The area is great. The apartment was extremely lacking. The host did not reply to any messages or emails. There were blood stained sheets and a bug in bed, cockroaches in kitchen (!!), the check in time was 4 but at 4.10 the apartment still wasn't ready. Hurt myself on a nail sticking out of cupboard door. No oven glove, no colander, broken toilet seat, doors to bedrooms did not close. Extremely unhappy and awaiting a response from either the host or VRBO.

Location was good, metro and bus nearby. Clean apartment. I wish we had more than 1 key per 4 adults staying at the apartment. Additionally, one of the bedroom doors didn't close. There was absolutely no room/dresser/cabinet for hanging/unpacking clothes in the second bedroom with 2 beds. I'd also appreciate more than one pillow per person. The apartment is on the third floor, but the elevator didn't work. The managing company said the building was handling, but it wasn't handled. There was also no way to turn on the light in the entry way of the building when going downstairs. We did see small cockroaches in the kitchen. It's understandable that the building is old, but it would be better if the bugs were treated before the guests arrived rather than bothering the guests about the inspection during the stay. The floors are squeaky, which must be normal for the old building. Overall, the stay was good, and it allowed us to experience the local vibe.

Zunächst das Positive: Die Vorab-Informationen zur Ferienwohnung waren klar und hilfreich. Die Lage direkt an der Metro-Station Ménilmontant war sehr praktisch, da die dortige Linie 2 eine sehr gute Verbindung zu vielen Orten bietet. Auch das Stadtquartier selbst ist quirlig und voller Geschäfte, Restaurants, Cafés und Bars. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in der 2. Etage eines Eckhauses mit schönem Blick auf den Platz. Schweres Gepäck lässt sich mit einem winzigen Fahrstuhl transportieren. Die Wohnung war grundsätzlich sauber. Die positiven Eindrücke wurden allerdings bald verleidet; denn die Wohnung war kärglich eingerichtet und in Teilen defekt. Bereits am Tag nach unserer Ankunft ließ sich der Stöpsel im Badezimmerwaschbecken nicht mehr anheben, sodass das Wasser nur sehr langsam abfloss, was angesichts mehrerer Benutzer sehr unangenehm war. Die angegebene Kontakttelefonnummer war nicht erreichbar; auf mehrere SMS wurde bis zum Schluss nicht geantwortet, was uns besonders ärgerte. Es fehlten z.B. Kleiderhaken, Nachttische und -lampen (in jedem Zimmer nur eine Deckenlampe), in der Wohnküche waren die Beine eines der vier Stühle instabil und der Sitz defekt. Die Holzdielen hatten drei größere Löcher. Mitgebrachte Haustiere waren nicht erlaubt, vielleicht weil in der Wohnung schon mindestens eine Maus (mehrere Sichtungen) und eine Kakerlake lebten. Die Bewerbung als "charming apartment" war ebenso mutig wie die Beschreibung als "ruhig", da es auf dem Platz vor dem Haus bis in die Nacht lautstark wie auf einem Bahnhof zuging. Zusammenfassend es nicht das, was wir angesichts der Beschreibung und des hohen Preises erwartet hatten.

Nous avons quitté le logement après la première nuit (sur trois). Le logement n’est pas conforme aux photos sur l’annonce, plus vétuste, plus sombre et moins spacieux. Par ailleurs il n’est pas du tout adapté aux familles - il y’a des trous dans le parquet, les portes ne ferment pas, les canapés du salon sont sales, le chauffe eau fait énormément de bruit et l’appartement donne sur un boulevard extrêmement bruyant à tout moment du jour et de la nuit. Sans parler des parties communes qui sont dans un état déplorable et bien sûr, l’ascenseur ne fonctionne pas. Nous avons été particulièrement choqués du décalage entre les avis déposés précédemment pour ce logement et la réalité, la conclusion qui s’impose est que les avis sont faux. Nous avions également payé un supplément pour un lit bébé mais il n’a pas été fourni et nous exigeons un remboursement qui se fait toujours attendre. Une immense déception et il va s’en dire que nous ne réserverons plus sur Abritel.
