Wheal Coates on the North Coast is only two miles where you can explore the stunning coastline, the mining heritage and find beautiful beaches, outdoor enthusiasts and Nature Lovers will love the surrounding countryside, and breathtaking views.

in the opposite direction you have Falmouth, Helston and the Lizard Peninsula, visit the most southerly point of the country explore the Lighthouse and have a cream tea or a pasty in one of the coffee shops before strolling down to the small beach.

If you want culture head to Truro with its magnificent Cathedral and cobbled streets or spend some time exploring Redruth and Camborne with relics of its mining heritage, if you climb up to the top of Carn Brea you can see both towns and even have a meal in Carn Brea Castle. Looking for something different visit Kennel Vale a picturesque woodland originally home to the Kennel Vale gunpowder factory, a magical area for all to enjoy.
