The house was fantastic. Good location, comfortable, and included nice touches like games and coffee filters and coffee (which was greatly appreciated). We did not use the fire pit or hot tub because of personal preferences but others would appreciate it. Wish there was a better view of the lake but due to the trees it was not feasible( certainly not the hosts fault or any deception. Would greatly recommend to family or friends visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was beautiful, very clean, and clearly well taken care of. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit, including a hot tub. The location was perfect—only about 15 minutes from Summersville Marina and just 5 minutes to the dam, which made it super easy to enjoy the lake and surrounding areas.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway close to Summersville Lake!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. The only issue we had was trying to park our boat trailer for a 21 ft boat. The driveway is on a hill with very limited back-up clearance due to a power pole beside the driveway and a fence across from the driveway. If you’re bringing a trailer or boat, be sure to double-check the parking details with the owner. Otherwise, it was a great experience and we would stay here again.

We attended for a bachelorette weekend and had one big slumber party. The house accommodated everything we needed and provided more than enough indoor and outdoor space for our large group. Everything was clean and readily accessible. The kitchen was very well stocked as well. Miranda was absolutely wonderful and understanding when our group number increased last minute and I couldn’t be more grateful that she was accommodating for that!

Nice property and location, very clean. Beds are uncomfortable and kitchen table is not stable. Host is responsible and very friendly. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries.

Nice Location

We really liked the location of this house. It was an easy (as far as WV goes) drive to everywhere we wanted to go. There is lake and river access just down the road, a beautiful overlook and the lighthouse just down the other direction and Fat Eddies is close enough to walk to. There were some things left in the fridge that probably shouldn't have been but we just left it as is. We only stayed for 2 nights but I wish we had an extra day here because I feel like there was much more we could have done. Overall a great choice for the area.

We had a great stay, everything we needed was there. The beds were a bit squeaky but otherwise everything was awesome. Hot tub was clean and the lake was super close!

We stayed during our elopement at nearby New River Gorge. The wall of windows facing the lake (although thick trees block a lot of the view during summer) is stunning! The living area is awesome, and we want to model our future house after it.

Ok for a night stay.

I was excited to find this property available in its strategic location for a planned rafting trip with my family and a friend’s family. The pictures online do show the best sides of this house. I tried to understand how it was rated to sleep 10 when there were only 2 bedrooms? There was a pull out sofa which I ended up sleeping on since I booked this and I wanted my guests to be comfortable. The entire right side of the pullout sofa reeked of URINE! I had no other option of places to sleep so you can imagine how uncomfortable I was that night. I did utilize the stove to cook breakfast and some soup in the evening. There were a bunch of small dead bugs in the sugar canister- I only looked because I was looking for matches to start the fire pit outside. The linens were ok and bathrooms were clean. I suppose this Vrbo served its purpose but I will definitely be more prudent to check provisions before I book again. I will add the host was very informative when I messaged her with a few questions with a minimal response time.

Cutest Cabin

Our family had a wonderful stay at this VERY cleanly and recently updated cabin! We would certainly go back. It had linens, toilet paper and paper towels. It was centrally located and close to ice cream/food, mini golf and the Summersville Lake Marina.

The home was very clean. We actually met the housekeeper, and she was working very hard. Carrying luggage and food in was not convenient due to distance and backwards opening gate. The living are was very nice and modern. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes but baking supplies were limited and cookie sheet and pans were rusty. The location was very nice and convenient. The deck was very nice and peaceful. I would recommend for families that do not have toddlers or elderly members.

Beautiful mountain getaway at the lake

The renovation they've done is very nice and enjoyable. Location is good. Upon arrival, we discovered that only one bed was made so we had to make the other up. The next day, when taking a shower, there was no soap in either of the showers. Had to wash with liquid hand soap. Could not get the coffee pot to cooperate. For the price point, I would have expected those basic amenities. Host left the ingredients to make s'more's (nice touch) but because of the rain, we couldn't build a fire.
