Hickory 20 is a Great House to Rent!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hickory 20 was a great house for our two families. We really liked two kings with their own bathrooms, the large deck off the kitchen, and the new carpet. This property is very well stocked for several people. The only negatives we had was the deck off the kitchen could use a good cleaning and a full set of measuring cups would be nice. They only had two. Overall we would highly recommend this property.

Comfortable Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hickory 20 was a great location and provided our family with plenty of room. We enjoyed the deck, the outdoor furniture and the AC. Overall, the appliances seemed tired and didn't function at 100%. The dishwasher was clogged and leaked (we found a straw inside from a previous stay), and the dryer was inefficient. We really appreciated that Sunset quickly sent out a technician to work with the AC! Overall, once we resolved the difficulties we were very comfortable and enjoyed our week.

We had a great family time together. The home worked perfectly for everyone.

With two master suits, a queen room and a fourth bedroom with twins, it was perfect. We did have a little trouble with the tv.

It is very well equipped for cooking, etc.. Plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. Weather was warmer than expected so having Bikes to use was great. Only downside that come to mind... Hot tub over chlorinated so couldn’t use for first couple of days. Clothes dryer needs servicing. Took hours to dry clothes. Would definitely recommend and rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was nice spending time with family. I prefer to stay where the patio is private. The gentleman who lives next door can see directly onto the back patio. The upstairs master bedroom bed had no frame so the blankets dragged on the floor, not sure when the cover over the bed was cleaned, or the blanket on top of top sheet. It is covered in white dog hair. The master bath upstairs was interesting, the shower was like a blue womb where the shower head hit my neck when showering and I am 5'3. Good things: They have 3-4 coffee pots and the plates and bowls were gorgeous. The hot tub was private. The bathroom in the basement master was clean and comfortable. The property managers were friendly and sent over fans when the air-conditioning wasn't cooling the top floor, and the hot tub hadn't been serviced, but the young man who brought over the fans our first day, came over the next to clean the hot tub. He was very nice.

Family Summer Gathering

The house is comfortable and ideally located. Well equipped and met our needs, but could use some updating and a deep spring cleaning/carpets. The house has clealry been much used and enjoyed and was ideal for a family like ours with a toddler and dogs. We appreciated the bikes and games and hot tub; loved the SHARC passes and the value they added. Loved the deck. We had a great summer stay .

Relaxing Stay

We had a nice time on our short vacation in Sunriver. The house met all our needs. The only thing is the description made it sound like only one bedroom was down stairs. My elderly mom had a hard time with the stairs, but overall is was a nice place.

Great location, fun stay for family and dogs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Best thing during our stay was the response to our requests from Sunset Lodging. Once they knew we had issues, they jumped on them right away. So, issues:Arriving about 5 pm on Wed. before Thanksgiving was chaotic with small children & dogs. 1st issue was the icy driveway. No shovel or snowmelt, so we had to be very careful unloading. 2nd was the heat. Departing Guests turn the heat down, so it wasn’t toasty warm inside, but after an hour, we realized the main heat was not working. I called the main number but, it was late & got an answering machine. I did not wait till the end of the message, where I later learned, they DO give out an emergency number. Next, I sent an email via the Dack App that they like you to use. We did look for an emergency number, but there was not one that was prominent enough to see, especially in the chaos of unpacking, preparing dinner, watching dogs & kids & getting the awesome fireplace going. The house has other heat options & lots of blankets so, between the fireplace, woodstove in bedroom (way too hot for that small space) & electric baseboard in one of the downstairs rooms, we were ok. Friday morning, early, the minute they got our message, we heard from Sunset Lodging. Someone was over to fix the heat immediately & a shovel & ice melt were sent over as well. Finally, Friday morning we found 2 places listing the emergency number. 1 was, in tiny print, on the maid’s tip envelope & the other was on a sign with info. for the area. In both cases, the number was not prominent. So, my only complaint is emergency numbers should be much more obvious, in larger print & on the fridge!Pluses & minuses: Kitchen is the best stocked rental kitchen I’ve seen. Beds are comfy. Hot tub was great, but lid is very heavy & needs replacing. A few more linens would be nice. Soap, TP & tissues were ample.. Firesstick for tv was full & we were too busy to clean it off, so watched DVD’s. Overall a great rental.

Great Company To Work With

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all the home was clean and a perfect fit for a couple of our families. There was just one issue with one of the beds having blankets that smelled like wet dog. I did not stay in this home but the kids said they hung them out in the fresh air and sprayed them with Fabreeze... Had I known, I would have told them to call Rene. She was awesome and took care of all our needs. I would definitely recommend this company. They were superb from the first booking to the end of our vacation.

Lovely Stay in Sunriver

This house was awesome. It was big and spacious with big rooms and comfy beds. The house was clean when we arrived and well stocked. There was a keurig coffee maker which was a plus. The hot tub was clean and in great condition. My only complaint is the dryer-it took 3-4 cycles to dry clothes- a minor inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again. The communication with Sunset Lodging was great as well.

Amazing!

Had a great time! Was so happy to find an infant bike trailer. My son had a blast riding with the rest of the family! We enjoyed the puzzles. We put a few of them together. Overall, great experience here amd we can't wait to return to this property. Thank you❤

Lovely escape

We had a wonderful time sharing space with friends, cooking together, hot tubbing and such easy access to Sun River, Bend and snow activities.

Great place for a relaxing weekend.

Great location. Close to shops and lots of recreation. We had 4 couples in our group. The rooms were spacious and private for everyone. The deck had some dog poo on it from someone previous and the sink under the bar had some black stuff in the back. Other then that it was clean and well stocked. We will defiantly stay here again.

The house was super comfy, nice layout, and was very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed. It also had a feel of privacy. The windows are placed where you can’t see the neighbors houses. We loved it!!!
