Susan was really informative and helpful. The large Victorian house was amazing! Furnished with Victorian and contemporary styles. All the amenities our family group of 12 required and a wonderfully decorated for Christmas It all made our stay perfect

Wonderful ocean views!The communication with the host was great. She kept us updated throughout the process, and answered our questions quickly. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was very well-kept with a lot of attention to detail, and was in a great location. The kitchen was just stunning.We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Holiday

Channings is a perfect holiday home providing everything and more. We had a lovely family holiday and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be staying again. The views from the house are breathtaking.

Holiday in St Ives

Great property for large group - we had two families with 7 children and it suited us perfectly. Within ten minutes by foot of main town and nearest beach. Property was very accessible by car with parking, no battling with St Ives traffic and narrow streets. Amazing views from all rooms.

Extraordinary find in St Ives

House was very well appointed with a fabulous kitchen. All bedrooms were comfortable and included in suite bathrooms. There was plenty of room to spread out. Common areas were very comfortable. Views are amazing. Location allows an easy walk to town. And if you love books there are many.Managers/owners were very responsive The house is so well equipped it was hard to find anything missing We highly recommend a stay both because of the superior accommodations and the wonderful town of St Ives!!

Spacious property for an extended family group

Fantastic correspondence with host. We really enjoyed our stay. Outside shower was great for us and our 4 legged friend! The T shaped table in the kitchen was excellent for the 3 generations of our family of 11! The house was really spread out which gave us all plenty of space. The lounge was great for us all go get together.

Gorgeous home with spectacular views

This home was fabulous! We had a group of 12 people staying of all ages and found the rooms/ beds to be absolutely accommodating and comfortable. And having 6 baths was a plus! Beautiful decor and attention to detail including all amenities needed to house a large family. Also very accessible to the town, shops, tours and the beach. Our stay was most memorable and Channing house made it extra special!

Everything we'd hoped for our family holiday home.

A spacious, tastefully decorated property, well situated for a stroll into the centre of St Ives. The kitchen had masses of equipment, a huge gas & electric range cooker & an American fridge freezer. Plenty of space for 6 adults, an active 3 year old & 1 yr old twins. Bedrooms were well furnished & the beds very comfortable Susan, the host answered all our queries quickly .Our grandson is keen to return!

Fab house

I have nothing negative to say. 5 en suite bedrooms + extra downstairs loo, comfy beds, fully-equipped kitchen. Everything you need is here, including a library of almost 1000 books (our 11 year old counted). There’s a climb uphill to the house from the harbour but that applies to most St Ives properties. I’m fitter!! Loved it.

A beautiful house with a breath taking veiw

We are a shanty group that stayed for an event in St Ives. We were made welcome even before we ventured to St Ives with great communication with the host and arriving at the venue we were blown away. We hope to book for next year and every year after that we were so impressed with Channings.

Family holiday

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week in the property as a group of 10 family members, kids and adults. The property has everything you need, being really well equipped, and is spacious enough for a large group. The location is great with the added bonus of 3 parking spaces. Our host, Susan, was brilliant, promptly replying to any queries we had. I would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic home for several families

This is a fantastic home for several families to enjoy with great spaces for different ages as well as ample space if everyone wants to come together. Most bedrooms have stunning views of the ocean and harbour and each has its own en-suite. The terrace in the morning enjoys the sunshine and is perfect for a morning coffee / breakfast. It’s only a short walk down to Porthminster beach, which makes beach trips really easy. We loved our stay here and will certainly be booking again. Thanks Susan!!

Brilliant Family Holiday

The property is fabulous - large and spacious and comfortably and tastefully furnished with quality furniture that is perfectly in character with the house. The bedrooms are beautiful and very comfortable and all on suite. 3 have glorious sea views. The lounge is large airy and spacious with the most wonderful view out to sea. The kitchen is amazing - large and well equipped with adequate seating for a large group. Parking for 3 cars is a real bonus!
