This is the PERFECT place to stay overnight in Catania if you have to overnight close to the airport. It is literally a 10 minute walk or a 20 Euro cab ride. The place is equipped with everything a traveler needs (USB charging station, small kitchen with coffee maker & coffee and tea, microwave, shower / towels, iron, tv, WiFi, etc). The owner even provided some milk and juices in the refrigerator and a few snacks to get you going in the morning. There is a very cute patio/lanai area overlooking a nice garden where you can eat the your dinner or breakfast. There are a couple of pizzerias around the corner and a bakery. The owner could not have been more accommodating, with several notes to help us find the place and her son greeted us and she even arranged a taxi for us for the following morning to go to the airport. And the price was SO much better than a fancy airport hotel and I felt good helping out the local economy. A true win/win. 100% recommend for an overnight airport stay in Catania.
