Lovely house in a peaceful location

Lovely peaceful location. In case anyone else is concerned, I was a little worried about the pub so close, but I barely noticed it was there. The house was spacious inside and had lovely features such as the staircase. Just so people are aware, the small bedroom opens into the main bedroom. The inner hallway is open plan to the main bedroom, just up a step, which leads to a shower room and the small bedroom. But the door to the small room was around a corner and it felt private. We were three adults and it was fine. There was a little PIR light in the night which was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the house met my high cleanliness standards! I would recommend staying here.

This property is a polished gem! It is small, but the size was perfect for me, my husband, and our adult daughter to use as a comfortable home base for our first time exploring Wales. The rental is a separate and very private section of the owners' home with its own entrance overlooking a manicured yard with apple trees. The interior has been completely updated to combine modern style and convenience with the stunning centuries-old beauty of the exterior of the stone farm house. Every detail inside, from the furnishings, to the light fixtures, to the drawer pulls, to the custom wood shelving in the bathroom, seemed intentionally chosen to contribute to the beauty of the surroundings. The kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with all the tools we needed, including a dishwasher and a washing machine with a drying rack. There is a convenient, private parking space and a lovely iron and wood cafe dining set on the patio for enjoying morning coffee or afternoon wine and cheese. The custom-crafted wood staircase to the bedrooms is a bit narrow and might be a challenge for those who struggle to navigate stairs or who might have large pieces of luggage - however, it was no problem for us. The location is wonderful - the shoreline and many pubs are all within a 5-20 min walk. We met Trudy and Mike as we were getting ready to depart. They are friendly and considerate hosts and we would definitely stay here again!
