this is a very lovely property in a very quiet area south of Bath. A car is essential.It is a well equipped cottage with everything that you need. And the bottle of sparkling wine was very much appreciated.

The Ottery was fantastic! Roomy, well equipped and the Manager Mia was very responsive and helpful.The house itself was very cute and updated and the surroundings beautiful and very peaceful. Would definitely stay again!

The Ottery is a beautiful, well equipped property in a lovely village. The hosts were very responsive, helpful and friendly and we would certainly book to stay here again!

Delightful cottage retreat, exactly as described! We ate in by the fire on our first and last evening, and walked to the pub on our second evening across the way in 11 minutes! We were well rewarded there with a beautiful old building, and lovely food and staff.Our stay was perfect and catered for our every need. Thank you!

The house was just as described. It's in the countryside in a cluster of similar houses. Groceries/gas/restaurants etc are about 15-20 mins away so you'll want to arrive with food and drink.The house was cosy and the setting is spectacular. We were there when it was windy and rainy and imagine it is even better on a sunny day.Trips to Bath and other nearby cities were easy so it was a good base.Our only small complaints were that both the bathroom was a bit more instagram friendly than functional when with a family (those basin sinks are silly). Similar in the kitchen with a low sink that splashed easily. But again these are very small complaints. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return if we are in the area.
