Had a great stay at this property. House was super clean upon arrival and check-in was easy. Had everything we needed for a great stay. We were treated to beautiful sunrises and wildlife from various birds to two fawns playing in the yard. Quiet area. Would stay again!

We had an amazing stay. The pictures don’t do the property justice. It’s gorgeous and peaceful. North hero is a great little town and there’s endless things to do on the islands. Zach keeps the property immaculate and we loved that it was pet friendly. Great place for a family get away.

Great Lakefront Property for Rest and Relaxation

Great property and location on Carry Bay. Very clean and comfortable for a small family. Owner is extremely responsive and helpful. Have stayed at this property a few times and it never disappoints...highly recommend!

Peaceful vacation

Lovely house, immaculate, very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Our 2nd stay in this house. We brought my 90 y.o. MIL this time! Spent a lot of time looking at the lake from the deck & kayaking. Thank you!

Lovely clean Lake front home. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise out the bedroom window is priceless!

Zach was informative and helpful. Location of the home was wonderful. Home was comfortable and lovely. We spent numerous hours enjoying the deck looking over the lake. We would highly recommend this home.

Wonderful Vacation Home!!

The home was everything described!! Very comfortable. Pictures didn't do it justice. Zach answered any question we had. If there was anything it was the lake grass, which can't be controlled, making swimming difficult.

Hard to eclipse!

Our family had a lovely time staying and eclipse watching. We put the deck chairs on the lawn for comfortable viewing. The well equipped kitchen and grill were perfect for our eclipse barbecue celebration! Beds and bedrooms were comfortable. The view from the master bedroom was magnificent.

Rest & Relaxation

Our stay was a week of rest & relaxation. Bring with you what ever you need if this is your goal. This includes food (condiments, spices, etc.), beverages, extra wood if you plan on using the fire pit and soft TP. The days are perfect for kayaking (again bring your own) & visiting the local sites in VT & Canada. The hot tub is a wonderful way to end to each day. This was truly a week about having peace and quiet.

A Wonderful Welcome to North Hero

We loved so much about this property. It had all the comforts of home (particularly the AC which was great on this humid week). Awesome bank of windows in the living room and Master to see the lake. There was an open concept with the living room, dining room and kitchen. Bedrooms with varied sleeping arrangements and good size beds (thank. you for having a king in the Master). The location is down a mile long dirt road and I underestimated the power of mosquitos and deer flies in this area. That's my one "woe is me", because I love to walk the dogs. It was a very rainy time and lots of standing water. I imagine at a different time of year, they wouldn't be unbearable. However, at the house on the water side, no issue with any bugs. The home shares a private driveway with another house, and we loved the spacious law all around the home and privacy. It had a huge deck which we used for dinners and a nice grill. With regards to water access, there is a great dock and they have a boat lift. The swimming area is shallow so nice for dogs and children and does have a fair amount of vegetation, which may not be for everyone. We brought a paddle board and a little motorized fishing boat (which you could pull onto shore). Owners were amazing, very responsive, down to earth and a joy to rent from. Some homes pretend to be something they are not. This was exactly as the listing described and absolutely immaculate. We were sad to leave.

What a terrific property! Great roomy house with plenty of room for the family. We enjoyed the sunrises and being on the water. The owner was great to work with and quickly answered any questions we posed. Definitely would stay here again.

Lake Champlain Lakeside

Large house and yard with plenty of room, and dog friendly! The neighborhood was very quiet and beautiful during our 5 day stay in foliage season. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, sitting by the outdoor fire pit, and just enjoying the peace and the view. There are several local farms for fresh foods, one in walking distance of the house. And the sandwiches from Hero's Welcome (about a mile away, on the main road) were great!

A wonderful, peaceful fall retreat. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a recent stay (Sep 28-Oct 2, 2022) at this lovely home in a quiet corner of North Hero, VT. The home was immaculate and beautifully kept with all we needed to enjoy our mornings and evenings while there. (We spent most of each day traversing much of what the northwestern part of VT had to offer.) The beautiful, calm setting on the quiet point set the tone for each day and was a welcome respite after exploring all day. The new gray carpet was a nice surprise (from the pink shown in the online pictures) and was very cushy underfoot. Our only recommendation for future travellers is to be sure to bring coffee/tea/sugar and also seasonings if desired for any meal prep; as we found only salt/pepper and rosemary in the cupboard.

We had a wonderful week at this comfortable house and property ! Love the view and hot tub! House is well appointed and clean. Close to iIsle of le motte and Dune beach. Not too far from Burlington also. Fun week in a great house!

Great Family Location

Zach was great to deal with in the whole process. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The dock and boat lift was great and was secure for the boat over night. Never worried about how the boat would be in the morning. Lake front was grassy and not great for swimming but we used the boat as our swim platform. The cove was protected and great for the kids for water sports. Overall this was a great rental for the first time on the lake.
