There was a lot of maintenance issues that I don’t think have been addressed in a while Toilet flapper issue. Sliding glass door issue need new rollers. Screen door need new rollers ants in the kitchen. Lots of bugs in the unit. The levalor knobs we’re not working in the living room and the elevators in the door to get a nice cross breeze we’re mailed shut so it was pretty miserable in there doing the day. We couldn’t find a close place to dispose of our trash. We lived the bed and I loved the glasses they had. It was ok but needs to be updated. The umbrella that was provided was broken. Counter top was chipped. And the knives need to be sharpened but they did have quit a few kitchen supplies but the 2 frying pans need to be replaced as the coating was coming off and that’s hazardous to your health. I let the property manager know all these problems. Not sure if anyone has mentioned these issues before. The bedroom was very cool

Great view, convenient location. Enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai every morning. Kitchen well stocked with hardware. Great place - would rent again. Only negative was road noise was a little loud but bearable.

This place was perfect for our honeymoon! The moment we walked in we heard the ocean and it was magical. The view from our balcony was perfection. We got to watch surfers every day and we even spotted some dolphins having fun one day! An easy walk to the beach. I would happily stay in this room again!! 100/10

Clean, great view, grounds and pool area beautiful. The furniture is older, kitchen is very old with some cabinets in poor shape. The worst thing it lists as an AC unit. That is not accurate. The AC is limited to the bedroom, a portable that just blows ambient temperature.

Nice view from lanai. Waves crashing made traffic noises insignificant. Nice central location on Kauai. Walking distance to several eateries (and drinkeries). Showing her age a little, but very clean. You will pick up traffic noises in the bedrooms, but most nights, the island settles down by 10 or 11 pm.

Beautiful stay in Wailua Bay

This location offered stunning views along with other great amenities like beach access and a swimming pool. The location is perfect if you’re looking to explore the entire island. 1 hour to the north side, 1 hour to Waimea Canyon. Would highly recommend staying here!

Wailua Bay view

I came in late Saturday night and left very early Tuesday morning. The host accommodated me several times getting back to me with questions promptly. I did not swim at the beach shown in the picture. The view is wonderful with South Southeast directions & morning light. The Coconut Market or Longs Drugs is a short drivefew minutes.

Amazing Views

First time at this property. Great central location. The ocean views were amazing. We will miss the sound of the waves. Condo had everything we needed. Nice to have beach chairs and a cooler to use. Would definitely stay here again.

The view was awesome. The picture of the lanai furniture on vrbo web site is wrong..so that was disappointing. What we sat on was not good for my legs. The condo very clean. Had everything you needed. When the t.v. Went out we had help and thank you for the fast response. We enjoyed our stay. Also, thanks for leaving the light on and the a/c

Nice Property

The condo is clean and contained most things needed. It was wonderful sitting on the balcony and watching the surfers in the bay. It was a good location to get to various parts of the island. The pool was lovely. It was also within easy walking distance of several good restaurants. However, it is noisy. Some of the back louvered windows cannot close completely so the wind and crashing waves are loud at night. There is also a lot of traffic noise.

Bay View has a spectacular view of the ocean

We were a bit disappointed with the outdated condo. Some small issues included the cabinet door to the trash was broken and wouldn't close completely. The window sills of the louvered windows are most likely difficult to remove to clean and the dust showed. The dishwasher appeared wobbly. We removed our shoes upon entering the condo, but the dirt in the carpeting made our bare feet dirty. The front door would not latch completely when leaving, we needed to give it a good pull each time.The carpeting on the outside also appeared quite in need of a good cleaning

Great place, great location

You can't find a better place for an amazing view. And, the location is perfectly situated where you can get to either side of the island fairly quickly. We'll definitely be back!

Ocean waves retreat in Beautiful Kauai’s Condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay in this condo that was well equipped with most anything you might need during your stay. The kitchen had pans, spices and even food storage containers you might need, and there were beach chairs & even an ice chest. It was great to have a washer & dryer available, too! Both of us agree that this was a great central location that we would for sure stay in again!

The properly was ok, I had to deal with a lot of flying insets didn’t know where it was coming from. I think from one of the side window. I didn’t feel much of the Ocean breeze from the top building. The view was nice.

Peaceful condo in great location

Our condo was well furnished and very comfortable. The view was amazing. I didn't realize that the beach we looked at was not suitable for getting in the water as the waves were too rough there but we loved watching the water and surfers daily. Great communication with the property manager. Pool was the perfect temp and never too many people. Good location, too!

Would Stay Here Again!

