the pictures so if that is why you're renting this place (like it was for me), you could be disappointed if the other property is rented and you don't have access to the rest of the beach (fire pit, second entrance, etc.) and have to share it with lots of other people.

Family Vacation

This is our second time staying at Pat’s lake house. The house is well equipped and very clean. The patio deck is a great place to relax and watch the boats go by. However, the patio furniture is in need of replacement. Both chaise lounges are still broken from our last stay in 2023 and mended with duck tape. The patio table only seats four, and one of the chairs had a ripped seat and wasn’t usable. Besides that negative, everything else was awesome.

Great cabin, but lake access not ideal

The cabin was fantastic for two families with kids. There was plenty of room, the cabin was well appointed in terms of dishes, towels, etc., and the view and deck were unbeatable. The access to the lake was not ideal, though. This cabin and the neighboring cabin share a beach, and during the week of our stay the neighboring cabin had 30+ people staying over. The beach was totally overrun by the neighbors, and we felt awkward going down to use the beach. The whole point of our stay on Flathead was to have easy access to a private beach, and in that respect, this cabin was not ideal.

Good and Bad

The property is amazing. The views are amazing, the deck is amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and supplies generally were very good as well. Check In instructions could have more clearly laid out where to park, but otherwise fine. House was very clean. Now the cons - the furniture is ancient including deck furniture which was literally falling apart with each sitting and had been taped together from prior similar issues. The air conditioning is a single split-unit Fujitsu which was not adequate for the summer heat especially for the master bedroom and the loft (where the other beds are located). With new furniture and an additional window ac unit this place would be amazing.

Beautiful, restful and relaxing

When we arrived, we were stunned by the beauty of the place. Right on the most stunning lake in the country, spacious, well appointed deck. New, natural gas grill which we put to good use. The house has all the natural light you could ever want. Master bedroom is huge with very efficient and comfortable appointments. Spacious loft and second bedroom which our grandchildren thoroughly loved. All appliances and appointments are top of the line. Had a couple of questions and the Property manager and owner were totally forthcoming and very pleasant to deal with. I have to mention their neighbor, a retired Veterinarian, who is the nicest, most personable person you could ever hope to meet. To summarize: this place is as advertised, properly priced, efficiently and honestly managed.

Great spot to relax

This was a great place to relax, swim, enjoy the beautiful scenery. The house is well equipped, spotless and comfortable, and we enjoyed the deck and beach. Sorry to leave it!

Nice place with room to spread out and a fantastic view. Good water access but lack of a dock is the only major downside. Upstairs twin beds could definitely be upgraded to queen size. Outside of those two items it is fabulous. Thank you so much to host/owners that were very responsive and easy to work with!

Amazing Spot literally ON the lake

This place is superbly located right on the lake in Finley point. House is open and spacious and worked great for our family of 6. The views and proximity to the lake is incredible….footsteps away from the lake! Great deck overlooking the lake, plenty of bathrooms and the views are just amazing. Sun rises directly in front of the house so mornings with coffee on the deck are beautiful. Overall an excellent location and the owner and property manager are very attentive and helpful.

Lovely location

Home was right on the water! Wine on the deck was the quintessential perfect evening after some intense days hiking in Glacier! Unfortunately, a fire in the area prompted a mandatory evacuation so we were unable to fully enjoy the home! Definitely hope to be back!

Amazing location - quiet outside busy season

We loved our time at Flathead lake. The weather was a bit cold in May, but it was also wonderfully quiet on Finley Point, with no neighbors around except on the weekend. It's a great house for relaxing, eating on the deck, enjoying wildlife (especially water fowl), and hanging out on the rocky beach. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Very nice.

Good layout. Clean, nicely appointed. Very peaceful and quiet. House faces east so beautiful sunrises off the deck. (The smoke from the fires on the west coast handicapped that a bit but that would have been anywhere in the region.) Wildlife, mostly deer but one small black bear, were everywhere. One almost joined us on the deck for happy hour! As the house is well up toward the north end of the peninsula, there is no commercial development to obscure the night sky which, on nights when the smoke cleared, was spectacular. The trade-off of that is the nearest grocery store is a good 25+ minute drive in Polson and there are only two relatively close restaurants. For us a fair exchange. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful House with direct lake access

My husband and I had a very relaxing time here, the location is amazing, just like the photos. It was the calm and relaxing vacation we were looking for. We went for walks each day around the beautiful neighborhood and bought some apples to feed the very friendly deer. Down the stairs is a private beach that is shared with the neighbor, which is also a vacation rental, so we sometimes had a lot of company while in the lake, but the nice part is that we could easily just go right back up on the deck to lounge privately. The only recommendation I had for the owner is that it would have been nice to have two fire pits, once for each household. As it stands now, there was only one, so there was a bit of competition to get there first. And with COVID, we are doing our part to not spend time in close quarters in large groups or with people we don’t know, so there were several nights that we couldn’t use it. Other than this minor detail, this is a lovely home with an incredible setting, and we would love to go back.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The views are amazing. The beach is great. The house was as advertised, super clean and very well stocked with everything you need for a successful trip. The host was very helpful and easy to work with. We loved starting our days with breakfast on the beautiful deck. We loved counting the deer along the road along Finley Point. We loved making smores at the fire pit. Pat - thanks for a great vacation!

Great escape!

What a great property. We escaped Washington DC and headed west. We loved every minute. The house has everything you’d need, the location is idyllic, and the beach access perfect for kids. Pat and her property manager were wonderful to deal with, and check in and out was smooth.

Wonderful house, peaceful, great view

We stayed here for a week in July and had a wondeful time. Finley point is a great location on the lake and from which to do things in the area. Only complaint was the lack of a dock. There is acces to the lake which was good for swimming. You can pull small kayaks or floats up on the beach, but when we were there the house next door had a large party that took over the area.

I am a Montana native (Missoula) and currently divide my time between Seattle, Maui and this MT Lakehouse. My parents originally acquired this property in 1959. My late-husband and I fully rebuilt the cabin in the early 2000s.

This property has been in the family for two generations. The property was (almost) fully rebuilt in the early 2000s. The fireplace was part of the original structure. The property is unique in that it's location is grandfathered in. It is no longer possible to build a structure so close to the water's edge.
