INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Our stay was fabulous

Our stay was amazing the only thing that needs to be updated in the whole condominium is the elevators. But the place has a very friendly atmosphere, very family oriented. Also renting from panhandle getaways was a very easy process. We look forward to coming back.

The Unit was lovely except the sliding door to the patio needs to be repaired very difficult to open

The Summit condo was in a great location, easy access to all. The unit itself was beautifully decorated with everything you would need. Have beach service was a great bonus!

Didn't want to leave

Everything was as described. Staff were extremely friendly, pools were clean. Our room was cozy. We really didn't want to come home. The only things I think could be addressed are the outlets in the rooms were loose and slow to charge our phones. The room itself was clean but there are spots on ceilings and wall corners where mold is visible. I know with the damage this area has seen in the past, these things will come up and while they weren't a huge issue for us I am sure someone else would fuss over it.

This condo is great! Spent our last week here,comfortable and quite

The Summit has some work to do,only spent one week in this particular condo...it is very nice! The Summit advertises as non smoking...not only were there plenty of smokers,even lit ash coming onto the balcony ALSO enough pot smokers, smells and smoke that it was impossible to enjoy the balcony during the evening hours when the migrant workers came back from their day job! Security improved towards the end of the first week of March but some security staff cares and some are to distracted by bikinis and cell phones. This was not our 1st visit to the Summit,we understand the area was hit by a hurricane ,that there is a lot of work to do however we hope very soon the staff will stop using it as a crutch for poor quality! AGAIN THIS CONDO IS WONDERFUL!!! Nothing negative to say about the quality of this particular condo. We can see the thought and care the personal owners have invested and it is appreciated immensely...WORTH EVERY DIME! The purpose of our honesty is to bring awareness to the many individual owners who have made a serious investment of time,faith and money. The blonde guy on the beach selling arm bands so "our friends" can get in isn't helping anyone but himself. But some of the employees of the local souvenir shops are more then willing to "hook you up" with their "friend selling armbands" we assume they get a cut....

Our unit was great...the Summit was not.

Our condo was great...the The only issue we had was the elevators and the rundown aesthetic of the complex. At one point, we waited for almost 30. minutes to get on an elevator to take us downstairs. We were on the 10th floor and had a wagon with beach supplies. The elevators were always packed and one was not working at all. One wouldn't tell you what floor it was on to anticipate it coming down. I saw wires coming out of a light post in the courtyard that was just hanging out there with a couple of caps on them. Again, our actual unit was great but the elevator issue was enough to keep us from ever going back. We will get a hotel room or rent a house next time.

Location and The unit itself was good but the Summit needs some work

The Condo was great. It was decorated beautifully and loved how well the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make meals. The Summit needs work. The elevators were a huge problem! We were on the tenth floor and the majority of the time had to take the stairs. The only elevators that worked were the center elevators and you would have to wait forever to be able to get on not to mention they were so crowded, not a good thing considering Covid. Also the smell of Marijuana was everywhere and security didn’t seem to care, well I do care. It’s supposed to be a family friendly resort! The gym is very outdated and most equipment didn’t work properly which presented an issue since my son was supposed to be doing workouts everyday since he was missing football practice. It was nice to have Bikini Bobs on site for a quick meal and the tiki bar was nice as well. The pool area was nice excellent access to the beach with 4 showers to use to rinse off coming in from the beach .

Very clean room, we had an amazing time staying here.

The unit had everything it said it did and was definitely well worth it. We would gladly stay in this location again on our next vacation!

Ok

We reported that dinning table was broken as soon as we got into the unit. Maintenance came to fix it 3 days later. We had to eat in the living area. Very disappointing.
