The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area is the heart of the home, featuring a high-spec modern kitchen fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and everything else you need for a gourmet meal. A large dining table and comfortable sitting area with four chairs surround a cosy log burner, perfect for gathering with family and friends. From here, you can access the patio through large doors that open up to breath-taking countryside views.

Adjacent to the kitchen, you`ll find a snug—a cosy library space with a couple of chairs, ideal for curling up with a good book or enjoying some quiet time. The spacious living room offers another log burner, a projector for family movie nights, and additional patio doors, creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty.

Gilpin Annex: Included with Shepherds Rock is the Gilpin Annex, a separate building offering additional accommodation. It features two ground-floor bedrooms connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower, WC, and sink. While the annex provides comfortable sleeping arrangements and garden access, there’s no kitchen, so guests will need to use the main house for meals and other facilities.

Guest Access

Entrance: Access Shepherds Rock through a welcoming hallway on the ground floor.

Main Living Area: Enjoy the spacious open-plan kitchen, dining room, and sitting area with direct access to the patio.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms: All four bedrooms and additional bathrooms are located on the upper floor, ensuring a comfortable and private stay.

Utility Room: A small utility area equipped with a washer and ironing board, with an additional exit for convenience.

Additional Accommodation

For larger groups, an annex with two additional bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom is available to book separately, accommodating up to 11 guests in total.

Shepherds Rock welcomes children and offers plenty of space for family gatherings, but please note that pets are not allowed to maintain the tranquility and cleanliness of the space.

🏡 Gilpin Annexe: In addition to the main house, Shepherds Rock includes the Gilpin Annexe, a separate freestanding building overlooking the garden. This annex offers one double and one twin bedroom and a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower, WC, and sink. Guests staying in the annex will need to access the main house for kitchen, dining, and living room amenities via the garden. It’s perfect for kids, teenagers, or those seeking a bit more privacy while staying close to the rest of the group.
🚫 Garage: Please note that the garage is for the owner`s use only and is not accessible to guests.
🎥 CCTV: There is CCTV on the exterior of the property for guests safety.
🔥 Logs for the fire are not provided-but can be easily picked up at couple of local stores.
📺 Projector: The projector in the living room requires you to log into your own streaming channels, as there is no terrestrial TV available.