Gave 5 stars for the following reasons-- --CLEAN! --Well-stocked with not only the necessities, but also beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, ice chest --the view! (the balcony overlooks the ocean) --AC in bedroom works very well! --we had an issue with something in the condo, called the property manager, and she was there within one hour to fix it We loved our stay in this condo, we have no complaints, and we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and stunning view!

The condo itself is pretty outdated and a few things probably need to be repaired. The biggest reason I booked this condo is because of the view! It's absolutely stunning, there is always a breeze on the balcony and I promise you won't be sitting inside a lot. We watched sea turtles float in the waves close to shore during the afternoons around 2pm. Waves are pretty rough and shore is very rocky so they don't actually come up on shore here. There is only air conditioning in the bedroom which is pretty darn good during the night. I actually got cold a couple times. However the rest of the condo doesnt have air conditioning. It can get a little warm in there but with all the fans that were provided we stayed cool enough. We didn't cook much but there is plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. Washer and dryer was perfect especially after getting dirty on some trails. There is NO ELEVATOR and we were on the third floor. Keep that in mind if you have any issues climbing stairs or for carrying groceries and luggage. The location is perfectly in the middle of the east side of the island so it makes it a shorter drive to go north or south on the island. Would definitely stay here again.

1 month in kauai

We enjoyed our 3rd stay In Kauai. We had everything we needed. However, shame on the owners for not updating their unit. A little paint and upkeep goes a long way. Screens in windows and sliders need replacing, countertops were peeling and actually disintegrating over kitchen sink. Windows in bedroom need replacing…I’m pretty sure there is mildew and mold on the wall around the window. Everything in the unit felt wet and damp. I’m sorry to say I would not rent this unit again.

Not as quiet as expected

Condo is just as advertised. The living room faces the ocean & has a beautiful view. The bedroom, however, faces the highway and is quite noisy. Impossible to sleep during morning traffic. These improvements should be made:1) Windows in living room and bedroom are single paned slat style windows that don’t close completely. The first night it was really windy and the wind whistled through the living room windows so loudly that’s all we could hear. Traffic noise wouldn’t be as bad if bedroom windows closed 2) Bathroom fan sounds like a garbage disposal. Blades must be hitting blades?? We didn’t use it much for fear it would start on fire or just fall apart 3) Dishwasher is not anchored down & flops around when opened. When full, both top & bottom racks fly out when opened. Not safe! That’s probably what broke the counter top edge above the dishwasher. Pieces of the edge are taped on with clear tape that is dirty & peeling off. Saw this in a December 2023 review and 2 months later is still not repaired. How does housekeeping not see these issues & report them to maintenance? Other things in the unit that could be updated: All coffee mugs have chipped rims. Shower curtain rod is rusted, towel racks & toilet paper holder are corroded, toilet seat is yellowed, all screws on outlets & light switches are rusted, door hinges are rusted. This makes the condo look old & dirty even though it’s clean. Inexpensive to replace & makes a big difference. Nice condo but needs love & attention.

Great location!

Loacation was great view was 2/3 great and 1/3 hiway. JESSE, the property manager was great and a wealth of information including the derelict Coco Palms across the street. The unit was OK. Kitchen was marginal, in need of a remodel. The counter top was cracked and repaired with tape the toaster would not work, the top of the fridge was filthy and rusted. Pool isn't heated..too cold for grandkids. All things considered we would stay there again but in a different unit away from the road. All things considered we enjoyed the

Very Clean!

This was a nice place to stay with great views of the ocean! It was spotlessly clean even though it is an older condo. There is a fabulous bakery across the street with amazing malasadas. My only complaint, if I had one, is the traffic noise in the morning since it is right off the main road. We ran the fan all night for white noise.

Amazing Stay

Amazing view from the balcony where we enjoyed our meals, watching the sunrise and taking in the scenery. The unit was centrally located, comfortable and met our needs. Management was responsive. Shopping and restaurants at Coconut Marketplace, beachfront food and drinks at Lava Lava and great baked goods at Passion Bakery all within easy walking distance. Look forward to returning someday!

Just okay

This property was fine. Definitely much older than the pictures suggest. But we were fine with that. Honestly the only deal breaker for us was we assumed since it was right on the water we would have a good ocean breeze and for some reason, with the way it’s situated, you can feel any breeze at all!! Like even on the balcony the air is stagnant. The temperature inside was stifling and made sitting in the living room miserable even with fans. The bedroom has an ac unit for sleeping which saved us. I honestly wouldn’t have made it without that. This property was fine but I wouldn’t stay there again. I understand not all condos have AC on the island and that’s fine, but this property is just too hot to be comfortable. Otherwise……it was okay.
