Bienvenido a esta cabaña clásica frente al lago, disponible durante todo el año y ubicada en el corazón de Big Rideau Lake. La casa principal ofrece impresionantes vistas panorámicas del lago y de los atardeceres gracias a sus grandes ventanales, creando un ambiente luminoso y acogedor en cualquier estación.

La propiedad cuenta con cinco dormitorios con capacidad para hasta 10 huéspedes, además de sofás cama que permiten alojar hasta 4 personas adicionales (se aplica un cargo extra para grupos de más de 6 personas). Todas las camas están preparadas con ropa de cama limpia y se proporcionan toallas limpias.

La cabaña incluye una amplia terraza acristalada de madera con abundantes asientos y una mesa para desayunos, ideal para relajarse mientras se disfruta de la vista al lago. En el interior, hay una gran sala de estar pensada para grupos, con chimenea y un televisor inteligente Samsung de pantalla plana con acceso a las principales aplicaciones de streaming, como Netflix, Disney+ y otras (los huéspedes utilizan sus propias cuentas).

La cocina totalmente equipada dispone de dos fregaderos e incluye todos los utensilios y suministros necesarios. Entre otras comodidades se encuentran tres baños, sauna y mini bar. Para estancias prolongadas, hay lavadora y secadora disponibles (el detergente no está incluido).

En el exterior, la propiedad ofrece acceso directo e ilimitado al lago mediante un gran muelle privado que puede acomodar varias embarcaciones. La zona de baño cuenta con agua profunda, limpia y sin rocas ni maleza al final del muelle. El fogón exterior con vista al lago tiene capacidad para todos los huéspedes, y el amplio terreno de aproximadamente 1 acre es perfecto para barbacoas, reuniones y eventos al aire libre.

La cabaña cuenta con aire acondicionado y calefacción mediante leña y/o gas propano (la leña no está incluida). Rodeada de árboles maduros, arbustos y cercas que cubren aproximadamente el 70 % del terreno, la propiedad ofrece un alto nivel de privacidad. El estacionamiento permite hasta 6 vehículos.

Big Rideau Lake es conocido por sus amplias aguas abiertas y excelentes oportunidades para la pesca. El alquiler de lanchas a motor está disponible en una marina cercana.

This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. It did settle down during the week. You can tell they have been working on the house to improve it.

Great property

This was our second time staying at Ibrahim’s cottage, and it’s officially become a yearly family tradition for us! The cottage is always well-stocked and thoughtfully maintained — plenty of beds, blankets, and utensils to easily accommodate our large group. The location is peaceful and ideal for unwinding, and the overall setup makes it perfect for quality time with family.What truly stands out is Ibrahim’s hospitality. When we faced an unexpected situation and requested an extended stay, he responded with kindness and flexibility — even though we didn’t end up needing the extra night, his willingness to help made a big difference.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene getaway with all the comforts of home and a host who genuinely cares.

Family getaway weekend

We stayed 3 nights. The home is very well equipped to host 12 aduts. Very nice location. Close Gananoque where we did the 1000 cruise. Weplayed games on the beautiful flowery lawn. The home was clean (needs a good spring cleaning) .

Great but could be excellent

The family enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend with great views from all the rooms and hallways with fresh air. The bed mattresses were really comfortable. However, there were bunch of issues including inefficient dishwasher, hazardous electrical outlets at the same level as the kitchen sink and no labels on the drawers or cabinets. It was time consuming search for kitchen stuff. Owner was not easily reachable. Otherwise it was value for money.

Spacious cottage with amazing waterfront!

My family had a great weekend stay at the cottage. Overall the cottage was stocked and setup with everything we needed (with the exception of shampoo which I thought the ad stated was provided - I only found a few bars of soap). The beds and linens are crazy comfortable! The large sofa in the living room is perfect for large groups. We had a boat with us so the dock was amazing to have! Overall a great stay! A few details of the cottage are getting a little well used and will need updating (exterior seating, one set of kitchen lights didn’t work, toilet paper holder wasn’t attached the wall) but none of these really made much of a difference. The only really annoying thing was the host has an automated alarm at the front entrance that keeps saying “you are trespassing” over and over again if motion activated. This definitely wasn’t a nice welcome for our group as we arrived. Feel like that could be turned off when the cottage is rented.

Excellent property with nice swimming and outdoor spaces. Definitely needs an outdoor table for family dining. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped and laid out for multiple cooks.

Great property for a family getaway

We were pleasantly surprised that the property could comfortably fit 12 people—something most rentals struggle with. The beautiful view and private dock were absolutely perfect! The lake itself was stunning, huge, and so quiet that it felt like we had our own private space. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, and having a washer and dryer to dry our clothes after a day on the water was a fantastic bonus. The drive from West Ontario was long, but honestly, we’d do it all over again! We would recommend staying here.

Weekend getaway

Very nice area, a little hard to find but the host was helpful in helping us locate it. Needs a little TLC for the setup outside. Lake was nice 😊

Spacious and On the Water

This property has some definite pluses - the location is beautiful, easy to find, and on the lake. It is private and very spacious! Lots of large, bright rooms and a lovely cottage feel with all the wood furnishing & decor. George was kind & quick to respond to our questions. We encourage the owners to have the kitchen deep cleaned, decluttered and updated, which will really improve things for the family chef :-) We loved the double fridges! Accessibility: If some in your group have mobility challenges, there is a walk-in shower, bathroom and large open space right on the main floor as well as a large main bedroom. However, it is challenging to navigate the de/incline from your vehicle to the cottage and down to the water. Caution too that the dock is a floating dock.

Great spot for a weekend with friends

It was a pleasure staying here and I highly recommend this location for a weekend with friends. George was very accommodating and this location is absolutely stunning. I suggest booking this place during warmer temperatures - the water was crystal clear and my only regret was not getting to enjoy it.

Great place to relax on the water

Great cottage to relax with friends. The Cottage was in great shape and clean, but could use a good deep cleaning in certain areas. The dock and waterfront areas are amazing. The Sauna heats up quickly, but only fits 2-3 adults comfortably. Overall a great cottage and will definitely be looking to book again in the future!

It was a beautiful spot. A few helpful tips for the owner… print off a book for renters, (sent a pdf didn’t print it off ) some of the information was missing, didn’t know it was a gas bbq, where to find light switches for the rooms. had to search around for hand towels etc.

Staying in the cottage was fun

The cottage is very nice but unorganized. No towels in the bathroom. we had to search every closets to find them. We ended up finding them piled up in the dryer. We never found the booklet with the check out instructions.

We had a great time. Kitchen well stocked. Not as clean as we expected based on reviews we had read. Single beds weren’t made. We weren’t able to watch TV until a technician showed up. Wifi was very weak.

House was just as described, plenty of room with all of the amenities. Great location close to towns in any direction. I would highly recommend this property especially for larger groups. A very nice property
