Initial logs for wood burner Oct-Apr included. Travel cot and highchair available to hire at £12 each. Doggie welcome pack. Enclosed garden with BBQ. Sauna (private). Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.
Property description The Golden Eagle has a large open plan living area, which is ideal for family gathering and large group stays. The property has two double bedrooms each with en suite shower rooms, two twin bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge which is only recommended for 1 adult or 2 children. All come with top quality linen and towels provided. It has a fully fitted designer kitchen with quality appliances and utensils and a generous expanse of surfaces ideal for the keen cook. This beautiful property is finished to the highest standard and has the added feature of an indoor sauna to relax in after an active day out skiing or hill waking in the Cairngorm National Park. After your sauna you can snuggle up by with a wee dram or hot drink by the large wood burning stove. There will be a welcome basket of logs, kindling and firer lighters ready for you at the property for your first night’s fire during October-April. If you would like to use the fire out of season we are happy for you to do so, just pop into our reception and ask for some logs.
Both young and old guests will be excited to hear the whistle and hiss of steam as the beautiful vintage Strathspey Steam Train chugs slowly by at the bottom of the garden. You can take a ride on this train from the Aviemore station which is just a 10-minute walk from your property. The steam train runs regularly between Aviemore, Boat-of-Garten and Broomhill station.
Location The property is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac at Dalnabay, set beneath the Cairngorm Mountains and just 5 minutes’ walk to the village of Aviemore’s shops, bars, cafés, and restaurants, which is ideal for nights out when you do not want to take the car.
Pet Friendly We understand how hard it can be to find excellent quality 4-star accommodation that welcomes your pet as well, so we are pleased to say that this property will welcome up to 2 dogs at the cost of £7.00 per night per pet. To make your pet feel really welcome they will even get their own doggie welcome pack to use during their stay. If you are away with your dog, you will be pleased to know that many of the pubs and restaurants are dog friendly in Aviemore and the surrounding area.
Guest Discount Card- Silver Card As one of our valued guests, you will be given a Guest Silvercard to use during your stay which will give you a 10% discount at selected establishments and leisure facilities in the Spey Valley area.
