La unidad n. ° 414, muy mejorada, cuenta con características como hermosos pisos de baldosas de travertino y muebles de calidad, que solo se combinan con la vista excepcional de la playa, el océano y las islas exteriores. Esta casa de vacaciones del segundo piso con una cama y un baño tiene una cocina totalmente equipada con mostrador de granito y una isla. Disfrute del lujo en la cama king-size del dormitorio con aire acondicionado. El baño remodelado cuenta con superficies de granito, una cabina de ducha y ducha. Hay un ventilador de techo y televisores de pared en la sala de estar y en el dormitorio. Quiet and enjoyable as always. The grounds were beautiful and clearly maintained with care. Two minor things,Beach access for snorkeling was a bit harder now, but certainly still was doable. The natural gas grills were great for seafood, but it was harder to get them really hot to sear beef. Overall, a wonderful place to stay yet again.

I did not like the lanai. Big concrete walls on each side. I felt closed in. View was fantastic. we didn't have a vaccum. I borrowed the one from the condo my grandson stayed in. I respect other peoples property..never been there before it was good security was there and some nice lady happened to be just coming in the parking lot. They both helped us.

Amazing spot!

This condo had it all. A great view of the ocean, the bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and kept everything nice, the pool guy was there daily to check on everything. Overall a great experience.

Very nice view, the apartment has everything you may need, close to good coffee shops, grocery stores, and seafood market. Only thing we found a a ball of hair in a shower, and mess under the bed with an almost dead cockroach.

Loved it. First washer dryer. It is there but locked behind doors. To wash clothes have to pay for laundry with coins machine which was broken. Tell us there is no access in description of property. Garbage disposal went out, and AC remote went out. Cannot get fixed over weekends. Place was dirty. Owners should know.

Front St. was a short drive away and many other small restaurants and beaches were within walking distance. Only complaints are that the bed was a little too firm for our liking and when the upstairs neighbor opened their sliding doors to go onto their lanai it was ridiculously loud, sounded like booming thunder in the condo every time. With that being said, we’d still recommend the location to people!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall stay was ok. The view, sunsets and ocean sounds on the patio were awesome. Liked the location. However, we are light sleepers and the A/C window unit in the bedroom is really loud. We couldn't use it while sleeping so we heard the neighbors out the bedroom window, beside us and below us. They constantly scrape the chairs which sound like thunder. The front door lock was challenging to open the first couple of days. The afternoon heat is felt in the back in the kitchen and living room as there is no a/c there. Good little beach next to complex and views of turtles near the shore. I loved having the beach chairs available. The grounds were well kept. Miso Phat sushi nearby was good, but long wait times even to go orders.

Home away from Home!

Island style upgrade was exactly what we were looking for. With the BBQ pit, pool and parking within easy reach and local markets a short drive away, this was the best condo location. The scents of gardenia, plumeria and pikake in the air completed the scene for us. Mahalo nui loa to the grounds staff, security and front desk for their smiles and service. We got to know a few of them and appreciate them very much.

Worst TV experience of any rental I have ever used. Hopefully this problem is mostly in unit 414, not the unit we wanted, but we heard horror stories from other guests about their tv also so work on that.

Killer views and grounds/gardens.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m a repeat visitor to Kukeana. Each unit varies based upon owners furnishings and uogrades. Great views in oceanfront units but frankly most units have a nice outlook of some sort. Directvoceanfront units like this one are very private unlike other complexes with lounge chairs on lawn in front of beach. Only exception may be the building nearest where there is sometimes a small beach depending upon surf. (Sometimes guests sit in front of these units nit realizing there may be people losing their privacy. However all beaches are public in Hawaii so there shouldn’t be an expectation no one can walk in front of your lanai. . Beautiful grounds, well maintained. Unit was very clean with comfortable supportive bed. AC in bedroom (only) works great for needed summer days. Great whale watching. BBQs facing ocean nice to meet other visitors and chat while cooking. Tiki torches are lit from sunset to about 8 or 9 pm. Nice romantic touch not found in many condo complexes (just hotels) Friendjy staff. Knives were very dull so I’m donating a sharpener to the unit. All in all a great place to stay. I would return.

Turtles everyday,Rainbows and listening to the waves but it is far from being upto the standards we are used to for a rental. It looks old needs lots of maintenance. I fixed the screen door changed a light bulb as soon as we got there. The kitchen was poorly outfitted without even 1 coffee filter. They hid the extra roll of toilet paper so well we bought some at the store. The bedroom fan makes all kinds of noise and needs to be replaced it is unusable

Maui Vacation

The radio in the bedroom doesn't work and we had problems with the TV remotes that required unplugging and replugging the TV and cable box. It would be nice if there were two beach chairs {one was broken, but usable} and un umbrella for use. I left an umbrella the last time we were there but it was gone.

Nice grounds, beautiful view, clean

This is our 3rd trip to Maui staying at different properties each time. Pro - we had a very late check in. Great communication with property and a night guard that took care of us promptly. Pro - the grounds were well manicured, pool area nice with many chairs. Pro - condo was well stocked with the necessities. Bonus were great beach towels, a couple beach chairs and a boogie board. Pro - the view - directly on the ocean. Keep in mind (and we knew this from pics before we rented) the lanai walls are deep and restrict your side views a bit. Pro - close enough for us to walk to some local restaurants and shops. Con/Pro - day 1 of check in we unfortunately noticed ants in a few places. Contacted management and they had ant traps in place within a couple hours. Also they were doing a full pest spray of all condos the day we left so you know they must keep on top of it. Con - the parking. I'm sure they're trying to fit in as many as possible but the spaces are so narrow it was difficult to get in and out and one day we got a warning ticket for parking on a line. If you have a large vehicle or aren't a parking Pro this might be concerning. Suggestion - add another boogie board and maybe a beach umbrella. We also would've liked an inside deadbolt for added safety. Different for us - this condo wasn't direct from an owner but a property management group so we had to sign a contract outside VRBO - something I've never had to do. No issues - just different.
