The main bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room.
A second small bedroom has a toilet and wash basin off.
Heating is special electric radiators in all rooms. Hot water is via hot water cylinder.
The lounge has a three seater and two seater sofa. Coffee table, sideboard and TV
There is a double bed in the lounge that can be used in this room for two extra visitors.
The kitchen/diner has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table and chairs.
There is an outside garden area.
The property sits 6 miles to the west of Garve, it is advised to have transport as the property is very rural with only two buses a day & the nearest train station is at Garve. Please look at the drone video which shows exactly where we are are the surrounding countryside. The accommodation sleeps 5 people in 3 bedrooms & has two shower bathrooms. one of which is ensuite to the single bedroom, the other is a family bathroom. The beds are either 5ft King-sized beds or 3ft single beds. All the beds have coverless duvets that are washed after every guest ensuring we provide the most fresh & clean experience possible. There are a selection of bath toiletries supplied along with a bathrobe & slippers for your enjoyment. There are rear grounds that go down to the banks of the River Black Water where guests can sit & enjoy the peaceful clam of the river & the beauty of the surrounding mountains, or be served a meal from the bar. The accommodation is self-catering but breakfast is provided (selection of cereals, bread, jam or marmalade, teas, coffee, butter and milk) with an open plan kitchen/diner and a separate lounge. A Smart TV is in the lounge with access to Netflix and Disney+, guests can load their own accounts onto the smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee machine, air fryer, cooker, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. There is central heating in the property ensuring a snug experience even in the coldest of months. There is a laundrette with coin operated washing machines & tumble dryers to deal with the heaviest of demands.
The Property sits in the very heart of the Highlands & is an excellent based from where to go & see all the sights, to visit all the attractions, from fairytale castles or the castle of that 'Scottish Play', battlefields, waterfalls, the gorge, walk the Munros, cycle or drive the scary roads round Applecross or travel round & see the places where films and TV programmes

Living so remote can be exciting and challenging, Guests will drink the water pumped up from a well over 100 foot deep as the water makes its way to the River, all fully maintained and safe but, no additives, just a beautiful flavour.
The cottage was built in the mid sixties but sits on the site of a hunting lodge built in around 1850
The air is very pure & the skies clear, there is very little light pollution. It is possible at times to see the Aurora Borealis, and on extremely clear nights the Milky Way can be seen by the naked eye in the sky.
Celebrities have stayed with us, we provided accommodation for 3 weeks for all the drivers & staff working on the film 'Stardust'. We have Blue Plaques on the outside to provide additional interest & information for guests.
There is a car park at the front of the main building for guests staying in Stag View & River View, Mountain View & Owl View have dedicated parking spaces & Woodlands Rest & Tonita guests can park directly outside the properties.

We wanted to get away into the rural highlands to experience the clean air, the tranquility and the wild life, to be able to allow the river to trickle over our toes, to see really blue skies, to see stars like we had never seen before
