Este acogedor y bien proporcionado apartamento de una cama, ideal para una pareja o una sola persona. Situado en una propiedad de época típica, este piso tiene grandes ventanas antiguas tradicionales que dejan entrar una buena luz para que el piso se siente muy brillante y aireado. El piso está bien proporcionado en niveles divididos, lo que le da una sensación muy hogareña. La habitación es muy espaciosa, con un buen espacio en el armario y sirve para guardarla fácilmente. Además, hay un gran espacio para maquillarse y arreglarse el cabello, además de una increíble cama super extra grande. Incluso después de todo esto, hay mucho espacio para que las personas se preparen juntas sin tropezarse. Perfect Location for exploring London!!

The flat was perfect for the two of us. great complete kitchen, full bath, living room to relax in, comfortable large bed- all clean and well maintained!! Location was great- block from the Notting Hill Gate Underground- Circle and Central lines. Added bonus- besides being near Hyde Park and Kensington Palace- there is a Paul Rhodes bakery on the corner- fresh pastries, bread and coffee.

Loved the location!

Very convenient to Underground Central Line. Notting Hill Gate tube stop is a 5 minute walk. Nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores. The flat is perfect for 2 people. Lots of storage space in the bedroom. Bed was very comfortable. The shower's water temperature control is the only downside. An inconvenience but manageable.

Location, Location, Location!!!

The flat is really well-laid out and has every conceivable amenity you could possibly ever need. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, glasses, tea kettle, toaster, microwave and every imaginable kitchen gadget. The bathroom is stocked with hair dryer (well, this being the UK, that's in the bedroom) shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand lotion, etc. The bed is huge and very comfortable and the bedroom has tons of storage space for clothes and even a cupboard to hide your suitcase once you have unpacked. There is a fan in case of hot weather and the heating system is very responsive in case of cold weather. The WiFi works great. However, that is not actually the best part of this fabulous flat... That is the LOCATION. On a quiet cul-de-sac, just one street off of Bayswater, you are a 3 minute walk to Nottinghill Gate tube station (Central, Circle and District lines), the bus to Piccadilly (#94) stops literally around the corner (or across the street if you going to Sheppard's Bush and the Westfield shopping center). The area is full of wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. Unless you are going in to see a show, why bother with all the crowds in the West End?! And the icing on the cake is Priyan de Mel himself. Very responsive to my many queries both before after arrival. I recommend this property to all my friends. He actually has (at least) 3 different flats in this building, but this one is best for 2 people.

Overall a good place to stay

I selected this place because of its price, location and super-king-sized bed, and it delivered on all three. The bed was huge, comfortable, and equipped with great pillows and professionally laundered and pressed bed linen I'd expect in a 4 or 5 star hotel. The location was just a few minutes' walk from transit options and shops, yet was on a quiet dead end street. There were also some pleasant surprises. When we arrived, we were delighted to find it had a lift! Great for getting our luggage upstairs and a treat after long days of sightseeing. The flat was clean and very thoughtfully furnished, with lots of storage, abundant toiletries, cozy throws in the living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. There were great little drying racks over most of the radiators so after using the washing machine it was easy to dry our clothes. There were huge windows, so it was light and bright, but with blackout shades and blinds for privacy and shutting out the city lights at night. It was not without its quirks, though. The bath was raised above floor level, which made it difficult to climb in and out of and left very little head room. My husband and I are both nearly 6 feet tall and I don't know if anyone taller could have comfortably stood up to shower. There was also a bump-out in the wall/ceiling of the bath that put a sharp corner right where your head would naturally be while showering, requiring constant care lest you bump your head. For a place so thoughtfully set up in many ways, it could use some love. Threadbare carpet, a loose floor tile or two, stains on the ceiling, chipped paint, etc. We found that the three lamps in the bedroom and one in the living room weren't working (they may just have needed replacement bulbs; we didn't investigate). And while the tv worked fine the first day (once we figured out which input source was needed for the sky tv receiver), it never worked after that despite extensive troubleshooting. The owner felt it was our error but we wondered if the frayed coaxial cable into the receiver might be the problem. It was not resolved during our 9-night stay. Depending on your priorities, this could be the right place for you. When I was looking for places, I didn't consider any without a tv, so in hindsight I wouldn't have selected this place. I had envisioned coming home after long days sightseeing to enjoy favorite British shows I normally can only see years late or not at all, so I was pretty disappointed.

Needs some TLC

Pro: location! Nice quiet bldg on a dead end. Close to tube- safe neighborhood. CONS:shower - cannot use hot and cold water simultaneously you either burn or freeze. Carpeting leading to flat is all ripped and duct taped. Mold in shower and on faucets. Hot water heater in bedroom closet that goes on/ off all night- Terrible if you are a light sleeper. Couch was supposed to be used for my 23 year old daughter who is 5’4. They didn’t tell us it was a loveseat not a couch - her feet hung off. NOT fit for 3 ppl and they should have warned us. No full length mirror in the flat and only mirror in bathroom is 3 feet above the sink- way above anyone’s head. Weird place to hang it. Every VRBO I have ever stayed in has supplied coffee - or pods . This is BYO. Overall okay. Would probably not stay here again. I took all photos to substantiate - will try to post separately.

Disappointed

Great location! Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with this property. There was a language barrier with the person who met us to let us in and give us keys. Very pleasant but not helpful because we couldn't understand each other. Although the property was clean, it needs some serious attention. Carpet is very worn and needs to be replaced - Living Room - television wasn't working and the person who let us in told us we needed to work with the landlord to have it fixed. Not the way you want to start your vacation. Bedroom roman shade didn't work and again the person who let us in told us just to make it work. Bed was comfortable! Bathroom, hot/cold water had a mind of its own. Spend a little more and go somewhere else until the needed attention is given to this property.

Great Location!

The location was perfect for my walking and wandering, tubing and touring. London was suffering under an unusual heat wave and, oh, how I would have loved air conditioning! I'd recommend the owner provide a light weight sheet instead of the heavy comforter/duvet as an option in the rare case of hot weather. The place is perfect for one or two people. The kitchen has everything needed for a short stay. The bakery on the corner is amazing. And Portobello Road and the Farmers' Market is an easy walk from the flat. The owner provides some local guidebooks and maps; the laminated map was my best friend! I was so happy to find it.

Great location, but apt. needs some work

The location is great. Close to the train station, and hop on/off bus stops. The check-in didn't go too smoothly though. We waited 45 -50 minutes outside before we were able to get someone to come and let us in. Older apartment, has all the necessities but needs some upgrading.

Fantastic flat in great location.

I loved staying here with my son. The bus and tube transportation is perfect. The flat was clean and very spacious. My only request would be a few water/juice glasses and a few more small plates in the kitchen. It was lovely coming back to a real “home” at night. Thank you. I will definitely book again!
