Beautiful House

This house has it all, beautiful home, gorgeous views, well stocked with supplies for cooking, hot tub, garage (a must in the winter), and the most amazing Christmas tree! Jon is very nice & helpful! We had such a nice family Christmas/ski trip!

Beautiful and well maintained property helped to make our Thanksgiving holiday with family from near and far relaxing, stress free, super comfortable and fun! From the beginning of the reservation process right through check out, we would not change a thing. We would highly recommend this property for your stay.

Perfect for our family gathering

We were planning a famiily gathering of 12 people, including young children. I searched many properties and this house was exactly what I was looking for! Breathtaking views, large open floor plan, comfortable and roomy kitchen, available garage and awesome lower lever! The beds were very comfortable and the 4 bathrooms were a luxury. Plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other.The sledding hill alongside the house was perfect for the young children and the adults enjoyed the toboggan run. Nearby Carter's has fabulous cross country ski trails as well as rentals for snowshoes. Lots of happy memories made during our week here! Both the owner and the care taker are very responsive. (Note to women: fyi you will need to bring your own hairdryer)

Beautiful home close to golf and mountain

The home has an impressive great room, gourmet kitchen, plenty of deck space, and enough space for a comfortable stay. It was very close to Sunday River and views of the mountains were spectacular.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! This place offers a stunning view with a gorgeous deck. Loved all the amenities offered. Couldnt ask for a better place than this. My family and I enjoyed our last bit of summer here. Weekend we will never forget.

Beautiful, clean and spacious!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. It was fully stocked with everything you could need and was extremely clean and comfortable. We were able to enjoy local fishing and the summer activities at Sunday River. Love it!

Perfect summer getaway

This house is beautiful! My girlfriends and I spent a long weekend getaway at this chalet. You will not find a better spot to enjoy a morning coffee on the beautiful deck overlooking the mountains, or a platform to stargaze. The house was clean and full of amenities. The communication with the owner was great; he was very responsive. We spent time hiking at Grafton Notch State Park, doing yoga at a nearby farm, and river tubing down the Androscoggin River. The house was in a perfect location to downtown Bethel and to Sunday River. I highly recommend this house and hope to make it back in the future!

Wedding weekend at beautiful home!

My husband and I decided that for our June Sunday River wedding, we wanted to rent a nearby house for ourselves and our best friends. (It was a bit further than we originally thought, but well worth it). We stayed here with three other couples and hosted a nice BBQ for our immediate family the night before the wedding. This house was absolutely perfect. The open-concept floor plan and deck with beautiful views made it perfect for an evening bbq. There was a large fridge and plenty of kitchen necessities. We were able to have big breakfasts together each morning, and we could all fit nicely at the dinner table and breakfast bar. This house was great because it had so many bedrooms and more than enough space for the 8 adults staying there. It was such a fun, relaxing weekend! The guys had fun hanging out in the basement where they could play pool and ping pong, and I loved that I had some privacy to get ready for the wedding in the master suite with the beautiful bathroom. The house is set up so well. The bedrooms are very spacious, and it was great to have 3 1/2 baths in convenient locations. This was our first time using VRBO and we had such a great experience. Jon was so easy to work with and responded to my questions very quickly. The information he gave us regarding the house (how to's and such) were simple yet thorough. We found them so very helpful. We can't wait to do this again! It was such a wonderful weekend filled with memories with our friends/family.. Thanks so much Jon!

A grand home with a Grandview!

The Grandview Lodge is a gorgeous and secluded home that has all the amenities one needs for an extended vacation. Really a home away from home, but better! We stayed in the Grandview mid-February 2018 for a week of skiing. The owner Jon has thought of everything and is very attentive to the needs of his guests. Jon was also very good at communicating with us. The description of this property and the photos are spot on. The home is warm and inviting! As the property sits above the facing tree line, we were afforded with terrific views of the surrounding mountains and Sunday River. It is very easy to set a welcoming and warm ambiance, any time of day. The home has a great chef’s kitchen, which has every kitchen toy you need. Along with the laundry, all the appliances are either new or in good working order. The spacious great room exceeds expectations and is the focal point of the home. The furnishing and decor are comfortable and inviting. The large fireplace comes well stock with firewood. The huge deck has a fantastic hot tub and a new Weber grill. Bedrooms are all expansive and comfortable. The beds and linens are all very comfortable. Bathrooms are very clean and well appointed. Now the best part, the large and well-equipped Games Room with pool table, ping-pong, Apple TV (a large Movie library and Netflix) and not least, a standing popcorn maker which the kids loved. Likely the best built-in babysitter ever! However, my favorite was the garage, for the sole fact that we didn’t have to clean snow off the cars or travel outside to fetch wood for the fireplace. This home is so fantastic, you could easily spend days losing track of time while taking in the scenery. It is warm and homey. Obvious evidence Jon cares about his real estate. As a result, we rarely ventured into Bethel for dinner. We had a wonderful time at the Grandview and would highly recommend.

Beautiful home!

We stayed three nights and had the absolute best experience! The home is gorgeous, furnished beautifully, and overlooks the mountain at Sunday River. The living areas are wide open, making it the ideal home for families or big parties. The home is spacious and the 4 bedrooms sleep more than 15 people. The 3 full baths and 1 half bath with laundry made our big families stay easy and comfortable! The drive to the mountain is less than ten minutes, making it the perfect location for a ski rental. I would highly recommend this beautiful picturesque home to anyone looking to book a luxurious and spacious ski rental with views of the mountain. This secluded rental was a perfect way to spend a memorable weekend!

A private, stunning (re)treat with expansive views and great amenities

This place was everything and and more than we ever needed for a long weekend away. As far as location, the several acre property is well laid out with great privacy. The views from rear deck were expansive and better than pictures could do justice. We were here at the peak of the fall season and the colors had us in awe. The only other residence within eye-shot of the property is only visible from the driveway, and far enough away that it's easy to not realize its presence. Much of our nights and mornings were spent soaking in the large hot tub and taking in the views. At night, the skies were crystal clear; and due to how isolated the property is, the stars were out in full force and we spotted countless shooting stars. The interior of the house was well laid out, spacious, and well decorated. The house had an environment that invoked relaxation. The main floor of the house had a grand room that was great to hang out in after a long day of hiking. There were enough beds for at least a dozen people, and likely more. The large windows brought in much natural light, which complemented the natural wood tones within the house very well. The entertainment area within the basement was a great place to enjoy a night in. We played several games of pool, and watched movies on the large wrap-around couch. It was very convenient to have the option to stay entertained at the house rather than go searching around town. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary utensils, which we took advantage of to cook large meals and eat at the kitchen table. This house would be great for those seeking to take advantage of the local ski resorts. It located close to Sunday River, and the house has a large mud room at the entrance. We were in the area during autumn, so we took advantage of the local hiking trails by visiting Grafton Notch and taking a hike on the Appalachian Trail. The comfort of a shower, cooking a hot meal, a soak in the hot tub, and a night of movies was all we needed after a day of hiking. Sunday River Brewery was close by too. Coordination with Jon for arriving/leaving, and using the amenities at the house was very seamless and easy. He provided me with a well-laid out guide to the house, which was also located within the house for our use. Jon checked in with us during our stay to ask if we had any questions, and was very considerate and easy to contact. The only problem was dragging ourselves to leave. Thanks for everything Jon!
