Acerca de este alojamiento
Located in a quiet spot in the dunes, offering a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat.
St Meva is a recently refurbished holiday chalet nestled among the sand dunes in a quiet spot on Riviere Towans, just a short stroll from Hayle's three miles of golden, sandy beach. Comfortable and stylish, it offers super facilities and thoughtful furnishings, making it an easy place to slow down and soak up the coastal landscape of West Cornwall. A well-behaved family dog is welcome.
With shallow pools along the shoreline, the nearby beach is ideal for swimming, bodyboarding, paddleboarding, surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as whiling away the hours rock-pooling between tides. When you return, French doors open from the living space to the Towans, and there's a picnic bench to the rear where you can sit out and enjoy the uninterrupted dune views. Ample parking is available directly around St Meva.

- Living / Dining / Kitchen Area - Open-plan space with large four-seater sofa, Smart TV and French doors to the Towans. Kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, wine cooler and washing machine. Dining table seating up to four guests.

- Bedroom 2 - Twin beds, hanging/storage unit.
- Shower Room - Good-size room with shower cubicle, wash basin with vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC.

A Message from Toms Holidays
We'd love to welcome you to Riviere Towans. Our friendly on-site team is here every day from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday, and 09:00 to 13:00 on Sundays, to make your holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Whether you need housekeeping help, local travel tips, or just a friendly chat about the best spots for coffee, we're right here. Plus, for peace of mind, we have a 24-hour out-of-hours number, so you're never without support during your stay.
The Location
Riviere Towans has been part of Cornwall's holiday story since the 1920s, when the very first beach chalets were built. Today, it's a charming mix of quirky, privately owned holiday cottages, chalets, bungalows and lodges, many with breathtaking sea views. Best of all, every property is just a short stroll from the golden sands of Hayle Beach and the sparkling waters of St Ives Bay.
On Your Doorstep
Step outside and you'll find adventure and relaxation waiting. Wander the coastal path from Hayle Estuary to Godrevy Lighthouse, stopping at beach cafés, seafood shacks and surf spots along the way. Surfing, paddleboarding, bodyboarding, kayaking and even kitesurfing are all on offer within walking distance. Nature lovers can enjoy the RSPB Hayle Estuary Reserve, while families will love Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Hayle Lido, and, of course, Cornwall's famous ice-cream parlours and pasty shops.
Further Afield
A short train ride along the coast takes you to the vibrant harbour town of St Ives, home to Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. Explore Penzance's historic streets, Newlyn's bustling fish market, or head further west to Land's End and the rugged cliffs of Sennen Cove. For panoramic views, walk up to Knill's Monument and Steeple Woodland before heading down to Carbis Bay for fine dining and a sheltered swim.
A Year-Round Destination
Cornwall is a timeless favourite with artists, writers and filmmakers — from Poldark to Hollywood blockbusters. Whether you're after a laid-back beach break, family adventures or a romantic coastal escape, Toms Holidays at Riviere Towans is the ideal base.
Winter Stays
Riviere Towans is just as magical in winter, with bracing walks, cosy pubs and fewer crowds. Do note that this is also when many owners carry out renovations and site maintenance, which may cause some background noise. If you'd like reassurance before booking, our team will be happy to chat. The winter season runs from 1 November to 1 April (or the week before Good Friday, whichever comes first).
All our holiday homes are self-catered, with well-equipped kitchens, TVs, heating and plenty of home comforts. Many also include washing machines. Check the property details above to see the exact facilities available.
