Great place to stay! Highly recommended. Close to grocery store and great beaches. We left a boogie board for future guests to use at Magic Sands! Whee!

Fantastic week in paradise

The property was absolutely amazing….beautifully furnished and absolutely amazing views….including the whales (some lovely 15 minute ballets with breaching, tail slaps…..) and dolphins. The restaurants in the area were also excellent…we will be back!!

Wonderful condo with stunning view

The condo was clean, well provisioned and looked exactly like the listing. We enjoyed the lanai every morning and afternoon - the sunsets were amazing.

Worth It!

Convenient location and comfortable accommodations. And having the ocean right outside your lanai was incredible! Great sunsets! Falling asleep to the sound of the surf was amazing!

Beautiful

This is our third stay at this condo and our fourth at KKSR. We love it here and hope to be back every year! Beautiful ocean views - so nice to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. We really enjoy relaxing on the lanai while eating fresh fish and local fruit. Great location - we walk to the snorkeling beach each day!

Daughers first time to Hawaii

The views can't be beat. The location of the condo is close to all the amenities that are on site. It does have everything you could need for the stay, I've rented other places that don't provide things like garbage bags, dishwasher and laundry soap and I brought some with me and didn't have to use it.

Kona stay in style

Property was excellent. Awe inspiring views. Loved the feel of the property. Has tennis corts, swimming pool and is gated. Has parking assigned; however someone parked in our spot for several days. We parked in convenient vistor parking. Also BBQ area covered. Easy to go to attractions and sites and not feel crowded.

A great place to stay

Lovely, clean, well stocked oceanfront condo with private corner location and wonderful ocean sounds. We have stayed at the corresponding condos in buildings 3 and 5 and would choose this one again. Great location in walking distance of the best snorkeling beach, harbor with an outrigger paddle club and various boat tours, shopping center with cinema, and two good Farmers' Markets.

Wonderful condo, amazing view

We loved having this condo, as our home base while staying Kona. The location is perfect, you can not beat the view. Pool was beautiful, temperature just right. It was so nice to swim in fresh water after being at the beach all day. Condo was well stocked and comfortable, thank goodness for the AC. Thank you for having us and we hope to be back again!

Fantastic place. Very clean. Great kitchen. Awesome views. We opted out of the AC and were pretty comfortable. Appreciated the location away from Ali’i Hwy and just a short climb to the grocery store.

Unbeatable Views

We stayed at the condo for a week with our two children. The property is conveniently located, larger than the pictures captured, and well-stocked with everything you need for the beach. The view for the lanai and master bath is breathtaking. We will be back!

Great location.

The condo is well suited on the top floor and corner lanai for maximum viewing of the ocean. Unbelievable sunsets and views of dolphins through the condos’ binoculars. Walk less than a mile to a mild snorkeling place. Furniture is dated, but has everything you need. Shops and restaurants nearby. We will be back!

Everything we needed was already there. The condo included beach gear, tennis rackets/balls, pickleball rackets/balls all the necessary things to cook with and binoculars. Great view! Quiet complex. A/C worked good. We loved our stay.

Beautiful Views

Loved our at this Condo in March 2023. The views from the balcony cannot be best. The condo was well equipped with the basics for cooking, cleaning and doing any needed laundry. Additionally, the location is great. We spent a week splitting our time between the beach and exploring the island and found this condo to be the perfect base location.

AMAZING!

We enjoyed our stay here so much we gladly spent a lot of our vacation time at the condo hanging out on the balcony. The sunset was phenomenal every single evening. Walking up to the sound of the ocean was my favorite part. We’ll definitely be staying here every time we come to the Big Island. I also have to shout out the host. The sweetest, and so helpful, and even gave us some tips on a near by beach to take my 5 year old. Thank you so much!

Disappointing

Not lovely as pictured. Place is old and nothings been updated. Old scratched furnitue, no comfy outdoor deck seating, beach chairs are awful. Beds were ok and pretty clean. Nice view.

Family trip August 2024

Beautiful place. Gorgeous view. Needed more towels. Had a family of 6 and was not provided enough towels. Had all the snorkel gear, chairs, umbrella and everything you could think of for the beach. Tennis balls and pickle ball gear all provided. Air conditioning was amazing! All dishes and kitchen utensils provided and in good working condition. Only was given one laundry soap pack, we stayed a week with 6 people and didn’t receive a response from manager to acquire more.

Kona Stay

We stayed 6 nights in Kona at the Keahou Kona Surf and Racquet Club. There were 9 in our family and 5 of us stayed in this unit, the other 4 in a unit in the same building. It was clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable, and the AC was a plus. Great views from both sides being a corner unit. Lots of beach gear. Keep in mind this is a 3rd floor unit with no elevators, but we did not find that to be too much of a problem. Jacque was was very responsive and helpful. The complex is conveniently located, has a nice pool and tennis courts, and lovely grounds. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

Beautiful Sunsets, but…

Beautiful sunsets, large balcony. However the place screams “update me”! Wood furniture on balcony is very faded, carpet shows signs of its proximity to the sea, and the kitchen is 90s vintage.. Place was cool by morning and the sound of the waves all night was soothing. Bed was comfortable and not too hard. Initially had difficulty communicating before we figured out the owner/manager preferred to not use the VRBO app.

Location is stunning!!

Effortless and Beautiful. Gating community with locals who live in the community who enjoy visitors from around the world. The condo is on a corner third story with views that are incredible and the condo is right on the water. This location is close to the action, but removed from tourism and the condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners replied quickly to questions, allowed late check out, and we felt like we won the jackpot. The local tennis guys welcomed us to play doubles with them several times and we met several families/couples who were enjoying themselves. Also the tennis courts have great nighttime lighting- which is nice since it gets hot during the daytime in Kona. Last but not least, we did not have any issues with bugs or unwanted creatures, which can happen in Hawaii. Everything was well manicured and taken care of in the community.

The lanai was amazing with its view and the roominess. The condo was great, the only issues we had was that all the closet doors kept coming off the tracks and the door for the hot water heater was broken.

Beautiful Oceanfront

This is a corner unit with decking and windows/doors providing beautiful oceanfront views to both the west and north. Bedding and furnishings are both tasteful and comfortable. Well supplied with beach chairs, boogie boards, tennis rackets, coolers, etc. There's no A/C, but ceiling and floor fans are plentiful and kept things cool. It's located in a resort with full access to a nice pool and tennis courts. The location is a couple minute drive to a large shopping center with a major market and several good restaurants. Nearby is an interesting archeological site, good snorkeling spot, and Magic Sands beach. A few more minutes drive gets you into Kona. We really enjoyed our stay -- highly recommended!
