Welcome to Lake Sometimes Retreat, where adventure meets comfort—with no cleaning fee! Just 5 miles from Summersville Lake and 25 miles from New River Gorge National Park, you’re perfectly located for rock climbing, ATV trails, mountain biking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The New and Gauley Rivers offer incredible fishing and whitewater. For a scenic trip, Babcock State Park and the famous Glade Creek Grist Mill are just 30 miles away. The suite is big enough to be able to stretch out but small enough to still feel cozy. The kitchen area is equipped with full size appliances and a microwave. Perfect for making a meal or a snack. There's a desk area as you enter the sitting /sleeping area. The studio offers a 55 inch Roku tv and free WiFi. Sleep late in the king size bed or if you are an early riser, grab your favorite morning beverage and stroll the property enjoying the beautiful sunrises. Wash the day away in the full-size bath and enjoy winding down in the privacy of your suite or communing by the fire pit. Lake Sometimes is a small farmette. Lucas lives on the property and has free range chickens and other animals at times. You might be treated to fresh eggs for breakfast if available! Take some time out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and stay with us while you are enjoying what really is Almost Heaven, WV. You and your guests are welcome to walk around, our approximate 6 acres, and explore the property. Almost always available. I own most of the neighboring houses and we are a work in progress to improve the property. There really isn't any type of public transportation.
